About this villa rental
Villa Jucanya 5, is part of "Villas Jucanya", a complex of 5 Villas located in front of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, "LAGO DE ATITLAN", 15 minutes from the center of Panajachel (walking) and 5 min by car. Our Manager Ana Lynch, can call you a TukTuk (three wheels taxi) they charge between Q 5.00 (GQT) and Q 10.00 (GQT) depending on time.
Lake Atitlan t is a place to rest with family or friends, with a big beautiful garden, 30 meters distance from the lake shore and surrounded by 3 volcanoes, mountains and lots of vegetation.
The House is located in a residential area in the village of Panajachel, very close to everything. It is very easily reached by car or bus. In the village of Panajachel, there are many typical shops, international restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets and everything you need to enjoy an excellent holiday or vacation.
Near the village of Panajachel, there are many other villages to know around the lake, which can be visited by boat, which can be taken in front of Casa Jucanya. It is worth mentioning that the towns around the lake have the names of some of Jesus' apostles (San Pedro, San Lucas, Santiago).
The busiest and most built-up lakeside settlement, Panajachel ('Pana' to pretty much the entire country) has developed haphazardly and, some say, in a less-than-beautiful way. Strolling the main street, Calle Santander, crammed with cybercafes, travel agencies, handicraft hawkers and rowdy bars, dodging noisome tuk-tuks all the way, you may be forgiven for supposing this paradise lost.
Several different cultures mingle on Panajachel's streets. Ladinos (people of mixed indigenous and European heritage) and other expats control the tourist industry. The Kaqchiquel and Tz'utujil Maya from surrounding villages come to sell their handicrafts to tourists.
This mix makes Pana a curiously cosmopolitan crossroads in an otherwise remote, rural vicinity. All of this makes for a convenient transition into the Atitlán universe – but to truly experience the beauty of the lake, most travelers venture onward soon after arrival.
IMPORTANTE NOTE: WE CHARGE BY NUMBER OF GUESTS. PLACE THE CORRECT NUMBER OF GUESTS BEFORE SENDING YOUR BOOKING. CHILDREN 2 YEARS OLD PAY AS ADULTS.

This was a wonderful property. The kitchen had everything we needed, the staff cleaned each day (like hotel maid service), clean towels every day. Pretty location. I only put this next part out there to give a caution to anyone who cannot sleep on an extremely firm mattress. All the best in all three rooms were very hard. I wouldn't book this property if that is a problem for you. Otherwise, it was spectacular.
