Werkelijk een droom

Dit was fantastisch. Een paradijs om te verblijven. Schoon, ruimtelijk, privé. We voelden ons heel erg op ons gemak. Het ontbijt was heerlijk (beste in Colombia tot nu toe) en ook lunch en diner waren goed verzorgd. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en hielp graag. We vonden het jammer om afscheid te nemen! Het dorpje is te lopen met 30 minuten. Dit vonden wij met de hitte te ver dus zijn elke dag met de tuktuk naar het dorp gegaan. Het personeel belt er graag één voor je. Er is niet veel te doen, maar het verblijf is een attractie op zich. Overdag lekker aan het zwembad, in de avond Barichara in. Geweldig.

Perfect Hotel to get relaxation

If you want to disconnect from the city and get a place to relax in a natural environment this is the hotel, the breakfast is delicious so much peace and quietness is perfect, and the pool matches the sunny weather, a nice place to stay.

Everything was perfect, and nothing to complain about, perhaps the cocktails could have a little bit more alcohol, please be aware that WIFI is just available in the restaurant place not in the rooms

Excelente opción para descansar y desconectarse.

Todo!. Excelente atención, muy amables, siempre pendientes de todo. El sitio es perfecto para descansar, para conectarse con la naturaleza y cada cabaña es lejos de la otra que permite gran privacidad. Muy limpio, cómodo con todo lo que uno necesita. Es peefecto para desconectarse. La entrada es retirada del oueblo pero en auto normal, hasta bajito, se puede llegar sin lio.

Todo me gusto. creo que solo recomendaría a los viajeros no bañarse en la tarde. El baño es afuera y no es 100% cubierto y hace frío. Tener auto para bajar al pueblo.

Les équipements sont peuvent être usés (fenêtre abîmée, porte d’entrée qui ne ferme pas à clé, douche avec peu de pression). Nourriture efficace mais pas extraordinaire

Magnífica Experiencia

La atención de todos los anfitriones fue genial, Santiago y Catalina nos dieron un excelente recibimiento y sugerencias para hacer en las zonas aledañas; Patricia y Yesenia fueron muy amables en el restaurante y la recepción; Álvaro muy atento y experto en hacer fogatas. Recomendamos totalmente Serranía del Viento para tener una estadía agradable y única en Barichara. Gracias a todos por hacer de nuestro paseo una gran experiencia.

Barichara is one of my favourite cities in Colombia to visit, and Serrania showed me new views

This was a dream find. You are surrounded by nature, it is so peaceful and beautiful. I luckily found this property and although I was hesitant because it was glamping I knew my family would love it. We stayed at the domes and at the cabin and all of us loved the connection with nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the peace the property offers, enjoyed the pool. pool- amazing views- the best panoramic views of Barichara and the Cayon staff- super friendly! they were accommodating food- we enjoyed our breakfast and late-night food! convenient for when you don't want to go back into town honestly can't say enough good things about this place, absolutely loved our stay and would want to go back

Wifi is only in the common area and not in the cabins/domes- we didn't really mind because we were there 1 night and we wanted to enjoy and hang out as a family. Plus the nature sounds at night were enjoyable 10-15 min drive from downtown Barichara - so you can't walk back into town as easily. We didn't mind it though we wanted the peace and quiet

Really relaxing hotel with a swimming pool. Service was really lovely. There was 2 cats who love to cuddle. If you want some nature while you stay at Barichara, go there. it’s only 10 minutes away with a Tuktuk.

I wish there was an hamac next to our tent.

I loved my stay so much, I returned two times after. The rooms (I stayed in 2 different domes and 1 hut) are clean and spacious. Hot showers! The views are amazing. The staff will make you feel super welcome and are very helpfull. It is a bit away from Barichara, but therefore really calm and with great views off the city. Easy transport by tuktuk. The food at Serrania is nice as well!

100% paradise do not miss.

My partner and I had an absolute dream stay here. We seriously considered extending our stay but were not able simply due to timing constraints. We typically backpack on a budget staying in dorms, but decided to splurge for a couple nights on this spot and it was 100% the right choice. The dome room felt like absolute luxury with phenomenal views and complete privacy. The staff were incredibly hospitable and make a stellar breakfast. They also organised wonderful massages which were given right in the room. Common areas are very relaxing and comfortable. We did not leave the property that much as it was just a treat to relax and take it all in. Thank you so much! We will be back one day.

Outdoor pool could do with a little better maintenance just to clear the bugs and debris that had fallen inside.

I would have liked to stay in the Glamping rooms it’s a nice natural virgin environment although the room had too many centipede on the room and bathroom floor Road to arrive to the location is a bit rough

Stunning place for relaxing

The location is unparalleled. The mountain view from the communal area and pool is one of the best I have ever experienced. The entire team is first class. The rooms are a pleasure to return to after a day walking or exploring town. The pool is clean and refreshing. Absolutely fabulous experience. The Margherita was delicious as well.

The breakfasts run a little small but that isn't such a shock as they are included in the price. I write this so people are aware- but obviously Serrania has the views and quiet atmosphere because of this- the trip to town can be a little tricky so best to just organize a tuktuk (easy to do from town, or Serrania can call one for you, 10k one way): it is roughly half an hour walk, steep, and unprotected from the sun. If you walk, go prepared!
