The hotel was wonderful with a nice pool and great lounge areas. Also the two hosts, Fabrizio and Patricia, were very kind and welcoming towards us.

The staff is amazing! very helpful, went above and beyond! The owners helped me with the transfer and finding an amazing tour guide in English.

A beautiful peaceful place with a garden and wonderful bird life. Well located for exploring the Iberia wetlands.Fabrizio and Patricia are wonderful hosts. The rooms are very comfortable and the whole experience is very relaxing. The breakfasts are very good with Patricia’s interesting and delicious home- made jams. The mango and passion fruit was particularly delicious.
The only problem is the gravel road in to Colonia Carlos Pellegrini. We had a heavy rainstorm on our last night and the drive out to Mercedes was extremely challenging. This is not the fault of Arandu however and they were very responsive to e-mails and available to give updates on the state of the road before we visited.

The rooms are spacious, clean and cosy - there was also a book in the room giving information about the area, which was a nice touch.. Everyone was really friendly and made sure we had a great stay. We really appreciated trying delicious local food and homemade lemonade at breakfast! It's the perfect place to relax and to explore the National Park.
Nothing!

We spent 6 nights here in January 2023. It is exactly our kind of hotel and area.
The owners of the hotel, Fabricio and Patricia, and their Augustina, were some of the most hospitable people you could hope to meet. Fabricio worked his whole life in National Parks across Argentina and has good knowledge of the birds and local wildlife, if you have any questions, go to him!
They will help arrange anything you need (boat tours, walking tours, transfers) and look after you like you are family.
The vibe generally is very relaxed, there is a swimming pool to cool off on hot summer afternoons, and a BBQ area if you want to cook at the property.
Breakfast is great, with delicious home made jams and marmalades as well as toast, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, freshly squeezed juice, coffee etc.
The reserve is just a gem. Not too many tourists and loads and loads of wildlife.
Nothing to dislike

The staff were exceptional and very friendly and helpful, especially Sofia!
They could make the inernet connection a bit faster and more stable, but it was pretty good good considering the remote location.

Everything perfect. Very helpful hosts.
A little pricey compared to other equivalent accommodations I have stayed in.

Fabricio and Patricia are exceptional hosts. The premises are beautifully decorated and well equipped for a wonderful and relaxed stay.
Everything exceptional. I am glad that internet is poor throughout the whole Ibera region ... a great way to help disconnect and rest

The Hostería was beautiful, in a great location, with a wonderful and big garden, a nice gallery and pool. Fabricio and Patricia were always available to help and to make us feel at home. Definitely a great place to stay if you need to relax, enjoy nature at its best, and breathe fresh air. We are looking forward to going back!
I liked everything, specially the areas outdoors (which I value the most after such a long quarantine at home). Breakfast was amazing (everything fresh and home made)

Fabrizio and Patricia are fantastic hosts. So hard working and a beautiful place to stay. Helped us with information about trips and has two bikes for use of guests which we really appreciated as I have an arthritic foot. We thoroughly recommend this to anyone staying in the Ibera wetlands.
We loved everything

Overall everything was pretty fantastic. Beautiful property having lovely well maintained garden with pool area and plentiful hammocks. Room was modern, spacious, nicely decorated and thoroughly cleaned daily. We were staying from 24 to 27 December so availability of tours was limited although the accommodation managed to arrange a boat trip on the lagoon for Xmas morning which was amazing. They also arranged for a restaurant to provide dinner on Xmas evening.
We were a bit worried about being able to obtain food when we were there. Prior to our arrival we had been advised that restaurants would likely be open during our stay however this wasn't the case although this wasn't necessarily something the property could have envisaged.
