I already want to go back! Our stay was wonderful!
From start to finish Brent could not have been more responsive, professional & friendly.
The home was clean, cozy & perfectly situated on quiet cove.
The only problem I have is when we can return!

2nd time renting this house- works for our large family and dogs.
Great location on the lake with awesome boat rental. Many memories made here, we will be back!

Booking, adding the boat, and check-in process were all super easy. House was just as described and overall clean. There were some cobwebs on the bedroom lamp and one bathroom drawer had a lot of hair in it, both things the housekeeping team likely overlooked. Otherwise house was wonderful with comfortable beds and plenty of room for everyone. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and game room. Caught 20+ fish fright from the dock. Boat was a great add-on and ran 35ish MPH, we boated to dinner a couple nights too. House is on the main part of the lake (not way back in a finger) but also not the busiest part, from a first time visitor it seemed like a prime location. Brent was a top notch host. Told him there were a few light bulbs burnt out and that the fan in the master bedroom only had low speed (nothing that would hinder our experience, more of a FYI since he lives in Florida). He sent a Wal-Mart delivery with lightbulbs and a box fan the next morning! The packing list had camp chairs, which took a good bit of room packing the vehicles. You won’t need any additional chairs unless you have a large group, there was plenty of patio chairs on the back deck as well as several plastic Adirondack style chairs to use by the fire pit. Not sure if the owner provided or previous guests left, but there were also fishing poles and a few inflatable tubes/rafts under the back deck. Overall very pleased with our stay, and would definitely recommend!!!

This is a nice lakefront property in a quiet neighborhood. My family fished off the dock and caught more fish than we could count! We had a few scattered storms and the downstairs has air hockey, pool, and video games that entertained us all. The owner is super nice and responsive. Our family really enjoyed our time here.

House is outdated. Porches and dock area is old and in need of repair. Outside furniture is cheap, dirty and uncomfortable. Sliding doors are broken. Inside is in need of updating, but not bad. Overall, this rental is decent if you were paying a much lower price. Just because it sleeps 8, doesn't mean it should automatically come at a premium. Spiders and their webs EVERYWHERE with new ones in the morning so clean up is daily.
Pontoon was nice and reasonable rental charge helped offset the disappointment with the home.
Note- which will explain my comments and SHOULD BE MADE KNOWN PRIOR TO RENTAL AGGREEMENT is that this house is on the market. The owner is selling the property so no effort or dollars have gone into it for some time. Had we known this, we would have chosen another property.
This house DOES NOT have a hot tub as mentioned in the listing.

We were 2 families (7 people + dog), we stayed for a week and we all felt at home.
1. Bathrooms were stocked with enough towels. There were enough bath tissues as well.
2. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of pans and pots. Clean refrigerator
3. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks.
We did not rent the boat originally, but Brent was kind enough to rent us the boat when we requested for it later.
Will stay again!

We had a wonderful time at this vacation house! The house is beautiful and clean, and was very comfortable. The kitchen was marvelous, and very well stocked. The quiet neighborhood was so relaxing, and everyone we met was very kind and friendly. We swam, fished, and enjoyed the boat, and would definitely come back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Our family’s first trip to Lake Norman, and this was a great location for 2 weeks of boating, floating and enjoying the lake. Having a pet-friendly option was perfect for our family, and the house had everything we needed. Thanks

Loved this place! Was great for our family get together. Lake was absolutely beautiful, the pontoon boat was a big hit!!! The house worked perfectly for us, it was clean, well stocked and decorated nicely, very comfy and cozy! Would definitely recommend this place. It was perfect!!!!!

We had plenty of room, comfortable beds, fun games and the option to rent the boat was a great deal! There were plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and table ware in the kitchen. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the balcony in the mornings and exploring the whole lake with the boat. Thanks, Brent!

The property was in a convenient location on the lake and to stores in the area. Being in a cove made it slightly quieter and more enjoyable in our opinion. We sat out on the dock every night and enjoyed a cocktail and conversation. The house was clean and as described. It was perfect for our family of five and two friends. Communication with the owner Brent was terrific. We would would stay at this property again!

We had a great time with our 5 kids!! We used the game room, the boat, fire pit, relaxed on the deck with great view of the lake! Swam, kayaked and more. Had great time and store just minutes away!!

We loved this vacation home. Peaceful location with nice views of the lake. Our teens enjoyed the pool table and arcade games when not on the lake. We were able to rent the pontoon boat directly from the property owner which saves a lot of time and hassle compared to renting from a local business. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Top notch rental!

This property is exactly as it is listed. We were a group of 9 plus dogs (approved ahead of time). Lots of room to be together in the same room playing games or to spread out between upstairs and down. The kitchen had plenty of everything to cook and serve with.
The lawn space in the back yard was nice or the dogs and also for the outside fireplace to make smores.
The dock had plenty of room to hang out on. You can choose to wade in the water or jump off the dock. We rented the pontoon boat (so nice it is right there to use) to tour the beautiful lake and found a couple of islands with beach areas to pull up to and hang out at for a couple of hours. We also used the kayaks available with this property.
This is a residential neighborhood and the neighbors were very kind. What appealed to me most about this property is it felt like a home to spend time in and not a rental.
Thanks Brent!

