Staff was wonderful & there were more amenities than we thought
The walk to The Georgia Theater was all uphill, but the location was great. Walking downhill after the concert

Clean, good location
$18 PER DAY for VALET PARKING in Athens. The hotel price is not cheap in the area, the parking should have been included. Daily parking in and out, including tips, easily exceeded $30 for parking.

The rooms were very spacious and I loved the layout with a nice kitchen/sitting area and a private bedroom. Staff were pleasant. There were a good variety of breakfast items in the morning; I especially appreciated the hard boiled eggs.
It would have been nice to have an early breakfast option. My husband was running a marathon in the morning and breakfast didn't start until 7; after he needed to leave to get to the start line. Otherwise it was a pleasant place to stay in a great location.

Spacious and comfortable rooms were decorated nicely with a UGA theme. Bar and game room were a fun place to hang out for adults and kids. The outdoor patio was a great space for sitting and talking or having a drink. Staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The location made walking anywhere within Athens and to campus a breeze.
We requested for our room to be cleaned more than once. On a three night stay room was never touched, we were never given fresh towels and we ran out of toilet paper. I was able to get towels and toilet paper from the desk, but considering we had specifically requested cleaning, I don’t think that’s something I should have had to handle.

location was great: walkable to downtown restaurants and north campus, but not too close where noise was an issue. Super friendly staff and valet was very fast getting car when I needed it.
location and my kids loved the shuffleboard table in the bar area (also pool table and lots of games available)

Right off, as we entered parking garage, just learn, valet only and $18/night parking fee. This was not information provided during reservation. We talked to Manager about this and he was completely unsympathetic and would only say, that if we hadn’t booked through 3rd party vendor (aka Booking/com) that he might have been able to do something about it. This made no sense to us, it was all very aggravating but he didn’t have any solution but to send us to parking garage across the street, lousy customer service. At least off property parking across street was only $8! The bed was supposed to be queen and if it was, it was a very small queen in small room, very stuffy and mattress worn in middle. Very noisy guests for hours that no one seemed to care about. Asked for extra pillow and was brought a pillow with no case 😏 The breakfast was just gross, at least they had some fruit.

I was locked out of the hotel I never even got to stay I was forced to reserve another room at a hotel that was almost twice as much because of the availability and location and the fact that they were not let me in even though I had a reservation.
I mean, I was discriminated upon because I am trans . I was not given the opportunity to even get out of the rain. It was raining it was cold. I felt a little demeaned, and just totally disrespected.

The room was spacious and well apportioned. It was clean and very comfortable. It was walking distance from the Classic Center, which was very convenient based on limited parking at the Classic Center.

location and staff were amazing.
We had a suite since we had 3 staying in our room. No extra linens or pillows already in the room for the pull out sofa bed- had to call for them which the response time was amazing but the hotel apparently had limited supply- Would have been better for us to have been offered a room with two queens/double vs the king suite in this matter.

great location
we went to check in at 3:45. we knew we were early. the hotel lobby was full of people with their belongings. check in was delayed until 5. we left and came back. check in still delayed. did not check in until 7pm. gave us a queen room instead of a king room. the room was not fully cleaned. bed was made up. towels had stains. no trash can liners. crumbs on floor.

Hotel seemed clean except for dirty dishes left in dishwasher in kitchenette.
Bar/game room provided entertainment.
Location was convenient to everything we planned to do during our stay.
Small details such as towel hook on back of bathroom door dangling and curtain in bedroom missing a hook, which caused it to not close all the way, as well as damage at bottom of bathroom door gave the appearance that staff doesn’t pay attention to the details of what makes a room look finished and ready for guests.
Dishes were left dirty In dishwasher, even though the sticker on the outside of the dishwasher states that dishes have been left clean and ready to use.
Shower walls had some sort of yellow substance on them. I’m not sure if it was some sort of body fluid or shampoo/conditioner product, but the shower walls had definitely not been cleaned.
We booked a room with 2 queen beds plus a sleeper sofa, and were given a room with 1 king bed plus a sleeper sofa. We were told that all 2 Queen rooms were unavailable, and we were given a “comparable” room based on availability. This caused an inconvenient sleeping situation for our party.
I wasn’t aware ahead of time that parking at the hotel was valet only. Its not a problem, but knowing ahead of time would have been helpful.
Upstairs neighbors were stomping and pacing the floor until after 3:00am.
Smells of “smoke” and incense from neighbors down the hall made us question whether it was recreational smoke or a fire in the building.
What I can only assume was drag racing outside and emergency sirens were hard to sleep through.
Front desk staff generally seemed like they were disinterested in providing service or assistance to guests.
