This was a very cute property, it reminded me very much of my grandparents home that was nestled amongst the trees. The property managers were very responsive when we were looking for items in the cabin. There were ample items to keep us comfortable with the changing weather such as, 2 standing fans, extra blankets and extra towels. The stove sometimes has a hard time igniting but they do provide an electric lighter. If you or a member of your party have mobility difficulties just be aware that there is a steep and shallow staircase you will need to climb to get into the cabin. There is one AC in the back bedroom, we only needed it for a couple of nights though. You can use fans to help circulate the cold air from one room to another. My one true complaint was that there were many bugs in the bedroom at the back of the cabin. As I was going to bed I would see beetles crawling under the bed, and small insects crawling across the ceiling, the corners of the bedroom and bathroom needed to be dusted free of cobwebs with dying flies in them, and I would wake up with mosquito bites from time to time. You are in a wooded area however, some insects are to be expected. Now, if you use the bedroom at the front of the house, I was assured by my mother and sister that they had no issues.

The property was clean and centrally located for Door County. The area was quiet and the property met expectations.

Beautiful place to stay. Centrally located, which was a plus.

I didn't get a chance to write more in the guestbook since I saw it as we were leaving.
what a great place to stay! We were able to keep windows open since we were on the second floor. The rain was peaceful, the fire pit was awesome. The best was being able to walk into Peninsula State Park from the property.
Thank you for being great hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

My wife and spent 4 nights at The Carriage House, and had a great visit to Door County.
Very clean (spotless windows). Only an A/C window unit in one of the rooms, but that didn’t matter. We liked having the windows open and got a nice cross breeze. House is shaded in the trees so it didn’t get too hot during the day and we weren’t there during the day anyway. Weather was great and was cool in the evenings.
Great location between Fish Creek and Ephraim. Conviently close to the back entrance to Pennisula State Park, so we drove into Fish Creek for breakfast at Julie’s, unloaded our bikes and biked all the way through the park’s roads, stopped off at the house for lunch and then rode back to our car in Fish Creek. Easy little loop!
The coffee maker wasn’t working properly, so we texted the hosts before we left the first morning and a new one was waiting for us at the door when we came back in the afternoon. 👏👍
This is a 2-bed, 1-bath unit on the second floor of the house. Bottom of house is used for garage and storage, so no one below you. It, along with other cottages, is located right behind the hosts’ house. We had no issues with noise.

It was great but ran out of toilet paper so that sucked. But other wise it was nice!

Great location between Epharim and Fish Creek, unit was very clean and well stocked. Fire pit is private away from other units on site.

The location was perfect for us! It was in an area set off the busy (but quiet) main roadway. I loved that it was so close to all the Villages in Door County. Easy in and out and we never heard any of the others staying in neighboring houses. We plan to visit next year and stay in Park Pace Cottages again.

The cottage is in a great location for everything in Door County! The residence was clean and had everything we needed. Tucked away in the trees makes it very relaxing.

We loved the location - easy driving distance to lots of fun stuff, but in a quiet, woodsy area. The cottage had everything we needed and we were very happy there!

Nice place. Only issue was the cushions on the sofas were pretty soft so not very supportive. Bed was comfortable and the unit was well stocked and nicely decorated. The manager was ver responsive and a delight.

Perfect stay
This spot was perfect-great location, well stocked with supplies, comfortable bed and living room furniture-a great “in the woods” feel!
Communication with our host was quick and easy. Just note that this is an upstairs living space. We plan to stay on our next trip to Door Co.

This property is right next to the Peninsula state park golf course so it was very easy to go to the state park for early morning and sunset views. This unit is on the second floor with no one on the first floor so it gave a sense of privacy. Also the view of the trees from up there was pretty. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, and my mom. Comfortable bedding and couches. The owners were genuine and accommodating.
I could not rate it as a five as we were disappointed that the unit was musty. Also, we were not able to log onto their Wi-Fi. Poor network connection there.
To be clear, the owners did supply us with a dehumidifier to help with the musty smell.

My husband and I spent a week here while celebrating our anniversary and his birthday. Cottage was spacious with comfortable furniture and beds. Lots of drawer and closet space, including coat closets and built-in storage. Kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, gadgets and everything you might need to cook and prep food. Outdoor grill, fire pit, picnic table and Adirondack chairs are an added plus. We could ride bikes right off the property into Peninsula State Park. 5 minute drive to Fish Creek and Ephraim. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for exploring Door County
My wife and two young children stayed in the Carriage House over 4th of July weekend and had a great time in Door County. The location is fantastic for both getting anywhere within Door County within 30 minutes, as well as exploring the awesome Peninsula State Park by bike or otherwise. The House itself served our needs just fine, and the owners were very friendly, accessible and accommodating, and good communicators. The only things to keep an eye out for if they're important to you are 1) it does not have a bath tub. It's not like it was misadvertised; we just forgot to notice it didn't. Made bathing our little ones a little more challenging. And 2) if it's abnormally hot in Door County, which it was when we were there, there's only one A/C unit in the living room and it was difficult to keep the bedrooms as cool as we're used to at night. I think it's pretty rare to be 85+ in Door County, without much cool off at night, but we were fortunate enough to be there when it was so it was kind of warm in the bedrooms. Otherwise, the house had everything we needed, was well maintained, the grounds were adorable and we had a really great time. We'd come back again!

Excellent location to access the town and trails. Very clean place and it is well run. Met the owners/managers and they are very good people. Best part to me was it was quiet and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Will stay again!

We received a confirmation via e-mail for a unit that was occupied when we arrived. We could not reach the owner for a while to straighten things out. We finally got her, and it all worked out. However, much unneeded angst for no reason. Why would I received a confirmation for a unit that was not the one we rented? The mixup also involved our needlessly bothering the innocent tenants who had rented the unit.

Quaint cottage . Great location.
A friend and I stayed at the cottage for a few nights. It was clean and well furnished. We each had a nice bedroom and shared a bath. Good parking. Cozy places to have cocktails outside and a nice firepit for evening relaxing.
Great central location to explore lovely Door County. Caretakers on property in the next house was helpful.
