very inviting, comfortable, and a pool for liming.
Warm Breezes stay:
I'm Sheldon from East of Toronto in Canada.
I spent 28 days in Trinidad and Tobago over the course of 3 visits. 22 days of which, I was in Tobago.
My first stay was in Warm Breezes - which is located on the top level of the villa.
Hibiscus Heights is just walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants and bars and Grafton Beach.
Grafton Beach a sandy beach, it is great for wading and swimming. The beach isn't busy which lends to a nice quite day at the beach.
The monotony is broken up by black rock jutting into the sea which we explored to find small fish caught in natural rock pools waiting for high tide to release them.
I have spent much time this summer liming by the pool and seeing the owners in action. They are quick to respond to inquires.
The owners are helpful with advice of where to go for food and outings. My party was picked up at the airport.
We also took advantage of their guided tour promotion around the island another day during my first visit.
Hibiscus Heights has great Wi-Fi reception everywhere.
The TV's cable signal is clear as expected but out of my 28 days in paradise, I only watched 20 minutes of TV a few times.
The A/C works excellent and is very easy to set the temperature.
Each room at the Hibiscus Heights Villa has a different ambiance which is refreshing and quite a change from the standard rooms in hotels.
On my first visit to Tobago, I spent every night at The Hibiscus Heights.
My first step into the door of our large bedroom , I could tell that someone who cares about my stay, prepared your room.
The room was the master bedroom of the penthouse suite, "Warm Breezes".
The master bedroom had an on suite bathroom with shower, multiple doors opening up to the wrap around porch which leads to the pool in the back of the upper level.
The pool is accessible to all guests and is a must when liming the right way in the afternoon.
This penthouse apartment sleeps 6 privately and 8 otherwise.
The massive kitchen beckons for help with the feast preparation.
There is so much room, 2 separate meals have been prepared at the same time with 3 cooks.
There is also a very large table with matching sturdy huge chairs to allow for feasting abutted with the large TV room.
The view from the master bedroom, TV room and the patio over look the calm Sea on the leeward side of the Island.

Can't wait to go back
A home away from home. Loved my stay at Hibiscus Heights.

We loved this apartment. It was bigger than it appears in the pictures and in an awesome neighborhood for exploring. Lots of little artsy shops, bakeries, restaurants, organic and fair trade markets and little hidden plazas. We'd go back in a heartbeat. It comfortably sleeps 4.

We spent a week in Sweet Nest in April 2009.
For us, it was the perfect place to stay. The cottage was well equipped, had a lovely deck area and Gill and Paul were fantastic. The area itself is exactly what we were looking for in Tobago - slightly away from the really touristy part of the island. The beach was spectacular, about 5 minute walk from the property and pretty empty at all times. The restaurants and bars at Pleasant Prospect were great and there is a mini supermarket where you can buy the essentials. We got away with not hiring a car for the week as there was no real need. The beach is one of the best on the island and the restaurants and supermarket nearby covered all our needs. For a relaxing break where you are looking to unwind, it is perfect. The rest of Hibiscus Heights looked fantastic as well. It is perfect for all occasions. You could probably rent the 2 apartments and the cottage for a group of 10 or so.
We can't recommend Hibiscus Heights enough and, if you stay there, you certainly won't be disappointed.

Last week we took our grown daughter (who needed a break) with us to Tobago and stayed at Hibiscus Heights, hosted by Gillian and Paul. It was delightful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. And Gillian and Paul are just adorable.
Just know that you have an easy walk down the hill to the beach, but as you can guess, you have to walk back up to the lodging. We loved the exercise.
The beach is so great we never wanted to leave. We even sat and watched the sun set over the ocean as we relaxed on the beach. There's sun if you want it or plenty of shade. The beach is cleaned and raked every day by a crew of cute ladies. And it's not crowded . . . just a few walkers now and then and some people playing further down near a hotel. It was just perfect!
And be sure you try eating at The Fish Pot just a stone's throw from Hibiscus. Food is cooked to order and it was great, too.
We plan to return in May or June and wouldn't consider staying anywhere but at Hibiscus Heights. Email Gill with any of your questions, and she'll respond.
By the way, I left a pair of very expensive eye glasses in the bedroom and hadn't even realized it before Gillian called me to see how she could send them to me! Thanks, Gillian!
