MANATEE WATCH - A marvelous waterfront 3 bedroom/ 2 bath home just a short walk away from an astonishing white sand beach. Heated pool, hot tub and a spacious dock with beautiful views of the canal. Many months each year you can watch Manatees playing around in the water. A covered patio by the pool area offers a relaxing time in this lovely home. Rent kayaks or paddle boards and explore the surrounding area. The water canal leads fast access to great fishing trips in the Tampa Bay Area and the Gulf of Mexico.

This home was very nice and the location was perfect for beach access! We saw manatees everyday. The host was extremely responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

This is a special place. We have stayed here twice. Perfect home in the best location. Manatee sightings, easy walk to the beach, and comfortable home with everything you need. We rented kayaks both times we came and used them everyday. We even saw dolphins in the bay while kayaking. The owners, Olaf and Marissa are kind and welcoming. Will gladly return!

This is a rare instance when you can believe the hype or marketing / home listing. The name says Manatee Watch and watch we did - we saw manatees every day (families of them playing only feet away). The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing - the shaded area and abundance of chairs helps. The home clean and very well maintained. I've never seen a rental stocked with so much in a kitchen - he had everything one could need. The location is excellent - close to the beach access, quiet, easy to get to and from and close to the shuttle. Overall, this is an excellent rental - kudos to Olaf.

Property was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location! We enjoyed having coffee by the canal every morning and even got to see manatees a couple of times! Great communication with owner as well - would definitely stay here again!

What a great place. The house was a perfect size for five of us. The pool and jacuzzi were heated, which was a bonus. Most homes you rent require an extra fee for a heated pool. The property is at the end of a bayou, I think that’s wha you call it. The manatees were so much fun to watch. There was plenty of space to lay in the sun. There were 2 tables and chairs under the deck so you could hang out in the shade. A set of table and chairs , with an umbrella was on the deck right off of the living room. The kitchen was very well stocked. There were beach towel’s, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, cooler and a cart to bring any or all to the beach. The beautiful, semi private beach with sea green water, is a minute or two walk from the home. It is breath taking when you first step on the beach. Watching the sunset from the beach is serene. I’ve rented a number of homes in different locations in Florida and this is the best it gets. All I can say is, rent this home and you won’t regret it. The owner is very pleasant and attentive. We were very, very, happy on our vacation. What a great vacation home.

Great house Comfortable and very clean Pool deck, canal for fishing and a 2 minute walk across the street to the Gulf The kitchen is well equipped but get out and visit the many restaurants close by The house was not too swanky it’s nice but didn’t have to worry about kids too much Relaxed! Olaf our host could not have been more accommodating Highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful stay and the house was possible the best rental we have ever stayed in. From waking up to watch the manatee’s swimming in the cove out back, to a nice morning stroll on the beach, the location offered everything you could need and want. Take a hot tub, swim in the pool then hit the beach, rinse and repeat. Add in a few meals at some of the great local spots and that pretty much sums up the week.

This house was perfect. The location is great. We enjoyed the heated pool and spa. It was really nice to sit in the spa on chilly nights. The 2 minute walk to the beach was so easy especially with all of the equipment that comes with house - chairs, beach cart, umbrella, cooler, beach toys, etc. Thank you Olaf and Marissa for such a lovely home.

We recently stayed at Manatee Watch for a week (2 Adults and 4 kids ages 17,16,13 and 10). This property was perfect for our family. It was clean, had all the amenities and was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and where we spent most of our time. It was a very short walk to the beach as well as to shops and a few restaurants. A short drive and you could easily get to everywhere on the island. Our host, Marissa, met us when we arrived and was extremely nice and welcoming. We hope to visit sometime again. Would highly recommend.

