Loved the cocktails/bar and cool decor.
It was way too loud after 10 pm in the common area. We couldn’t get the rest we’d hoped for.

This was the most incredible boutique hotel experience. The lobby/bar open concept was the perfect place for us to gather. We were 16 guests and booked 8 of the rooms! Everyone loved their room and we learned so much about the history of the area, the room and why it was the room it was...learning about the history, artists, designers, architects, etc. that put their touches on each room. The staff was extremely professional, friendly and super chill. Great bartenders and gracious host. We loved every minute of our weekend. Even the SEVERE thunderstorm added to the experience. What a lovely, fun place.
We loved it all. One of our guest was older and they just had an elevator installed in their house. They were a little concerned about going up and down the stairs and after one of the delicious cocktails...it's a doozy for anyone. There is no elevator. I have no doubt that the staff would do everything they could do to accommodate all guest. There is a compliant room downstairs and it's very comfortable. (one of our friends stayed there and we ALL got in the shower! It's huge!). However, I would pack light to make getting to your room easier. Once you are there...you are home. It's awesome.

Very pretty decor. Overall nice atmosphere.
Very little privacy if sharing a room. Bathroom ceiling open to bedroom. Rooms are surrounding a bar. Not kid friendly. Beds very uncomfortable and feels like you’re sleeping on a cot

The vibe is one of the coolest you will find. It is upscale and low key with great rooms and lounge with TV’s to hang out in between meetings or to unwind in the evening. Great job!

My mother and I really enjoyed the hotel! We do a lot of traveling and have stayed at many hotels across the world. The hotel is truly unique. The bar staff was very sweet and helpful! We enjoyed Olivia, Molly, and Abby. The beds are very comfortable!
Unfortunately the phone calls made before our arrival made me think twice about my reservation. Chris, who is the manager answering the phone was very unfriendly. Thank goodness I never saw him during our visit. He sounded like he was bragging about the hotel being the most expensive in Florence. Fortunately this is not true. The Marriott is the most expensive. I told him this and he denied it. He should be bragging that the Gunrunner is the highest rated. Also the wood floors are not mopped! They are disgustingly dirty in the rooms! The hotel does not mention it does not have an elevator! Was difficult for my 84 yr old mother!

Open, inviting main area, beautifully appointed room in a rustic-nouveau kinda way. Great bar!
Would have liked a mini, self-serve breakfast bar. The little cafe that delivers is nice, but too late. On an up note, Big Bad Breakfast is not far away.

The rooftop terrace is great and coffee shop below is convenient!
You can hear through the walls.

Cool rock n roll decor
There was a massive water leak from the room above mine, thank goodness it was over the shower area. It lasted for about a minute- but it was weird and I would have been angry if I was in the shower.

Very homey & comfortably furnished common area around bar. Uniquely themed/furnished rooms. Like the convenience of a coffee bar & spa downstairs; great homemade/fresh cinnamon rolls at Turbo Coffee. Walkable location.
Nothing.

The room was amazing and the entire hotel setup was something we appreciated. The bar was quite unique, right out the door from all the rooms and very welcoming. They had a variety of interesting drink options, along with the usual options and the bartender was quite skilled and very friendly.
There was nothing I can say that we didn’t like. We enjoy finding unique boutique hotels and this one will certainly be one of our favorite finds!!
