Welcome to Hello Folly at Turtle Bay! This 3 BD/ 3 BA townhome is in a riverfront community that offers the best of both worlds, from a communal swimming pool and fishing pier to a 10-minute walk (3 min golf cart ride) to the beach! It has recently been updated with all new furniture and high-quality mattresses. The main area offers an open concept kitchen/dining area and living room that leads to a screened in porch with glimpses of the river. The main bedroom is located upstairs and opens to a private deck. Each of 3 bedrooms have access to their own private bathroom and each provide plenty of storage space.
Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Loved this property! Located in a quiet neighborhood and an easy 12 minute walk to the beach! The community pool wasn’t the cleanest but it wasn’t an inconvenience to my family since we didn’t use the pool. Having a washer and dryer was a major bonus and they leave a few laundry detergent pods as a courtesy. The puzzle in the house is missing 9 pieces but overall this is a great place for a family vacation.
An important note- check out consists of loading and running the dishwasher, stripping all bed linens, and taking out all the trash.

This was a perfect vacation escape! The property was available early for us and it was so nice of the manager to text us to let us know without us asking. Our first impression was how comfortable and clean this rental was. The beds were very comfortable! The pool was a little smaller than we thought but still a nice perk. The private dock was one of our favorite places to walk out on and see all the little crabs! We will definitely return if we are back in the area!

Not the greatest views but put us close to where family was staying. Safe neighborhood and close to shops and restaurants. Very clean, couple of the bedrooms were smaller than pictures portrayed. Loved the 3 bathrooms, which was great for us 5 ladies getting ready for my son's wedding and get togethers. I don't think Vrbo should charge a fee and then expect the client to do half the house cleaning or more, which is an extremely inconvenience when you are on vacation.

The property was located perfectly. The fishing pier was great! Within walking distance of the main strip! Had a blast and can’t wait to go again.

This condo was the perfect spot for our 4 day trip to Folly with 5 teenage boys. Even with a rain day, the boys were entertained. It was close to Center Street and the beach. The boys loved the dock. Definitely recommend!!

We came in for a bachelorette party and had the BEST time!! The place was so beautiful and spacious and close to everything!! We highly recommend any group to come stay here!

This condo was very nice and clean and perfect for our girls getaway. Its an easy to walk to restaurants and hangouts and short walk or bike ride to the beach. If your walking you will need a beach wagon. Has a nice pool area and dock access to get to the water way and watch a sunset.

This home was great & described very well! It's walkable to the beach (~10-15 minutes depending on your speed & what you're carrying), the neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and we very much enjoyed pool and dock access. The inside is spacious with a nice kitchen & common areas. Our only issue was with the grill which didn't work as described and caused some trouble, but the rental company was incredibly responsive & kind about resolving the issue. We felt taken care of & would recommend to a friend!

The condo was as expected upon arrival with the exception of the laundry room door being off track. We sent a text message regarding the issue and received a prompt response. The issue wasn’t urgent but was fixed quickly. The repairman also replaced a couple lightbulbs when he was there to fix the door. He was very nice and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay and seemed to have plenty of room for our group. We will definitely consider this property in the future.

Great location and the entire island is easily accessible from this property. Property was well maintained and very quiet. Covered parking under the unit was nice amenity especially in the summertime. Only comment would be that the appliances and plumbing fixtures need to be updated, but they all worked as intended.

Our stay at Folly Beach - Turtle Bay was fantastic! Great accommodations and great location. We especially enjoyed evenings on the private boat dock! We are already planning our return trip.

Overall we had a great time during our stay here in folly beach. The place was very clean and comfortable. Check in/check out was very easy and convenient and pretty much everything you need is provided for your stay. Management company very responsive and helpful. We rented a golf cart from Charleston golf cart rental to make our trips to beach easier as it is pretty good walk to the beach/restaurants. Our only complaint would be not about the rental in general, but the neighborhood and neighbors. Apparently most people staying there are actual owners and do not seem to care for visitors staying in their area. They were less than friendly and actually pretty rude and were gawking at us from the moment we pulled in. We were very aware of the noise ordinance and tried to be respectful to everyone but I felt like I was constantly trying to keep my kids quiet even when in pool in fear that we may possibly disturb someone. I did not like having to be like that on vacation personally. That is why 3 stars for neighborhood. Pool is very small but every time we got in we were the only people out there. They have a very nice fishing pier which you can use for which was a plus for us. No extra parking. Lots of stairs.

First time at Folly
This was our family's first visit to Folly. Super cute little town with a very relaxing and unpretentious vibe. The townhouse was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and was even a very manageable stroll to the beach access point. (We had teens and limited gear so we didn't end up renting a golf cart, but if you had little ones and/or lots of gear to transport, you may want to consider getting one.) The rental was clean, included a good starter supply of cleaning and paper products, and the kitchen was well-equipped for all our cooking needs. The beds and furniture were comfy and there was plenty of space for the five of us. Checking in and out was easy, and the property manager was responsive. The only minor complaint would be that the photos in the listing were taken from very specific and favorable vantage points, and being unfamiliar with the area we did not realize that this complex is nestled amid some year-round apartment residences. Despite some of the nearby properties being a bit rundown, the Turtle Bay complex itself was quiet and felt safe. Also, this particular unit does not offer a "river view" - unless you are standing in a particular spot on the top deck (but that also houses the air conditioner so it is not the most relaxing place to sit as it kicks off and on.) Overall we were happy to spend a week together here and would consider returning.

Clean and tidy. Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend girls trip. Property is just across the bridge, so easy and quick access to Charleston. Bring your bikes and it's a quick jaunt to the beach. This unit itself does not overlook turtle Bay persay, but it is in a quiet cul-de-sac and we felt very safe.
