Beautiful resort and beaches. A number of nice hiking trails that you can walk to from the condo. Very close to the town of Glen Arbo and a few miles away from Sleeping Bear Dunes. I'm only giving 4 stars because there was a huge generator down the hill from us at the Inn that was running 24/7. It was loud and stinky, so we could not go out on the balcony or open any of the windows. There was a notice taped to our door that warned against drinking the water, so maybe the generator had something to do with that.

We love staying at the Homestead, and this location didn't disappoint! The views from the living room and master bedroom were very beautiful, especially since the leaves on the trees hadn't quite come in yet during our early May stay. We also appreciated that there were relatively few steps to climb to the condo from the parking lot compared to the last Homestead condo we stayed in, which had over 80 steps. The condo also had everything we needed, and we know that a summer visit someday will be enjoyable with air conditioning (most of the condos there don't have it). Thank you for a lovely spring visit!

The owners provided everything we needed. The view was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

House stands on a hill overlooking Lake Michigan as well as Bear Dunes.
Easy to understand instructions up and into to the house.
Too many thermostats to figure out in one house, but it seems usual with apartments around this area (Homestead). House has well equipped kitchen for the most part. The scissors were broken, thankfully had a Swiss knife.
The house is about half a mile from Glen Arbor town. Homestead has few good trails around. The town has few good eateries, and a lot of views of the lake.

What a wonderful property! Communication with the owners was excellent throughout. The condo is spacious and beautifully stocked. And the view!!! We can’t wait to come back!

We just love the Homestead Resort, especially in the fall as we celebrate our anniversary. This condo was extra special with the incredible view of S. Manitou Island and the beautiful changing leaves. The condo is very roomy with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and wood for the fireplace. Thank you for opening up your home to us Ramune & Joseph! We hope to stay again soon!

Well equipped and comfortable-Second level view is great and not that many steps to get to unit. Pleasant and a/c units are a very handy to back up the breezes off the lake.

Gorgeous elevated view of the Lake, saw eagles gliding right outside our window! Clean, tidy, well-organized and comfortable condo. And quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4th of July week there. Also, love the Alpine village area! Great hiking! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo was spacious, comfy and very nicely furnished. Very clean and neat throughout.
The views of Lake Michigan from the living room and master bedroom are beautiful.
You can tell that the owners take pride in their ownership as well as making the renter experience the best possible.
We hope to return for another visit. Thank you for a memorable week!

The view is absolutely stunning. The owners made sure it was immaculate. In addition, they treat you like a guest instead of a renter. They had many little details to help make the stay even better! We would love to return!

the place was clean. beautiful location and view. we were looking to do NOTHING, no itinerary or agenda. it was quiet in the area. the condo had everything we needed including a working fireplace. exactly what we'd hoped for. the owners even granted an extra couple hours for a later checkout to which we were grateful. all the amenities and everything clearly marked and explained.

This was our second time staying at this property, and we loved having time to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Michigan! We were so grateful the owners moved up our dates to beat the blizzard.

This property was actually much larger than the photos led me to believe. Great location, amazing views of the lake, everything was clean and comfortable bed to boot. The host was very welcoming and provided helpful information about local weather etc before our stay.

We signed up for a "room with a view" on lake Michigan and received that and so much more. Ramune and Joseph's place was conveniently located to all local attractions and a very comfortable place to begin and end our day. Clean. Carefully stocked. Thoughtful extras. Well maintained. A complete package. A wonderful experience. Thank you.

Beautiful view and everything needed to make us feel comfortable and cozy. My husband is a great cook and he loved how well stocked the kitchen was with little details only a cook would appreciate! Everything was explained well from the TV to the heater. It was very clean when we arrived and we will be back!

We had a great time staying at Ridgetop 23/24. The views were spectacular and the condo was very cozy. We loved appreciated the well appointed kitchen and the comfortable beds. We were bummed that it was already booked up for next summer.

Loved the place and location, some of the best views ever from the balcony. The resort is also amazing, I would recommend this place to anyone, good deal as well, compared to most places on that resort. Here are the small issues we had though. The place needs some updating. The furniture is literally from the 90’s, comfy, but anyone 30+ will have some flashbacks of their furniture growing up. Kitchen is great, however there is a great little bar attached, with no stools. No central air, but the AC units worked great. Toilets are not extended bowls, which will catch you off guard at first if you’re not used to it. These are all very small issues though, and we’re already talking about possibly going back. Five stars for sure.

Beautiful sunsets in a well equipped condo
I have never stayed in a rental that was so well equipped! Spices, oil, what you need if you want to cook and so many cooking utensils! Games, dvds, matches, the owners have put a lot of thought into what renters may need.
Absolutely loved the fireplace (wood outside in closed area)
Perfect for watching sunsets while drinking champagne
The owners were pro active and very gracious.
Location at homestead resort was wonderful, not too many steps. We walked to Glen arbor, maybe a mile.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property!!!

Great Place to Stay and Perfect Time of the Year
Very spacious, very clean and an excellent view! We have stayed in numerous VRBO's from the east coast to the west coast, and this one ranks up there at the top! Ramune and Joseph have furnished this condo with anything and everything you could possibly need in a vacation rental.

The Reviews Were Right!
The reviews helped us choose this property and they were right. The unit was immaculate and very well stocked. The view of Lake Michigan is stunning. We built a fire with wood that was supplied and watched the sunset over the lake. Very peaceful weekend.

Great getaway!!
We decided to spend a few days of our spring break at The Homestead to get away from it all. The accommodations were wonderful - clean, comfortable, well equipped with a FABULOUS view. We visited over some cooler and sometimes rainy days, but it didn't matter, because we were so comfortable and cozy in Joseph and Ramune's condo.

Up North Winter Weekend
The condo was very clean. Everything we needed was supplied. Lots of firewood available. Great view. Wonderful owners. Beautiful property.

Beautiful, comfortable, and quiet...and well-stocked
This is one of the best "stocked" vacation places I have ever stayed. Everything we needed was in place. With one trip to the grocery store, we could have hidden out there for weeks. The two bedrooms are in separate areas, so there is lots of privacy. The view is wonderful. Just be sure you understand that this is up high on the dunes, so any walking involves lots and lots of hills.

Fabulous views, great condo!
The condo was exactly as advertised. Incredible view of the lake, spacious and clean apt, a kitchen with everything you need (we cooked all our meals here due to a COVID surge). The location is lovely. The Homestead has easy access to the beach, and Glen Arbor is a cute little town. Instructions were clear, and Ramune was responsive to our questions. We would definitely return.