We loved the house but it wasn’t clean at the time of check in at 4:00. We came to the house again about 6:30. The cleaning people didn’t leave until after 8:00pm. I had three toddlers and 6 adults staying so it was difficult. The house after the cleaning staff was cleaner but I felt still dirty. There was a old an old avocado (I think) in the pantry, the kitchen cabinets were dirty. We just left food on the counters.

Nice lake property for family vacation
This was a lovely house on a great lake. We rented the boat and that was really amazing. This was a nice private property, nice game room downstairs that our older children enjoyed.

Lakeside Paradise
Looking for a quiet location to enjoy Lake Norman with great access to the lake itself? This is the perfect place. The house is clean and well maintained with friendly neighbors, a quiet neighborhood and a wonderful dock with the option to rent the owner's roomy pontoon boat. We spent tons of time on the lake and enjoyed every minute. Loved our stay!

Spacious property in a quiet, peaceful location
Property was spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Loved the game room downstairs. The deck overlooking the channel was great! Heat/cooling was a little tricky. If it was comfortable upstairs it was freezing downstairs. We figured out how to run the fan to keep temperatures comfortable in both places. Neighbors are friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

FANTASTIC GET AWAY!!!
Some of our family took a mini vaca for three nights with eight kids, ages ranging from 2-17. There was something to keep every child entertained, from the swing set to the game room, fishing, kayaks, swimming, firepit for smores, etc. I have rented multiple lake houses in the past and this home is by far the BEST of them all!!! With the option to rent the pontoon boat was a plus and a HUGE success!!! Kids had a Blast, as did I. There was plenty of space in every room you enter. Home is stocked with everything and more that you could possibly need during your stay. The owner Brent was simply Amazing and helpful also and his neighbors as well!!! I am so looking forward to going back this summer when the kids are out of school!!! Thanks for the memories Brent!!! I will cherish them forever!!!!

Great Rumpus Room
If you are looking to be on the water with lots to do right on the property, this home is a good choice.
The basement has a large TV, pool and air hockey table, as well as arcade games. It is a great hangout spot. You can even rent the host's pontoon boat (we did not do this, but it is available for an additional fee).
The upstairs is mainly comprised of three bedrooms, two baths, and a kitchen which ends up making the den area small, but the space in the basement makes up for that.
Planning on spending most of your time in the basement hangout spot could be a challenging slog for those who want to be in the mix but find shallow, steep stairs to be a challenge (for example, grandparents).
Although the general cleanliness of the house was adequate, the kitchen was less so. Some of the kitchen appliances (namely the wall and toaster ovens), where quite dirty.
The host is very responsive (which is great). Be aware that the host does not provide many of the amenities that you would find at most properties (such as toilet paper, shampoo, etc.). The host is very up front about these things so read and heed the provided guidance.
Finally, temperature regulation at the property is hard to achieve. We found it difficult to keep the folks upstairs and in the rumpus room comfortable without having downstairs bedroom guests roast.
Overall, we could definitely see how lake lovers would have a great time at this location.

Better than the pictures
We had a great stay on Lake Norman. The home is even better than the pictures! Kids loved the games! The kitchen could use more glasses, but if that’s my only feedback, you know it’s a great place!

A really nice location and place to take a break!

Fantastic Location for Family Reunion!
This was a perfect spot for our family reunion this year. The house had plenty of space and provided lots to do. Great nights of grilling and hanging out at the fire pit or playing pool or air hockey. The views are beautiful and the kayaks provided gave us an opportunity to get out on the water. We had such a fun relaxing few days, highly recommend . Thank you Brent for responding quickly to questions and providing easy check out.

Lake life!!
This was a fantastic vacation!! The house is great. It has everything you need and then some. The game area was great but luckily for us, the weather cooperated and we barely used it. The location of this house is perfect. Very quiet. Easy to access to a few grocery stores and anything else you would need without having to deal with a ton of traffic. Also a perfect location on the lake itself. Very peaceful here. Osprey and Herron have nests right across the cove. Perfect swimming area for the kids (and adults) right off the dock. Little to know traffic in the cove. Easy to tie off a tube to the pier and float your worries away. We also rented the boat for the week, which is a must. The boat allows you to enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Packing up the cooler and taking the family out on the lake for the day was amazing. Only a 5 minute boat ride to fuel up and not as pricy as I expected. Boat itself was in great shape and we had no issues. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Most days we were the only ones enjoying the cove. Coming from someone who spent many summers at the Jersey shore, lake life is where it’s at!! Don’t hesitate, book it now. You won’t regret it. We’ll certainly be coming back!

Summer Fun
Great location! Walking out to dock to pontoon boat every morning was heaven. Plenty of room in well equipped house. Lower level with pool table and video games is great on those rainy days. Fire pit is always great way to end the day looking out at the lake.

