Great value and quality.

Amazing value for money/ Private Car Park / Great beer/ Band playing live and bar open to 12. Room was small but perfect for me travelling solo. Very clean / Warm / Decent decoration. Bar Lady/ Landlord was amazingly friendsly.

The only negative was a lack of cooked breakfast, as in, you had to make the eggs yourself in a microwave, which did not go at all well! Croissants were stale. That said, there was great attention to detail in terms of it being a continental breakfast.....

Excellent pub and facilities

Nigel is lovely. Staff were really helpful and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Great evening after returning from a Italian meal. Live band, was brilliant. Breakfast was lovely, even made a friend of mine very welcome after paying us a visit.

It was a little uncomfortable as cold so didn’t sleep well so made most of hot shower to warm up.

Heating not on or didn’t work it’s winter!!! No milk for my tea but ready for bed so didn’t go and enquire. Kettle playing up . Little smelly from plumbing.

Very welcoming!

Very warm welcome - especially for our kids. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Thanks so much, we really enjoyed our stay!

A comfy stay in a friendly pub.

The location was ideal for my needs whilst cycle touring. The early D-I-Y breakfast was great for getting an early start. I felt that I got good value for money. Having a pizza meal available on a Sunday evening saved me from looking elsewhere for food. The staff provided good bike storage too.

The plumbing was a bit noisy!

Everything was ready and spotlessly clean on arrival. The bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast only available but a good selection with some items you can heat yourself e.g. beans. Nigel is a good host and a nice guy, and the staff are welcoming. The cleaners do a thoroughly good job. This is a pub. They only do pizza as food in the pub itself but it is lovely traditional pub with no frills and not far from the various restaurants in Ware.

The staff where brilliant allowed early check in .we stayed for dad's funeral, the owner opened up the bar so we could have a drink before the wake, the bar staff at night were pleasant and didn't rush us to leave at night very helpful would definitely stay again great job guys x

Continental Breakfast was idea. Plenty of choice. Room was clean and warm and everything worked. Slightly tired around the edges but for a one night stay it was fine.

noisy water boiler tank at side of bed ,toilet did not flush properly, big hole in wall where plumbing work not finished properly, very basic accommodation although clean enough

Made to feel at home and a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great continental breakfast that also included poached eggs. Nice selection of of fresh juice, cereals and tea and coffee plus cheese and meat - first class. The staff couldn't be nice, from the bar to breakfast and the cleaning staff - a credit to the company. I stayed for 5 weeks in total from Monday to Friday and couldn't fault anything. Thank you for everything 😊

Everything you could want in the small room on the premises of a pleasant pub. Town centre and station short walk away, 10 to 15 minutes.

Only problems were that it got cold at night which affected sleeping, and wi fi was fine for a phone but not a computer.

A lovely little getaway.

Staff were nice, especially Nigel. Lovely nutritious breakfast variety and choice. Also nice TV in room, and it’s good having a pub downstairs to socialise.

The shower was off-putting! Baths should offered instead or as well as. Not easy to operate so couldn’t use it. It’s far too high up for shorter people to reach!
