About this house rental

Relax on the covered deck with tui's and bellbirds for company, then enjoy a BBQ in the garden. The boat harbour and swimming pontoon are at the end of the street and the community swimming pool just 5 minutes away. Plenty of off-street parking available. Beautiful lakefront walks on your doorstep and the Great Walks of Fiordland close by, plus plenty of boating and fishing options. In the cooler months there is a cozy wood pellet fire and heat pump available and plenty of gas hot water for both bathrooms.

Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

We loved staying at this perfectly located house in beautiful Te Anau! The house is large, but with many cozy spots, including the living room, the dining room table, the master bedroom where we stayed, and several outside porch alcoves. We loved coming home to relax in comfort after a day of hiking the many trails in the region. We'll definitely be back!

Staying here felt like staying in grandparents house shortly after they died. Almost everything seemed outdated and the beautiful landscaping not maintained. Very spacious but the kitchen lacked necessary pots and pans for a large group. Bathroom nice and big but not clean(we took photos). Landscaping scratched car in driveway. Lockbox hard to find in back. We did love getting to stay in Te Anau with all it's charm and wonders and don't regret visiting the area but would try to find another place to stay next time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Te Anau. Polly was very responsive and helpful. The house is very spacious throughout and the kitchen is well-equipped. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

This is a great home for families! The bedrooms are spacious, the family room was wonderful to relax in. We were only there a few days but the grandchildren loved the yard and the toys and books. It was important to me that where we stayed felt welcoming and this home is that.

Great house. Very warm. Easy walking distance into the town centre. The kowhai trees visible from kitchen and living area attracted tui. So nice having them chattering away!

This bach was a lovely spacious home with all of the desired facilities. We had a choice of multiple bedrooms. The furniture in the living room was really comfortable with even a reclining couch. It is well heated when necessary. The wi-fi reception is average. The host is easy to contact and helpful.

Home was warm and comfortable. Very roomy home, plenty of room for everyone. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to town and to the Lake front. Bonus having the garage to put the car in... Grandma was delighted that there was no WiFi.......everyone got to talk to one another !!!!!! Found plenty to do in and around Te Anau. Locals are all friendly. Great place for a family holiday.

The house is quirky with extremely interesting features. The house is spacious with large bedrooms and living space. We loved it. You can walk into the lovely village of Te Arnau from this property. Would love to return at some stage.

What a great base for our Te Anau adventures. The house impressed us with its size, privacy and wide range of basic supplies. The covered deck was awesome!

We had an enjoyable few days here in Te Anau. The house was very large and our toddler loves exploring, plus all the games it was stocked up with. The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfortable and shower good. It was walking distance into the town, which was a bonus!

Everything we needed was at hand. The house is very comfortable and clean. It is tastefully decorated and we were made to feel at home. The beds are comfortable. We were there in early spring and, even though it was cold outside, we were cosy and warm. Polly is an excellent host - impeccable communication. We loved our stay and would love to be back!
