Such a cool house. Loved the tile work in the bathrooms. House is nicely located, close to town, close to north beach. Nice views from the deck. We had a great time!

Amazing cabin tucked in the woods but still bikeable distance to downtown McCall. Very well built and cute cabin. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be back again!

This is a very fine property and very comfortable. The house was very clean and quiet, with a great fine view of the lake and the mountains to the east. It's located far enough off Warren Wagon Road that I did not notice any traffic noise at all. The owners clearly care about the place, and it shows.

House was clean and well taken care of. Will be back soon. One thing to note in the winter, the driveway is steep. So make sure you have 4wd and chains.

What a gem this place is. From the cleanliness to the design and the uniqueness. Quality kitchenware and appliances. Super comfy beds and bedding. Great water pressure! Adorable little welcome for my dog with bowls and bones and poop bags. And great manager responsiveness. 5 stars!!

Amazing getaway. Awesome views in the morning/dusk. Close enough to town but far enough away to relax and enjoy it. We were there for a softball tournament and asked for a late checkout and very understanding. Would definitely stay here again

Location was excellent. We saw a bear cub and a 4 point buck. The A-frame interior had a very nice roomy design, was clean, well-equipped and had interesting custom wood cabinetry and bathroom tile work. Portable AC units in living room and upstairs bedrooms kept the interior temperature very comfortable during late July heat. The three patios have beautiful views with comfortable furniture. Outdoor seating area with fire pit is very nice. The private apartment located below the guest A-frame should be described in the VRBO write-up so that future guests are not surprised when they see it and they know what to expect. The host was very responsive. I was very happy with our stay.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was so clean and so well stocked with everything you need and more. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with the lake view. It was so great to be able to bring our doggies and have space around the cabin for them to explore. The location was excellent, close to everything. The owners were excellent with communication, etc. We will definitely be booking this cabin in the future!

My family & 2 dogs had a great weekend stay at this cute house! The views are amazing and it was very comfortable home! I’d definitely stay again! Driveway was steep but not a problem in spring time.

We loved the large space and stunning views with balconies everywhere! Our pups enjoyed the treats and dog bed. I loved having sharp Henckel knives to use! We enjoyed playing games each night after a day of working out. My son and I ran on the bear basin trails, then we ran the Jug Mountain 10k, then we drove to New Meadows-and biked 45 miles to Cambridge, then the last day we Biked the canyon between Midvale and Weiser. A very active vacation, made better by returning back to your comfy cabin. My husband enjoyed running along Lake Payette each day for his exercise. Pups were just happy to hang with us. So, thank you for helping us create lovely memories of McCall! Cheers

With three adults and two dogs, we had plenty of room to spare and loved the location and views this property gave us. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved this location. We went in March 2023 and there was a lot of snow. The narrow road up the hill to the cabin was plowed. A bit of a challenge for my long wheelbase truck, but totally doable. The last hairpin turn going up required a few back and forth's to make the turn due to the steep snow banks on the sides of the road. Actually made it more adventurous, which I certainly like. We were there for skiing and access to both Tamarack and Brundage were great. Short, easy access to McCall too. Our host was great and even offered a late check-out, which ended up helping our logistics in the end. We arrived at the cabin after dark, but following the hosts detailed directions is definitely the way to get there as Google is a bit off as the host mentioned.

We were looking for a place where we could take our dogs and have a mini vacation in the snow. This place was beyond our expectations! When we arrived we were welcomed by a fire and a note on the chalkboard welcoming us. The dog treats and dog bed were totally unexpected and a welcomed addition. The fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you have at home allowed us to cook out meals in, which we prefer. The bed was super comfy, the well thought out details, hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen towels, soap, all the little details...you can tell the owners take pride in the home and think of all the details.
We would definitely stay here again and plan to make this an annual snow adventure with our dogs.