We have just had a fantastic 11-night vacation at Manatee Watch. The home is very well situated on a waterway, yet just a few minutes walk from beautiful Holmes Beach.
There is a Publix a couple of minutes drive away along with a Walgreens and a range of good restaurants offering a range of options from breakfast to dinner.
It is an easy drive to the other beaches, shops and restaurants on the island or down to Longboat and Lido Key. There’s great shopping and restaurants 30 mins away at St Armand Circle.
The house itself is tastefully furnished and very comfortable, the kitchen is well supplied and most importantly the whole house is absolutely, spotlessly clean.
By the lovely pool, is a covered area outside offering various, very welcome sitting options in the shade along with a barbecue and TV.
We saw manatees, including a mother and baby, from the back deck every day: it was a truly wonderful experience.
Olaf and Marissa were very easy to contact and communication and response were always excellent. It was lovely to meet them both on arrival and we appreciated the time they took to show us round and ensure we knew how everything worked. We had no issues at all during our stay: everything worked perfectly.
We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes and this was by far our favourite: it was a very special home-from-home. We would highly recommend this beautiful house as a base on AMI and are already planning on when we could return. Thank you Olaf & Marissa.

We loved staying at Manatee Watch! We brought our 4 teenage boys and they loved the location to the sea, the trolley, their favorite breakfast spot and the pool and hot tub too. They fished on the dock and the pier too! The daily manatee sightings were an added bonus and such fun! The house was very clean and had a nice kitchen we cooked in a few times. Our family (3 young kids under 5) stayed here for the week and this place was just perfect!! Very clean, tons of fresh towels, felt very well kept up. Beds were firm but comfortable. Everything well stocked (without clutter) more so than other rentals we have stayed at.
Pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Olaf greeted us on arrival and showed us how to work everything in the pool area. We definitely saw some manatees right off the dock, kids got sprayed by one and found it hilarious.
Beach supplies were perfect with cart, pool floats, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, cooler. Quick walk to the beach that was not crowded and absolutely gorgeous.
We also loved the location. Quiet street with easy access to trolley, grocery store, beach etc. quick few minutes on golf cart to north of island but also closer to brandenton etc. if exploring south.
Really recommend this place! Our family had an amazing time discovering AMI, and left feeling so refreshed! Thanks for hosting us :)

This home suited us to a tee. Right on a canal and a short walk to the beach. The house is very clean and well equipped, even beach chairs, pool floats and sand chairs. Can’t wait to return!

The back porch and pool area were great and anytime we weren't at the beach, this is where we were. The location was also great with a short, two block walk to a beautiful beach for locals. We had a fabulous week in Anna Maria. The property was exceptional!! The pool and spa were just perfect and watching the manatees from the dock was incredible. We look forward to visiting again!!

We arrived with Olaf greeting us. We had access to a full garage, that was great for our gulf cart and car. I’m the garage was a bathroom close to the pool. The outside shower felt so good coming from the hot beach and allowed us to rinse our sand off. an outside. We loved the pool with a great bay view of SO many manatees. We loved that there was covered deck for shade and a balcony that overlooked the pool and bay. From the upper level. There were plenty of bath and beach towels as well as items you need before going to the store. We found the place full of natural light with a well equipped kitchen. There were coolers, beach umbrellas, chairs and a cart that we used on our quick walk to the beach. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!!!

Wonderful location, great property with manatees out back every day. Property is close to the beach on a golf cart friendly island. Owners were super responsive, hand delivering the keys and offering local expertise. Will stay again!

Beautiful home and location!
Our family loved our stay here! The owners were great and communicated so well and quickly! This was our second trip to AMI and we can’t wait to come back and stay at Manatee Watch again! We spent the majority of the time at the beach, but the hot tub and pool was a hit! The house was very clean, organized, and stocked with essentials. Thank you for everything!!

The house and property are pretty amazing. Everything you could want, well appointed. The owners were incredibly responsive when a problem arose with the dishwasher. Replaced same day of issue. The pool and deck are just as pictured. The manatee sightings from the pier were many. Very short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

This property is everything it says it is! Private, lots of manatee watching just off the deck. Short walk to the beach, beautiful sunsets. The property owners are wonderful and so accommodating! We can't wait to return!

The home is very clean and updated. The owners are amazing, my family and I loved our stay. This is our new number one home to book on AMI. Everything that we needed for our stay was here. This property was incredible and the owners were above and beyond. Olaf and Marissa were fantastic and so kind, the manatees kept us company all day - every day in the canal while we enjoyed the awesome pool.
