Patterson's Paradise is a six-bedroom, four-bath home with ocean views, along with two separate living areas, making it an ideal choice for more than one family. Guests can take advantage of beach access located nearby, stunning Atlantic Ocean views, as well as fabulous outdoor space, which includes a screened-in porch with rocking chairs and a patio with outdoor furniture.
The main floor living area features a kitchen, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a great room. The kitchen is very well-equipped to prepare fabulous meals for your guests to enjoy at the ten-seat dining table, or at a smaller table with seating for four. The great room comes replete with a flat-screen TV, seating for seven, and access to the home's screened-in porch, with rocking chairs.
At the end of a lovely day in the sun, guests can retire to one of four bedrooms on the main floor. There is a king-sized bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and closet off the dining area. A second king-sized bedroom on this level offers a flat-screen TV, an en-suite bathroom, and access to a small balcony with ocean views via the room's slider. The third king-sized bedroom also has balcony access and a TV. This bedroom shares a full bathroom with the fourth main-level bedroom, which features both a full and a twin bed.
The second living area is located downstairs and can only be accessed from the outside of the home. It features a kitchen, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a family room with access to a patio with outdoor furniture. The dining area on this level provides seating for four. After dinner, take a walk along the beach or read a good book while lounging on the couch in the family room. There is also a TV on this level. Two-bedroom options await you at the end of a busy day on the beach; both feature queen-sized beds and share a full bathroom.

Very clean, great location and size for the 8 of us. Property management was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Photos don’t do it justice. The layout was perfect for our family. It’s a little bit of a walk to the beach, but a straight one. We would definitely stay here again!

Golf Cart that was advertised had a flat tire. We called and it never got fixed. Ran out of toilet paper. Ran out of hot water while showering. Some articles of clothing were left in one of the drawers from a previous gust. Otherwise, we had a great time.

The house was in a perfect location with amazing views of the ocean. The screened porch was perfect for coffee each morning. The layout of the house, and the updated furnishings made the house a perfect fit for our Family. Great communication with Natural Retreats as well. It made for a Great Thanksgiving.

This was our 14th year staying on Fripp Island and Patterson's Paradise is in my top Two locations to stay on the Island! It was surprisingly convenient in its location to island amenities and the walk to the beach was very peaceful, especially in the early morning and evening.
My family and I had an absolute blast and we all (11) had plenty of space and privacy even when we were all in the house together! Thank you, Natural Retreats for your attention to detail and for making this a phenomenal stay!

This house was a great size and location. For our family. The porch had beautiful views. We enjoyed warching thw storms over the ocean! It had a walkway to the beach very close, however be aware of the mosquitoes after it rains, but thats part of the south outdoors!

Great property. Very clean. We liked the the two separate living quarters. We were pleasantly surprised with a beach access next to the property. This was not included in the description. Minor mix up with island passes but resolved fairly quickly. I would recommend property.

Beautiful beach
Our stay was very nice. The only hiccup was the reservation company, which first sent us to the wrong address, then appeared to be very confused about that, then didn’t have the right door code.
But that was a small issue in an otherwise enjoyable stay. The beach here is pretty isolated and lovely.

Love the layout of the home.
I love the house. We were disappointed that several beds were unmade when we arrived, the tv down stairs did not work, and the cable selections were horrible upstairs. who ever heard of no ESPN? with several sports fan in our group, this was disappointing.The cable wire was lying on the ground outside the property. The handle to the sliding glass to the porch broke, meaning we needed to rearrange the porch furniture to access the porch. My grandson was able to fix it. Over all we had a great time. The house, porch, and steps need some TLC.

Labor Day
Beach house was good and our POC Rachelle was really responsive. The pictures are misleading in that the path shown from the house to the beach is totally overgrown and basically impossible to walk too. Also, even though the house is technically "on the beach" and there is not another row of houses in front, the beach is still several hundred yards away. Also, the back porch steps are weathered and have spots with nails sticky up at least a centimeter. Several people walking barefoot cut their feet. Other than that it is a good house with a good location, the golf cart worked well and we had a nice time.

Gorgeous Home for Multiple Families!
Patterson’s Paradise is an absolutely gorgeous home with a beautiful view of the dunes and crashing ocean waves beyond. Yes, you can really see the Atlantic, and yes, you can hear the waves as you sit on the bug-free screened porch rocking chairs. The inside of the house feels brand new - great appliances in both kitchens, excellent condition furniture, lovely bathrooms, and everything was spotless. Just a terrific cleaning job on both levels, upstairs and down.
However, there is one comment worth sharing about the home’s layout. The description states that it’s great for multi-family renters, and that’s absolutely true. Because there are NO STAIRS inside this house. We were actually shocked upon arrival to discover this fact because the description is vague. The two beautiful levels are fully independent homes only accessible from outside stairs. We planned to put one of our younger kids in the lower level with an older kid... then realized that was not going to work at all since late night visits or emergencies would require going outside and entering through a locked main door.
The location is great as I mentioned, but do note that it’s quite a long walk from house to boardwalk to beach - several hundred yards. And the provided picture of the house’s screen porch side from a boardwalk is NOT the boardwalk that leads to the beach. You have to walk about three houses down (south) to get to the long boardwalk that leads to the beach.
All told, we had a wonderful trip and I highly recommend the house - especially for two small families who want to each have their own private level in which to live.

The description should include the length of walk to get to the beach. Ocean front is not quiet accurate especially when you have elderly family and children unable to walk a mile almost to the beach. The inside of the house was great and we loved the split level for family with kids on one level and family without on another. The outside could use some TLC.

Great week at Fripp!
The house was great! Plenty of room for all. Living area was open and airy. Kitchen was very accommodating. We cooked in every night. Spacious screen porch with beautiful ocean view. Great for gathering, reading and watching the wildlife. We will be returning next year for sure!

Great house in a Natural Environment
We had a terrific stay at Patterson’s Paradise and plan to return. We loved rocking on the porch while watching the deer and enjoying the beach views. The layout of the house with two living areas and two kitchens made it enjoyable for four families. The decor was beachy and fun. This was our first visit to Fripp and was our favorite family beach trip of the last several years.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fripp Island. It never gets old being there.
Our stay was fantastic. Never want to leave. Te house was great, even tho the bathroom with the front( beach side) needs some work on the sink and the tub. Neither of them drained, both stoppers were closed.
