About this house rental
Awesome lake house (with one of the best views on all of Lake Hartwell) with modern interior design and appliances and less than 5 miles from all the fun shops and restaurants in downtown Hartwell!
Also 30 miles from Clemson, SC and 20 miles from Anderson, SC.

The lake house features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with a large couch, a love seat and two reclining chairs.
The house breakdown is:
Bedroom #1: King Sized Bed
Bedroom #2: Queen Sized Bed
Bedroom #3: Bunk Bed
Bedroom #4: Full sized Bed
Bonus: Queen Sized inflatable bed and Baby Pack n’ Play Bed (that can be broken down and put in the closet)
Downstairs there is one couch (that does not pull out into a bed—but someone could sleep on it) and a love seats along with two recliner chairs.
The house is also in a private cove with only one other dock and 6 feet of deep water—with an amazing view!
The dock (boat slip) will have a boat in it during your rental (which is not for use) but feel free to bring your own boat (and dock it on either side of the dock) along with using the boat launch at the end of the street.
There is also a park at the end of the street with two beaches and two play sets

We had family in from CA and stayed here for a few days. The host was great to communicate with. The house is dated (‘73) but clean and well kept for the most part. We found the grill to be in almost un-usable condition. And the back slider door is a job to open (none of the kids could open it) We would def stay here again if those two items were addressed by owner.

Property was just right for our family. We enjoyed the dock, water and watching all the deer in the back yard. Was a very quiet and friendly community.

This house had everything we needed to celebrate the Fourth of July with extended family. Convenient dock for our boat and jet skis, grill, nice deck, and plenty of cookware in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is pretty quiet too. We enjoyed our stay so much, we will be back in September.

Loved the location. The walk to lake was very easy. Not the cleanest lake house we have rented, but not the owner’s fault. Made him aware of situation and he was very appreciative.

Property is just as pleasant as described. The neighborhood is quiet and laid back, views of the lake are beautiful. Although we didn’t use the recreation equipment, there were plenty of things to do just at the house. We rented a pontoon from a local marina and enjoyed having the dock available for easy use. The owner communicated very well and even tried to help me get to the house when the main road was closed due to an accident. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!!

My husband and I stayed for Father’s Day weekend and it was great! Easy access to put our boat in the water. House was clean and bed was comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings. No complaints house was true to listing. Hope to spend another weekend here sometime.

Great house with awesome views and great location. The house is very spacious and the backyard and deck are amazing. It’s in a quite area but 5 minutes away from downtown, a Walmart, etc. you can be in the mountains of north GA in just 1h. Absolutely loved this place, will consider it for future trips if we ever return to the area.

Property has a beautiful lakefront view. I really loved that the kitchen was well stocked (salt/pepper, plastic wrap, pots/pans, oil) so that wasn't little extra things we needed to buy.
Communication with the owner was fantastic. Responses were quick and lots of information was provided. Check in/out was super convenient. Perfect for a low key/relaxation weekend.

As for the house, the de k was clearly the high point and we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings there. The house was accommodating. A minor issue is the sliding glass door coming out to the deck. It is fairly tight and hard to open & close. All in all, we had a wonderful visit.

Lake Hartwell Getaway
We were looking for a place for our family to get away for a few days. This place was perfect. It accommodated 8 of us very easily. It had a very private beach and was very close to Hartwell and other amenities (Golf, retail spaces, etc). The host was very accessible and easy to communicate with. One suggestion, since we were a party of 8, would be to have 8 kitchen chairs. Overall we had an outstanding stay and would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed every aspect
Garrett the property owner was wonderful to work with. His communication could not have been better. The lake is perfect, from the cleanliness to privacy, it is deep enough to swim and not touch the bottom. We rented a boat and docked on the side and it worked out well. The house is a little creaky, but you can tell that the owners have put a lot of effort into updating. It is a very clean place. It was the highlight of our summer and we will stay at this property again next year, next time a full week!

Amazing Property and Even Better Owner
We had an absolutely amazing vacation thanks to this great lakefront property and an owner who was very communicative and willing to do anything to make our stay better!
The house had plenty of room for everyone, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and was stocked with everything that a person may need! I’ve never seen a kitchen so well stocked for its guests.
The deck was so large that we spent most of our time outside enjoying the weather. We had a large party (10 people) and were never cramped for space. The paddle board and kayaks provided by the owner made our experience with the dock and lake so much better, and we were even able to rent a pontoon boat and easily dock it to the side.
This was the perfect vacation for our family - we’ve already talked about trying to go back sometime soon! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

patio doors have not operated for years.. does the property meet fire code with only 1 exit?! stairway electrical outlet without cover.. bath door falling off hinge.. entrance storm door broken.. excessive grease buildup on gas grill..but lake was nice.

Beautiful lake side retreat!
We had a wonderful time. House and amenities were as described. Dock and boat ramp were extremely convenient and suitable for my boat. We would definitely stay again!!

Great Stay on the Cove
We had a great stay in this lake house. Amazing cove location, very clean, great porch to view the dock and water. LOVED the kayaks and paddleboard. Those were a plus. Thank you so much for allowing my family to enjoy this beautiful lake.

Great weekend getaway! We had rain for most of Saturday and our host went out of his way to see that we had a great time anyway. Everything we needed was here including comfortable beds, newer appliances and good cookware. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Perfect Family Lake Trip Location
Our family had a wonderful vacation at this lake house! The home was spotlessly clean when we arrived with plenty of extra bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies. The home is very well maintained with great renovations, and the owner is very responsive. The open living room and back deck offered plenty of space for our family to enjoy a 4th of July holiday week of fun.
The dock is a very easy, short walk from the house, and the kids and adults had a great time on the kayak, paddle board, and in the water swimming. We also rented a pontoon boat. The marina is very close by, less than 20 min drive, about 30 by boat, and easy to get the boat in and out of the cove.
Overall a great stay!!

Really cute lakehouse!
Loved this property. The house worked great for a weekend trip with a lot of kids. Well equipped and very nice decor. The dock was really nice and we all enjoyed swimming and watching deer walking around! Owner is very helpful, beds were comfy, and the kids were entertained. What more could you ask for?
