The house is conveniently located in a complex of vacation homes and rentals on the west side of town. The recliner couches made for a comfortable stay. The house was cool inside even when outside temperatures were above 90. The internet was fast and there are two smart TVs (note though that guests must sign in to apps they want to use). The house is a duplex but the neighbors were quiet. There is no view of the small stream by the house but the West Tomichi Riverside Park is a 2-3 minute drive.

Enjoyed our week-long stay here! Covered front porch great for morning coffee and meals. Quiet neighborhood and able to hear stream next to the house and watch deer walk through the neighborhood. Good location to head out and explore the Gunnison Valley from!

Had issues with the lock. Could not get it to work properly upon arrival. Put call in to manager and they came right away and had to replace battery. Then when leaving could not input code to indicate we had vacated the property. Had to call and let them know we were leaving. The property was as indicated on the web site and was very comfortable. Our family enjoyed it.

Nice location for skiing at Crested Butte and Monarch. Convenient for ice fishing at local reservoirs. House was very clean and stocked with linens & paper products as well as soap shampoo and dish detergent. Would definitely stay here again!

We’ve stayed in the subdivision many times while hunting. This house is at a good location. I like the reclining couches and there is plenty of room in the bedrooms. My main complaint of this particular home was that there are weak floor boards that are so squeaky that it woke up the entire house. This is focused mainly on the downstairs bedroom. Other that’s that it was fine.

Nice place to spend a few days in the heart of the Colorado wilderness. Very comfortable place for my wife and I with 3 bedrooms and 2 Baths, with patio, porch and backyard. Close to everything in Gunnison and 30 minutes to Crested Butte. Quite & private location.

Three days of fly fishing and enjoyment of the sights and sounds of Gunnison. The house was perfect for our needs and we will definitely stay again next summer if available.

The house was very comfortable, clean, and well supported by the property manager. A relaxing stay close to amenities and easy to get to surrounding places of interest. Lots of room for 4 adults. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Large master bedroom with plenty of space and a great location near downtown Gunnison and public parks.

Low key get away for a fly fishing float trip. It was perfect!

We had a wonderful time. House was perfect size. Some of the dishes were dirty but otherwise very clean and comfortable!

Cabin was clean and generally comfortable but was not in working order as advertised. Dishwasher was broken (and had been for some time), coffee pot was broken, grill only got to 200 degrees so had to make changes to changes in our plans/schedule for meals. If things aren’t working you shouldn’t have them listed as an amenity in the listing so people can make informed decisions

Home located on a quiet street. Nicely appointed. Simple home but met our needs nicely.

The house was conveniently located, not too far from the Main Street and quiet enough to relax. Master bed is super comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of dishes and cookware but lacked a coffee pot. Bring your own seasonings for cooking. We were warned before hand the dishwasher was broke and they were working on getting it replaced. There were not many towels but they have a washer and dryer avail for use, which comes in handy for long stays. Overall, we were comfortable and the house was perfect for our stay in Gunnison.

My dad and I stayed here for our 3rd rifle mule deer hunt and it was absolutely perfect for us. Everything was exactly as advertised, very easy check-in/check-out.
Also, wanted to note how helpful Vacasa was through this process. I had previously booked a cabin, and the owners sold it. New owner was not going to honor reservations so Vacasa had to find me a new place to stay. They quickly changed my reservation to this home, and I'm pretty sure it actually worked out better!

While this is a duplex, it was very quiet and we had no issue with privacy. The house was comfortable from the seating in the living room to all the beds. The kitchen was equipped with more than you will ever need, The paper products were lacking, but it was not a big issue. The overall location was great. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Great Escape was an accommodating space for the four of us, while in Gunnison.
The neighborhood was a bit questionable upon arrival, but ended up being a very quiet, and relaxing location.
The nightly sound of the running water adjacent to the house, and the singing birds at first light, couldn’t have been more relaxing.
The duplex was very quiet, never a sound from the Owners next door, and there was a small, neighborhood park only two blocks away on the banks of the Gunnison River that was just right for an early morning coffee, or a late afternoon wind-down.
The home was well suited for our family, with a master suite by itself upstairs, and two bedrooms with a hall bath downstairs with the LR and Kitchen.
The front porch with table and chairs as well as the carport and side entrance were both welcome perks.
The Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for the week. All in all a good fit for our trip to Gunnison, we will likely be back on a future trip.
