This is our 5th time staying at Annie’s beautiful place. It is a lovely home and very comfortable and spacious for my family of 5. We love waking up to the mountains and the view right out the window. It is so nice to be able to walk to various restaurants for dinner, ice cream and morning coffee. There is also a brewery that opened around the corner (which we didn’t have time to try, but it looked busy)! Annie is always very gracious and checks in to see if you have any questions or need anything. The property is decorated so nicely and it really feels like you are on vacation when you are there - so relaxing. Enjoy!!

We booked a 3-night stay with Annie so our preschooler could visit Storyland and Santa's Village. The location is perfect for doing these things - equidistant from both and surrounded by beautiful scenery (we even saw moose on our way home one night)! Annie was extremely kind, even letting us use her own first-aid supplies when we needed them. The accommodations were very nice and the air conditioning was much appreciated in the August heat. If stairs are not a challenge for you, you may appreciate the fact that the upstairs consists of only two bedrooms and a small bathroom, so there is little risk of disturbing anyone downstairs and plenty of privacy when you're above. If you have young children, however, please note that these stairs are extremely steep, which is a feature of the home itself and its age. Annie did her best to make it safe by creating a custom-cut piece of wood that fits perfectly at the top to act as a baby gate (so there is zero chance of anybody falling down the stairs at night), but if your family set-up allows, you may find it more beneficial to utilize the downstairs bedroom instead, which is very nice. The downstairs bathroom is spacious and in a perfect location, so we found ourselves using that one much more than the upstairs one (though both are very functional). One thing to note is that the apartment is directly across the street from a church with bells that toll every hour on the hour - even during the night. Annie did as best she could to block out the noise with the air conditioning system, but you will still hear the bells (and an occasional train, also across the street) if you are a light sleeper. The place itself, however, is in a very cute little part of town, with an art gallery directly beneath and some good restaurants nearby. Our favorites were the Road Hawg Swine Dining (ha!) for BBQ and breakfast too! as well as Scoggins Ice Cream for the largest and best brownie sundae I may have ever had. We could not have asked for a better host and are truly grateful to Annie for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home so we could have a wonderful family vacation in the White Mountains!

We had a great stay with Annie as our host. Everything was clean and as listed. The full size bed downstairs was not comfy for my 6 ft husband but all else was very nice. She gave awesome suggestions of where to eat

Perfection!!! We stayed for the Mount Washington Road Race and a girls weekend and the apartment could not have been any better. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, excellent water pressure and hot too! The apartment is walking distance from the best restaurants, a great brewery, and the cutest shops. Annie is a doll and so helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

A cozy oasis tucked away in the center of Gorham with the best host north of Pinkham Notch, Annie Lake! Everything was perfect. From the cleanest fridge, to the spotless rooms, to the most comfortable and luxurious bedding you ever slept in, no attention to detail is missed by Annie. Walking distance (across the street) to one of the best Italian restaurants in New Hampshire (Nonna's Kitchen)! Lots of businesses to visit in Gorham and a must stop is to see Dee at deSigns and Framing where you'll find that perfect piece to commemorate your visit to Gorham. Our family and I stayed here for a long weekend. Annie was very attentive and thought of everything. We loved the style and setup of her home- everything was very cozy. The Mountain View was amazing! A quick drive to Mt. Washington was perfect as well as a short walk to coffee shop and dinning. Thank you Annie!

A truly special property & host! Annie was so attentive and sweet, even taking the time to check in on us after doing an overnight backpack to make sure we got back safe. The property is something out of a magazine. All clean white wood and farmhouse-style touches. Left so inspired by all the gorgeous work and little design elements Annie did. Truly the cutest apartment I’ve ever been in! My husband and I had such an amazing time that we booked it again for the following year before we left! We are so excited to return to this beautiful, cozy space. And Gorham is lovely, quiet & has some amazing food & breakfast options that we found ourselves visiting over and over again throughout our stay. A truly memorable stay that I’ll cherish forever 😊 Couldn’t say enough good things!!!

This is property is a hidden gem! So nicely decorated and so comfortable. It is a great size for families with lots of room to spread out. I love the location because there are a few great restaurants and an ice cream shop all within walking distances. There are also old trains at the bottom of the street for the kids to look at. There are lots of fun outdoor activities (tubing, rafting, hiking) all around the area to explore. Annie is so easy to work with and very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area. We liked it so much we immediately booked another stay the day we checked out!!

Annie's place was perfect for a weekend stay while we rode the trails around Jericho mountain and parts north. It was very clean and comfortable with more than enough room for 3 adults. Annie is a great host and we're hoping to get back there next year!

Timeless and sophisticated, yet casual and comfortable. Wonderfully restored building and space that has retained its old world charm. You can feel the history as you walk over the wide board floors or soak in the claw foot tub. Great location near the depot and clock tower. We enjoyed staying in a place with personality and a view of the mountains.

The property was convenient to all the hikes we came to NH for, but it was also so cozy and charming that we were happy to stay in during a rainy afternoon. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the owner gave great recommendations.

We are from southern NH and were looking to spend time outside in the white mountains playing. The apartment was a cozy, comfortable place to relax and unwind. Plenty of space for my two teens, husband and I. Almost forgot we are in the middle of a pandemic. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

We stayed at Annies and visited the white mountains! We couldn't have been more blown away with the stay! if you forgot it, shes got it! anything you could need to cook and feel at home she has. shes close to the auto road and not far from North Conway! we even have a 3 and 5 year old and she has it all covered, including a child safe custom built wall that can be moved to block the stairway at night for your little ones! Couldn't imagine a better place to have stayed!

Very impressed with our stay in Gorham! Annie was truly wonderful. Gave us a walk through of the apartment when we arrived. The place was clean, tidy and had everything you could need for the weekend. The area was quiet and had easy access to two of the towns best restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a remarkable place. The apartment is beautifully designed, well-decorated, and nicely maintained. The host is friendly and caring and responsive and makes sure that all needs are provided for, from the basics down to small touches. Appliances, beds, bedding, etc., were all new. The location is great, and parking is right out front. We were there during a heat wave, but the air-conditioning kept the rooms nicely cool. We will most definitely stay here (if available!) the next time we come to the region.

This apartment is super clean, welcoming, and has everything you need for your stay. Annie even provides a hairdryer. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The kitchen is well-appointed. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance which makes for a great location. Annie is a pleasant an accommodating host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location for the skiers in the family! Location and quiet nature of the area was the perfect spot for those in the family that do not ski. Beautifully decorated and clean. Annie was a great host!

Three couples went to Gorham for a snowmobile weekend. We have done a few AirbnB's. This was our first VRBO Experience and it did not disappoint. Great communications with the property owner, Annie. She even greeted us in person when we arrived for our weekend. She gave us a nice little tour through the apartment and made herself available if we needed anything. We wanted for nothing. We had a beautiful cozy, clean comfortable apartment that worked out perfectly for the three of us. A nice living area to gather in and a nice eat in kitchen area where we could enjoy breakfast together in the mornings. Location was perfect for our stay. We couldn't be happier with her overall experience at Annie's beautiful, historic apartment! Every single room had such special touches and a comfortable, relaxing, yet luxurious feel. Annie herself was extremely accommodating and sweet. We came with my two children and a couple of friends to celebrate my 40th birthday on ATVs on all of the amazing trails that Gorham has to offer . It was the perfect upscale the retreat after a long day on the trails . We can't wait to come back again and enjoy this truly amazing place.

Annie's place was great , everything you needed was there , the only thing that made us nervous was everything was white we were there for a atv festival , but absolutely beauthiful ..definitely will be returning ...
