My family and friends stayed there and the house was wonderful! Easy access to the water park, airport & the Strand! Stayed in communication with the property manager which was so sweet & helpful. Would definitely stay again and high recommend this house!

It is obvious Kelly takes great pride in her VRBO. The home is clean and has everything you need for a home away from home vacation. She goes above and beyond to create the perfect home environment. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The rating is well above a 10 out of 10. You can’t go wrong with this rental. And being on the island everything you need from groceries to gas is close by. Kelly is easily accessible. I can’t say enough great things about her and her rental. Worth every cent we paid.

We enjoyed staying here immensely! There was 5 of us women and my 9 mo old daughter with us and we had the best time! Kelly was such a thoughtful and attentive host, we felt so welcome and at home as soon as we got there!

From the moment we booked the Flip Flop Inn to our final day, hostess Kelly was OUTSTANDING! She graciously accommodated our earlier arrival with a cute welcome basket of goodies and a reminder to let her know if we needed anything. She even checked with us to be sure we were doing well part way through our stay. Flip Flop was PERFECT for our two families to meet for a much needed vacation! The pool and hot tub were WELL used by all, several rounds of pool were played, and a few of the games available during the evening indoors. It is well appointed with all the fixin's - linens, beach/pool towels, extra blankets to cozy up, and let me get started on the kitchen! The older kids LOVED the loft and the bunk room was just right for the younger ones. So close to many attractions and dining (but we stayed in A LOT) even finding time to bake. If we head back down to Galveston, we will absolutely book the Flip Flop Inn with Kelly - you should too!

We all enjoyed our stay at the Flip Flop Inn!! It had an awesome hangout space in the back with a pool, hot tub, and pool table. Would be a great place for people with kids as well. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time renting a house for a family vacation. It was the best decision we made. Choosing this house was awesome. She left a wonderful welcome gift and was very attentive. Would definitely recommend this house

Flip flop Inn is lovely, clean, and very well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The deck, outdoor living area pool and hot tub were family favorites. The host was amazing!

We came to celebrate my brothers birthday with a nice guided fishing trip. My family and I had an amazing time. The pool felt amazing and the kids loved it. The house had plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out and enjoy the home. Being able to enjoy the games on Sat while the kids swam was awesome. The home is in a great location. Fishing spots are a short drive away as well as Seawall blvd and all the other tourist spots. Would absolutely stay here again.

My friends and I absolutely adored the house!! Everything was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a nice way to relax after the beach and in the evenings. We enjoyed spending time on the back porch chatting and sipping drinks. We came to celebrate my birthday and when we arrived there was goodies and balloons. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here and am already thinking about coming back. :)

The property was clean and neat. The outdoor area is great. My family really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The owner responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had and did a great job of making our stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is equipped with everything you can think even seasonings for your food We had such a nice relaxing time. There’s games for all ages, pool table, swimming pool, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances and all the dishes you need The property host always communicated with me easily accessible Will be back!!

My kids and I booked a last minute trip to Galveston and chose The Flip Flop Inn based on the reviews and its perfect location to the excitement on the island. Ms Kelly truly thought of everything for this ADORABLE house. The decorations and amenities are beyond expectation. Her “welcome book” is filled with brochures of things to do on the island, a Galveston bucket list, and clear instructions. Not to mention she is readily available to answer questions and so so friendly and accommodating. Everything you could want in a host. I truly could go on and on and on about this place. If you are stuck in between different places to stay, look no further! I promise you will not be disappointed. If I could give her place (and her) more than 5 stars I totally would.

My family and my brother’s family shared this house for my son’s wedding in Galveston. The pictures were true to life of the house; the house was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was close to everything. The weather wasn’t great that weekend but there was plenty to do at the house with the pool table and games. It was so nice to stay somewhere that had plenty of room for everyone. I will be booking this home again.

