About this chalet rental
Chalet Les Tissourds is a wonderful Maison de Pays that has been beautifully restored and refurbished, a luxury self-catered chalet in a class of its own. Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 5 - 10 minute stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants. Situated in a quiet road there are wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley.
A modern design within a traditional setting, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new. The interior is impressive, with the hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout - Contemporary Chamonix Chic.
On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, plus a boot room with boot warmers. There is also an extra sitting room (with a single bed if required) and office area. Take a plunge in the hot tub, outside on the decking with fabulous views of Mont Blanc. On the lower ground floor there is a cosy snug with sofas, beanbags and a 130cm screen, there you can chill out with some DVDs. Next door is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Please note that due to our licensing and insurance arrangements only our trained staff may work at the chalet.
'This is an amazing chalet, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was incredibly peaceful, but a short walk right into the heart of Chamonix (with a wonderful boulangerie only a few minutes away). The views of the mountains on all sides are stunning! And the chalet could not have been more perfectly outfitted. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and plentiful! The kitchen is well-stocked, both with plans, pots, etc., but also thoughtful staples (granola, spices, oil, pasta, etc). The caretakers left us a fresh bottle of milk and jam in the fridge when we arrived! And they had a perfect pack n’ play, with a real crib mattress, set up for our toddler upon arrival. We could not have been happier, it is a wonderful home and a perfect launch pad for all of Chamonix’s adventures.' HG June 2024

It was well-appointed with top-notch amenities and located conveniently close to ski slopes and town. The staff's warm hospitality made our experience truly special. Charming chalet, nice indoor space and garden, nice beds. Great bakery near by, perfect for walking or cycling into the restaurants/shops and fab activities in Chamonix.
We really enjoyed our stay here.
Family of four with two kids (8 & 11).
It was a shame we couldn’t open the Velux window in the top bedroom as it was so warm.

We could not imagine a better place to spend a week in Chamonix. From the initial follow-up to help us reserve the house, to the conceirge-level service assisting in making reservations for events and dinners, to the personal touches at every turn, Chalet Les Tissourds is an inviting refuge from your daily life. Plus, the views from every vantage point, in particular the hot tub, are outstanding. Overall, a highly memorable experience made exceptional by the many welcoming hands who make up the Collineige team. A special thanks to William and Colleen for their accommodations and conversations! Thank you.

Chalet Tissourds is a spacious and extremely comfortable chalet, finished to exacting standards. The rooms are all well appointed with excellent bathroom facilities and the living area is lovely with a roaring open fire. There’s loads of room for coats and kit in the boat room and there’s even an office area should you need to get away quietly. That’s not to even mention the hottub with a mountain view which is a luxury after a hard day’s ski.

Great place to spend time with the family. Super clean and comfortable. Beds and linens were great. Hot tub was a pleasure. Kitchen has everything needed. 10 minute walk from main bus station and 15 minutes to downtown dinning and shopping. Thanks for sharing the Chalet with us!

Tissourds is a great, well maintained property close to everything in Chamonix. It was a perfect spot for our three-generation group of six, and we really appreciated the responsiveness of the Colliniege team.

Our travel plans were interrupted in Chamonix and with all of the hotels at full capacity, we had to quickly find lodging for 4 nights. Ann-Marie was very quick to respond to my inquiry, answered all of my questions, and quickly gave me an approval to book. After booking, there was wonderful communication about our check-in and our local contact Marie who would meet us at the property. They allowed us to store our bags until the chateau was cleaned and the check-in process was seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed the chateau which was beautiful and perfect for our group of travelers. The views of Mont Blanc from the hot tubs are magnificent! Marie checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property. We will certainly book again in the future.