The view was amazing and the cabin was spacious and well stocked. Owner was very understanding and flexible with our check in date/time. My family has never spent Christmas away from home but staying here was absolutely the perfect getaway and has set the standard for our future holiday adventures!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin with our two goldens. It was stocked with everything you needed and then some. The master bed was amazingly comfortable. Very cozy place!
Weather (snow) will play a factor getting to the front door of this cabin. Didn't bother us though, it was a nice short walk.
Thank you for sharing your home, we will be back!

I reserved this mountain cabin in the hopes that it would provide a much needed time of rejuvenation, solitude and reflection in a secluded and scenic area. It checked all the boxes! It was a cozy and peaceful time.
My car did get stuck halfway up the steep, snowy driveway. I contacted the owners, and they responded right away that they would help me as soon as they returned to town. I had to take a few trips up the hill to walk my stuff to the cabin, but it wasn't far, and I didn't mind. Doug came to help shovel my car out first thing the next morning.
One minor thing that could be improved is to provide a binder with important info, such as how the heaters work. It wasn't very clear which way to turn the knobs to turn on the baseboard heaters, and the thermostat took a while to warm up. I was thankful for the wood burning stove. There was plenty of firewood and fire starter stuff provided, and they even had everything prepped and ready to start the first fire in the stove. That was thoughtful!
The views and location were ideal! It's still in a neighborhood, but the cabin is up on a hill overlooking the trees and lake (far in the distance), and the houses are all spread out. It's only ten minutes to town.
I had a lovely time and plan to return again next year for another solo mom retreat!

Magical was the theme word of the trip. From coming in to a fire making the place cozy in the wood-burning stove, to the view of the snow-covered trees while soaking in the claw foot tub. We initially planned to eat out and spend time exploring McCall but with how cute and cozy and magnificent the view we ended up going to the grocery and staying in and relaxing. Would give more stars if I could, looking forward to our next visit!

We had such a great time! The property was located in such a convenient and beautiful place. It was quiet and clean and so relaxing that no one really wanted to leave. We were able to hike and mountain bike right out the front door.
The property is just minutes from McCall, so running in to eat or shop was very convenient.
The kitchen was well appointed, open, and updated. The views were so beautiful. Looking out on the lake in the early morning or upon the dark night sky, was such a treat.
My husband and I lived in McCall previously and this home is in one of the best locations you can ask for.
We will be back for sure.

The space was beautiful and well appointed. Quick drive to town and trail heads. Backs right up to the national forest which is a huge plus. Views from the deck are amazing also 10/10.

We absolutely loved our stay there!! The view was the best! We even had a full moon above the lake to look at! The property was so private and our dog loved exploring around the cabin. We drove down to Ponderosa State Park to kayak and that was very convenient. We are wanting to stay again there soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the A-frame cabin. It as a very spacious lot with great privacy overall but the driveway is really steep and curvy as mentioned in the listing so be aware. The cabin was nicely decorated and had just about everything you would need in general. Cute eclectic design, with fabulous shower water pressure and amazing views from upstairs bathroom and master room deck. Great trail and other recreation access nearby. Super easy to check in and communicate with the manager. Only two items to mention. 1. No air conditioning. We made it work with the efficient cross ventilation and fan systems in the cabin, but if you run super hot blooded, you may be too warm in the heat of summer at times. ;) Also, there is a small room under the cabin with a private door that is marked and appears to have a camera surveillance system in place. This isn't a concern except that we were surprised by its existence upon checking in. Only would have liked a heads up and perhaps a bit of info on whether someone else stays on the property, or will access it possibly, during a visitors stay. Lovely little property that we did enjoy greatly and would recommend though. Thanks for having us!

Off Warren Wagon Rd., with a view of the lake. This property is minutes from downtown McCall, but so quiet and peaceful. The house is beautifully appointed, and loved the little details like a blanket on the couch, coffee filters, shampoo and soap in the showers. The mosaic tile work in the baths is amazing. The kitchen is well supplied and loved the decks. This would be great for a group or a romantic getaway.
