This was a beautiful home with all the amenities anyone could ask for. Perfect location for many tourist activities and the Miata rally at Fontana Village.

We had a wonderful time. Property is beautiful, cabin was clean and cozy. The cabin was even better equipped then what we had hoped and had all the basics covered. Only complaints were that the down stairs bedroom's bed was a little more firm then what I am used too, and lacks any clothing storage. For us, those were minor issues and will definitely be staying here again! Overall one of the best vacation rental experiences I have ever had.

We had a fantastic stay. My 2 sons and myself came up to ride the mountain roads. We had everything we could have ever wanted and or needed. The house was clean, nicely decorated. We will definitely stay there again.

Place was great and the hosts were nothing but spectacular. Recommend 100%.

My family had an amazing 2 day stay at this lovely cabin. The place had all the amenities you could imagine! The weather was wonderful. Coming from central Florida you couldn't even think about dining outdoors in the evening. To top it off the view and landscape was beautiful! We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The owners are great hosts! We stayed here in 2019 on one of our trips to the Smokies. When the cabins we usually stayed in was sold at the end of 2023, we looked on VRBO to see if this house was still renting out and it was! We called the hosts and got all our dates booked for our 3 trips this year. We absolutely love their cozy cottage! It’s great for motorcycle trips or having to trailer your bikes there is ample parking/unloading area to work with. Already looking forward to the next 2 trips!

A quiet, comfortable house, in a beautiful mountain setting. The house is clean, with the air fresh from the excellent air conditioning. We will definitely return again!

What a perfect getaway! All the comforts of home AND close to the lake! Who could ask for anything more?
Clean, well stocked, and very accessible. We will definitely stay there again.
Thanks to the hosts for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

The cabin was clean and well stocked with every pan and utensils you need to cook a meal. Tons of spices if you don’t bring your own. Charcoal grill was a nice added touch. It was nice to be able to do a load of laundry, and even nicer to have to wash dishes in the dishwasher instead of by hand.
Make sure you print out directions to the cabin, there is no cell service that high in the mountains. It was nice to have wifi, so we were able to use our phones for calls and text after we arrived. Hosts are quick to respond to any questions you might have.
Be careful coming and going because the neighbors dogs like to chase your car and try to get in front of your car, they must think they have nine lives.

The cabin was great. Neighbor was awesome. The only thing i wish i knew was that the back bedroom didnt have a door. It wasnt a deal breaker, but with three couples kind of made it odd. . Otherwise i still give it a 5 star.

Clean and the most well stocked cabin we’ve ever booked. The drive was ok, however, please watch out for the neighbors tire chasers.

Every detail was thought of, made our vacation easy and relaxing! Top 2 VRBO’s we have ever stayed at!

If we had known that getting to this property involved traveling on a dangerous two lane road and dark back roads, we ever would have booked here. It is in the middle of no where and not very private. There is nothing in this town except a Walgreens, Wendys and a supermarket. You have to travel a minimum of 30 minutes to get any where.
The owner hammers you with rules and demands you replace everything you use. In all the Vrbo residences we have stayed in, not one has ever made that request. What are we paying for? We brought all of our own supplies.
This whole experience made the stay very unwelcoming. We will never stay at this property again. We do not recommend it at all.

We loved this place, peaceful, great Mountain View. Served two couples well. Had a lot of amenities. In the middle of a lot of places. Would definitely return.

Although we weren’t there a lot during the day it was a very comfortable place to come back to in the evening. It had everything you could possibly need. We look forward to coming back next year.

This is our fourth year at the London Cabin. We absolutely love the area and how close it is to the NOC. House is always kept so clean and perfect for a family of 3. We always live our stay here and can’t wait to be back in 2024 :)

I came to the area for a short trout fishing trip. I have stayed at the London’s Mountain House before. I found everything to be clean and well stocked. I wish my stay had been longer so that I could have enjoyed the fire pit and surrounding location a bit longer.

Very peaceful location once you get past the neighbors guard dog. Small dog, no real threat.
Enjoyed the home and its surroundings.

4 of us stayed in this wonderful cabin for 5 nights. From the moment you walk in you are at home. The attention to detail is astonishing and way above anything I even hoped for. The beds are very comfortable. No creature comfort went unthought of. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at this property was excellent. The photos on the listing don’t do it justice. It’s a tiny, but oh so cozy place to stay. It’s bigger than the photos make you believe. I will recommend this retreat to anybody.

The cabin was just as advertised. The owners make sure all the comforts of home are available and then some. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a very beautiful ride up from central Florida, a little chilly and typical traffic. We had never been to North Carolina but have been to north Georgia, although only in the summer time. I have to say, I wasn’t prepared for how gorgeous a snow covered mountainside is. Pictures just do not do it justice! My children were super excited to just see snow, let alone touch and throw it at eachother! Other than groceries (which we picked up en route at the Ingles in Robbinsville), the cabin had absolutely everything we needed to relax for the weekend. It was very clean and well put together with nice short and long range views through the leaveless trees. The silence at night was exactly what we were looking for, 10/10, will recommend a stay here!

Remote, restful and relaxing. The cabin and amenities were great. Beautiful views in every direction!

We really enjoyed our stay, the property location was very peaceful and we could see the national park from the back porch. Lots of room to spread out, even with 2 dogs! The kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a nice time staying here, it was easy to get to and checking in was simple. It was central to several locations we had our eyes on so day trips for scenic drives/hiking were perfect from here. The back porch area is really nice and when the clouds clear the view is perfect. Really nice quiet area. The cabin had everything we needed. It may not be the best cabin for young kids because there's no real way to block the stairs, but climbing them a thousand times made a fun tiring game for us all. It was definitely a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Al and Heidi are great. Everything worked wonderful. The house is near others but also private. Pretty Mountain View from back porch situated between Fontana lake, lake Santeetlah and close to Cherohala parkway. Very clean and necessities are there. We enjoyed it a lot

It’s a beautiful cabin tucked away on a super quite road. We could see the fall leaves changing from the yard. Watching the sun come up in the morning was beautiful. Close enough to everything we wanted to see. We cooked every meal there but 1 nice stocked kitchen. We will rent it again next year that is how pleased we were staying there.

Great place! living room is super comfy, place was very clean, and even well stocked with plenty of condiments, seasonings, and even hot chocolate!
gas fire place was a perfect touch for us, plenty of parking and love the deck in the mornings that overlook the valley and mountains.
Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice cabin just a little drive for us to travel to Tennessee

We all enjoyed the time we spent at the cabin , it was clean and in very good shape . There was plenty of room for everybody in the house and there was plenty of room for parking our three trucks and trailers . There was only one thing and that was the stairs are a little steep for older people , but we worked around it and everyone enjoyed their stay .

We had an amazing time. Well lit and had lights on when we got there. Have a selection of movies, books, games and TV to watch and do. Of course we weren't in there much cause we were out doing stuff but when we first got there it was nice to relax from the trip and enjoy those things.