Nicest VRBO we have stayed at! From the minute you walk in, the stay is about you! Nice welcome card, basket of goodies, and a fun note on the chalkboard. Kelly is a dream manager! She remembered we were their for a family wedding, reached out to see if we needed anything, and answered questions very quickly. The property has everything you need to stay in and cook up some fresh seafood. The outdoor space is just what a person needs to relax or partake in some fun games. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a vacation getaway that would help make us forget that we had to cancel our trip to Mazatlán. This place did just that. The pictures do not lie. This place is clean and fun. The Flip-flop in makes you feel like you are on a vacation getaway from the moment you walk in to the house. There is so much room in this house and the beds and seating were very comfortable. The water pressure is good for those showers after coming home from the beach just a short distance away. However, you may feel like you never need to go to the beach, as the pool and hot tub make you not want to leave. It was the perfect environment to swim and the back yard is setup like tropical paradise. And when you want to have a little fun outside the pool, they have a pool table. We played so many games. And maybe the reason all of this is so nice is the host is amazing. Kelly made sure everything was perfect. If we ever needed anything or had questions, she was a quick call or text away and was very quick to respond. Needless to say, both our families cannot recommend this place enough. Before we even left, we were sending the link to our friends. If you want a great vacation rental close to the beach and all the great restaurants, has an amazing backyard, house, pool and hot tub, this is the place to go. Thank you Kelly for everything.

It was my MIL birthday. The house was perfect. We had 3 toddlers and the den area was perfect for them on the pull out bed. The pool was great. The host Kelly, amazing she allowed us to check in a few hours early. To accommodate for the little kids. She was so great, and we had a blast. Definitely a place to rent from and would visit again.

The flip flop inn was the perfect place for my family of 11!! Very clean and the decor was awesome!! We had everything we needed and the owner checked with us to see if we needed anything. The back yard was the reason we picked this place and it did not disappoint!!! I would definitely stay here again!!! It was also close to everything we wanted to do!!! I would give 10**

We spent the majority of our stay in the pool and playing billiards. We couldn’t ask for a better place to host our family reunion. We all can’t wait to return to make more beautiful memories here! Absolutely a must stay!!

Let's start off by saying that Kelly had tropical music playing when we walked in, she also had my daughter a birthday gift and a welcome message on the kitchen chalkboard to all of us. She also had a welcome basket of snacks and little souvenirs for everyone. This in not your ordinary vacation rental experience. Thats why we will definitely be back. We had 2 families staying with children ages 6-12 and 4 adults. There was even an extra set of keys for the other family. Plenty of room, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean and decorated tastefully not cheap and shabby. There were so many amenities and games to keep us entertained. Kelly also has an album on the coffee table that highlights and shows things to do on the island. The adults got up every morning and had coffee together on the patio before the kids got up, so relaxing. The fridge was huge and held groceries for 2 families and the food pantry was the best to store all our stuff instead of having to shove it all in cabinets and it was all so organized. The property was spotless and so tropical outside. The kids loved the loft room. The hot tub was perfect and the pool was super clean and just the right depth for the kids to enjoy without the parents worrying constantly. The hammock was a bonus we all took a turn on it. Thank you for having patio furniture that is up to date and beautiful and matching not falling apart etc. The yard was so clean and manicured and the grass was wonderful to walk on. The grill was clean and ready for us to use with designated grill utensils right there. We cooked every breakfast and lunch and a couple dinners in the kitchen and it was spacious and not cramped. Her appliances are clean and all in working order. There was plenty of paper towels, tissue, cooking oil, spices, trash bags, laundry soap etc. I could go on and on. This rental will not disappoint at all. Kelly truly has put lots and lots of thought and pride into her rental and it shows and we appreciate her so much. Its refreshing to stay in a home away from home where you're truly welcomed and have nothing to worry about. I was so proud of myself for renting this place when our friends arrived and they were in awe of how awesome it was. Thank you so much Kelly.