The house had everything we needed, except it would have been nice to have had an additional refrigerator in the gameroom area.

Piece of Paradise
What a wonderful vacation! My family of 6 (3 adults, 3 kids) just completed our stay 7/17 to 7/24/21 and had a fantastic trip! We have rented many lakefront properties at various lakes over the years, but this house was the best one yet! It was clean and spacious. The furnishings were clean, neat, and adequately fit our needs. The kitchen was well equipped which was great since we cooked most meals. The laundry room right off the kitchen made it easy to manage loads of laundry while making dinner in the evening. The two master bedroom suites accommodated the two sets of adults, while the bunk room with a set of bunk beds and twin bed allowed all the three kids to sleep together in the same room, which they loved. In the garage, we were surprised to find bicycles and helmets for both kids and adults. There were also a set of kayaks in the garage which we did use a few times while we stayed at the house. The views from the house were fantastic! You can see the lake from the kitchen, dining room, living room, basement rec room, and 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The large balcony upstairs spans the width of the house and has two sets of tables and chairs. We enjoyed many morning coffees here watching the neighbor's ducks swim around the cove. There is also a large patio downstairs at ground level which mirrors the upstairs balcony that contains additional chairs, a porch swing, and a grill. The basement rec room was a hit too - the kids enjoyed the air hockey table and watching movies.. The house itself is on a quiet cul-de-sac and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is very walkable and we enjoyed strolling around in the evening. The large trees in the back yard provided shade but the did not obstruct the AMAZING view. The owner, Brent, was correct in his property description. The house is situated on a very QUIET and PRIVATE cove. There were only 3 other houses with docks in the cove. The opposite bank in the cove was wooded, with no other houses or docks. It was so private, it felt like YOUR own personal lake. We swam most days at the cove around the dock. The only boat traffic in the cove were neighbors on occasion. The lake water temperature was perfect! The large, sandy, shallow area around the dock was unbeatable and unlike any other house I saw. It allowed the little ones to play and swim. The water was so warm too in the shallow. We rented the boat the owner offered with the property. I highly recommend renting the boat.

Just like the pictures!
We loved our two week stay at this beautiful vacation home. The house looks just like the pictures. The kitchen was well laid out and had everything we needed. The house had plenty of space for our family and our friends who visited for part of the stay. The game room was enjoyed by everyone! Check in was easy, the owner was very responsive to all my questions, and the neighbors were very friendly. Our favorite part of the trip was the pontoon boat. The lake is huge and the water is beautiful. We had so much fun taking the boat to North Harbor Club and Hello Sailer. We bought a tube and the kids had a blast!! They also loved to swim in the cove which was nice and quiet. The house was very clean. My one recommendation would be to bring your own pillows. This will be a spot we will want to return to! Thank you for great summer memories.

Peaceful Retreat on the Lake
My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Brent's place on the Lake. Was a very smooth process to book online for both the home and the Pontoon boat rental (A MUST!). Communication with Brent was perfect - he was quick to reply to any online messages and text messages. You can tell he takes great pride in the home and ensuring guests have a positive experience. The home itself is perfect! Clean, great layout of the bedrooms and the basement game room was perfect. Pool table, air hockey and arcade games - all put to good use while we were there. We loved bringing the dogs with us and sitting on the deck drinking our morning coffee. The home's unique position on the inlet was fantastic. My husband and I brought some pool floats and were able to relax right on the water in our rafts all morning and sit on the dock reading books and drinking coffee. We got to see the Blue Heron and Osprey and all other wildlife including ducks and geese go about their daily routines. We opted for the pontoon boat rental and I highly suggest adding this to your stay. There was nothing better than just walking down to the dock and starting the boat up and exploring all that Lake Norman has to offer. The Marina for gas refill was right around the corner and could not have been easier. The Publix grocery store and some restaurants are within 3 miles making it super convenient to "run out" for things you may have forgotten or need. The neighborhood itself was quiet and the neighbors we met were all super nice. Enjoyed some long walks early in the morning to explore the neighborhood and other areas. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this is right up there at the top. Highly recommend this home and look forward to returning again in the near future!

Peaceful area
We rent lake vacation homes at least once per year and this is one of the top 2 rentals we've stayed at. It is a quality built home, the furniture is very nice, the street the home is located on is THE nicest street based on the quality of the homes. We also rented the owners pontoon boat and it is a very clean and nice boat. We met the neighbors on both sides of us and both were very friendly. I am a picky person and I can honestly say I had no issues with anything in this house. Would stay here again.

Great for the grandkids!
This was a family vacation for five adults and three grandkids ages 5 and two ten year olds. The kids love to fish and kayak and were so excited to see the dock and kayaks. They also loved the large game room with a pool table, air hockey and two arcade games. The space accommodated all of us. The only thing I would suggest is to have one more larger bed (even a full size) to better accommodate The five adults. We all had a great time, though!
