Dan/Gail were excellent.
The suite was spectacular with amazing views, clean, beautiful patio and peaceful. The pool was warm and heated with the ocean and beach close by and was also very clean.

An ideal place to land for a couple of weeks for people who prefer quiet and being a bit removed from downtown. The kitchen is well stocked; you can cook your heart out! The place is clean and utilitarian. Nothing fancy. Great balcony from where you can see the Sea of Cortez. The pictures are a bit misleading. This is a second story apartment in a expat community with houses and RV parking. The pool is in the center of the compound. The hosts are great, helpful and available to explain things or point you in the right direction.

Comfortable place, near the ocean, enjoyed use of bikes.

This was our second stay at Casa Del Sol. We can't say enough about this property and the wonderful host's Gail and Dan. The casa is fully furnished with everything you need. There are kayaks and bicycles to use anytime which is very convenient not to have to rent these through a tour company. The covered deck/porch area is a great place to relax and includes a BBQ for your use. There is wifi and satellite tv also. Looking forward to returning to Casa Del Sol again. Thanks Gail & Dan!

ZERO STARS (app forced me to give 1 star)
False advertising, dirty pillows, non responsive and unaccommodating host. The list goes on.
This is an example of a hidden grenade on Vrbo. Friends and fellow travelers BEWARE. DO NOT believe everything you read on Vrbo listings and DO NOT expect help from Vrbo when a property owner is not accepting fault like this one.
This “little piece of paradise” was more like a little piece of disappointment. We lost out on money and hours of vacation spent arguing with Gail (who can’t spell and has zero sense) and Vrbo with their awful hold times and horrible customer service.
What you don’t read in the reviews on this property is the owner left us with ZERO instructions to get to her place, a wrong address AND wrong pin drop (we spent at least an hour asking locals how to find it and the name of the place wasn’t even correct. Casa del Sol? What is that a nickname for the place? It’s Loreto Shores) non responsiveness until we complained, sweltering heat inside the place (who doesnt at least turn on a fan in 100% humidity knowing guests are coming???), one of the three AC units didn't work (she said they all worked- that is a lie), brown stained pillows everywhere and best of all? The place is in an RV home park not mentioned anywhere in the listing.
People BE WARNED!
PS- after going back and forth with this woman ALL DAY on our honeymoon she said we were blackmailing her because we threatened to leave a bad review and turn us into immigration... we are vacationing. DO NOT BOOK

This is an excellent place to stay in Loreto. Close to town center but quiet and by the sea.

Very clean, comfortable and quiet apartment. Gail and her neighbors were always available to help in any way we needed it. My only complaint is that the shower was a mere trickle for the first few days of our stay and wasn't fixed until our last 2 or 3 days. Never the less, I would highly recommend Casa Del Sol. Very friendly, "neighborhood" feel.

5 minutes from the airport. Quiet and very friendly atmosphere in a secure, gated, clean, condo with all the comforts of home. We will be back.

Gail and Dan have thought of pretty well everything to make staying at Casa Del Sol such a pleasure. A 15 minute stroll or 5 minute bike ride into the centre of the old town and the Malecon. We enjoyed the kayaks and interesting trips to San Javier and Mulege as well as Loreto itself. A relaxing vacation, thank you.

Casa Del Sol is a awesome place in Loreto. It is set up very well with great accommodations. As well, you have use of the owners kayaks and bicycles. The location is a short walk or bike ride into town. The pool is warm and the people are super friendly. The covered patio is large enough to accommodate a get together or to watch the sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. The Casa is large enough for two couples or those with children. The Wi-Fi is very fast and there is even a TV with satellite service. The owners are super nice with lots of information to help you get the most out of your stay in Loreto. The Casa has a private location within the development with no obstructions for views of the water or mountains. We will definitely return and stay at Casa Del Sol in the future. No need to book a conventional hotel as Casa Del Sol has everything and more for your vacation time in or around Loreto. Thanks Gail!

Great views from the balcony. Very good location and Gail and Dan very accommodating.
Only downside is cigarette smoke from patio below.
Everything else was great!

Great place to stay if you enjoy being close to the water like we do. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Home is conveniently located and only a 5 minute trip into town. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends. Thank you Gail.
