This house is perfect for family vacations with its spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, and convenient location. Highly recommended!
5.0
This house was perfect for our adult family of 7 yearly vacation. Plenty of beds and rooms for us all to have our own space and a great location. We have stayed at many rentals and this one by far was the best stocked one. From kitchen ware to linens and towels, more than enough and a great variety. Our only complaint about the kitchen items is that the coffee pot had a crack in it and weren’t able to use it. Owner quickly ordered a new one from Amazon but unfortunately it didn’t arrive until our 2nd to last day. All of us being coffee drinkers made this a bummer but we also got to visit some of the cute local coffee shops that we probably wouldn’t have if the coffee pot was in working order. Definitely not a deal breaker, just a minor inconvenience.
Overall our stay was great and one of our best family vacations yet. Highly recommend this home.

It was my fault to not recognizing there was no AC. However, it was much needed in June as the house was steady at 76 during the day

We were in the Tahoe area for a family reunion. This house was a very nice house to relax and unwind. Great for each person to have a comfortable bed to sleep in. It was very convenient with all the cooking spices and pantry goods. Also having laundry soap was very helpful. We really enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here with some friends. The property was clean and the owner Matt was easy to reach. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and a short Uber ride to bars/restaurants.

Very, very good stay. Excellent property. Attentive and communicative host. Would be happy to stay again.

Beautiful house, very clean, well stocked. Our group was two families with 4 teenagers combined. It was a great size for our group with comfortable common space as well as enough bedroom space for everyone to have privacy. It was great to have 3 bathrooms! Nice to have hot tub after ski days!

Stayed for 3 night's and the house exceeded our expectations, everything listed was accurate. Close to Stateline, neighbors we're very friendly, window views where amazing when looking out at the snow, and everything we needed was there including bbq, hot tub, and pool table to make for a perfect family vacation. I would highly recommend starting here!

Loved this home. Perfect for a ski trip and warm stay.

Great location, great property, host was very communicative

The property is fantastic for a group stay for a long weekend at South Lake Tahoe. There is a great open space upstairs for gathering where the kitchen, dining and living area all open up - and a balcony if the weather is nice. The downstairs is a fun younger hangout with the pool table. The bedrooms downstairs which sleep ~6 are definitely more for kids than adults IE twins and bunk beds. It was great to be able to park the cars in the garage during the cold winter days.
It did feel like we couldn’t fully enjoy or relax with all the sign postings and strict rules to abide by. We were constantly in question if we were allowed to do, touch or use something in fear of breaking a rule and being charged for it

Property was wonderful for our young family’s first snow trip. Looking forward to future visits.

We celebrated Thanksgiving here.
There was plenty of room for the our family. We had 7 adults 3 kids and 1 toddler. The kitchen had everything we needed to host Thanksgiving. The host was very responsive to my texts/emails prior to our arrival. I didn’t text our host after arrival.
The property was clean, had lots of pillows and blankets and more than enough supplies on hand.
It lacked bath towels though. There are 10 bath towels and a few towels for the spa. So bring extra towels if you’re using the home at full capacity.
The King and Queen Bed were very comfortable.
The twins beds weren’t that comfortable for our adult children. But would be fine for younger children.
The area and location are nice.
The house could use a little maintenance. Like some light bulbs were out and one in the kitchen was flickering. The wine fridge didn’t work. The drain in the upstairs hall shower was a little slow. We didn’t use the fireplace because we couldn’t get the controls to work and we were afraid of changing the wrong settings so we just skipped using that feature. I didn’t notify the owner of these issues because they were pretty minor things.
Lots of rules everywhere. Which is good and bad… Good because we’d forget what we could touch and what we couldn’t touch.
But some were excessive like don’t lean on the oven/cabinet door. But maybe some people need that?!
Overall a nice and comfort house. We’d definitely stay here again.

House was clean, comfortable, fully stocked kitchen and in good location. No issues other that the toilet on the first floor leak so was not used. Notified Matt, but he could not find plumber to fix it. Also, my tall friends who slept downstairs found the beds a bit small.

The owner is the best! He kept in touch and was kind and his responsiveness was outstanding. The house felt like home, my family and I had the best time ever. Thank you Mr. Fischer for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home - my family and I are grateful!

The house is very comfortable, we stayed 3 nights with 2 families, 6 adults and 2 children.
The beds are wonderful and everything was beautiful and smelled fresh and clean, the bathrooms were clean and organized. In the dining room there is a giant table that accommodated all of us. The kitchen is complete, with all silverware and dinnerware of excellent quality. The Jacuzzi is wonderful, the pool table too, we really enjoyed it. Everything in the house was complete and easily accessible, the cleanliness was excellent. (Thank you for housekeeper)
We had a wonderful experience and we want to give 5 stars for everything.
The owner is friendly and send us all instructions quickly.
And we are so grateful for this time

Would definitely stay here again! Beautiful home located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and short drive to downtown. We had six adults and two small children and had everything we needed including plenty of room for all of us. Enclosed backyard was so convenient and the hot tub was spotless. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

Great property in a great location. Matt was an excellent host and always responsive to any questions we had. 4 stars only because wifi was very unreliable, but Matt mentioned he was going to replace the router/modem based on our feedback so it shouldnt be an issue for future guests.

My and my guest enjoyed the stay.

Big house that has all the extra accommodations. Convenient location to state line. I definitely recommend this house for your next visit. The only note I would add is that there are a lot of stairs. Not good for small kids or if you have any limited mobility. Really great place otherwise!
2.0
I liked the spot, but the owner will threaten to charge you money for any imaginable mistake (changing temp, changing radio/speakers, hot tub too late, hot tub too early, etc.). He was so overbearing about all the reasons he will charge me that I wasn't able to relax while I was staying at the home. There are probably 20 signs throughout the home threatening to keep your deposit.
For example, the hot tub had a bunch blue pieces floating around in it (gross) and I had to stress that he would think this was caused by me bc I didn't take photo evidence.
The spot is nice but the experience was poor.

Location was perfect for our visit to South Lake Tahoe. We wanted a home/cabin environment for 4 adults to relax in the evening yet still close enough to either cab/drive to local restaurants or activities. The home was clean, perfectly spacious, and had ample amentias for our stay.

Beautiful, clean house! We had a great stay! Owner was very responsive and made sure we were happy and taken care of. Loved the spacious master bedroom and the baby gates were a huge plus and helped keep our little ones safe from the stairs. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Backyard was FULL of snow and the kids loved it. Would definitely stay again!

House was very nice with ample accommodations. Instructions for using the tv system in the family room are a little difficult to follow.

Beautiful open concept was perfect for our family to enjoy meals, games & guitar-playing all together. Very well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was amazing and perfect after a day of skiing! Only a 10-minute drive to the resort made for more fun time on the mountain.
Beds were super comfortable. Owner response always prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this home!

The house was comfortable, clean, spacious and had all the amenities including the jacuzzi, which was great! The kitchen was well equipped even including spices, so it was easy to make a tasty meal. We came on a weekend of snow storms, so really appreciated that there were two spots in the garage. Pool table was fun for the teens.
