About this apartment rental
The comfy king bed in the bedroom awaits your weary, adventurous self. The room is decorated with pretty essentials nodding to a country inn.
The adjacent room via the french doors is a combination living room and dining room. On one side of the room, a comfortable, queen-size sectional allows for both connection and cozy tete-a-tete while you relax by the fireplace and large flatscreen TV.
On the other side of the room, a dining table set for four overlooks a sweet, bistro garden.
The ample shower/bathroom is newly remodeled, as is the kitchen with its amenities at the ready should you wish to create a full-meal.
We have a washer/dryer for you and of course we welcome the furriest member of your family, your doggie, for a small fee, if you’d like.
For those who need a little movie action or a shopping spree, Hilltop Mall prevails 5 minutes away, as does the San Pablo Casino. We are also close to Berkeley’s 4th street shops, the Berkeley and Richmond marinas, Pt. Isabel (for dog lovers and their pooches) and Solano Avenue, where an abundance of boutique stores, galleries, eateries, jewelry stores and dancing spots congregate.
We are a quick ride to Berkeley (10 min.), Oakland (15 min.), San Francisco (30 min.), the redwoods at Muir Woods and Sausalito, Napa and Sonoma’s wine country . We also enjoy the hidden gem town of Pt. Richmond with its plethora of artists, cafes, and easy access to trails on the Bay. If you need public transportation, the El Cerrito del Norte BART station is 7 minutes away.
You may park on the street, free without restrictions or share the driveway with the upstairs tenants.
You will have the apartment to yourself, as well as access to shared washer/dryer and driveway. This is a lower unit apartment, which means there are tenants above you, who are mindful of keeping the noise down.

Getting in and out of the parking space was a nightmare - backing out on a hill with a blind curve. The bed was hard as a rock with some weird canvas cover. I slept on the couch. There were several things that need fixing - loose faucet, loose shower doors and a ceiling drip in the kitchen. Not a fan of forced recycle and composting.

Our stay at the property was pleasant. The apartment was clean and as described. The noise other people mentioned was only an issue once and for a very short time, so not worth mentioning. Very close to the highway and a short drive to Berkeley where you can find lots of nice restaurants. The house book has plenty of useful information and the owner was very quick to respond with answers.

Most everything was as described in website. I didn’t care for the foam mattress; people upstairs a bit noisy walking around, but stopped by 10pm; we didn’t need the tv but the programs are very limited for anyone who does. It was well stocked, although we only ate breakfast there, clean & easy parking. The lockbox was a bit tricky.

Thought fullness by property manager can be seen, but the pans to cook bacon and eggs really sticks bad. Comfortable bed living room Furniture very uncomfortable. The late 4pm check in is a little inconvenience for my traveling needs.

This was a cute, well located house in Richmond Hills. Easy to get to - private SMALL area for smaller dogs to go to the bathroom. Our big dogs didn't have enough room but there was a great trail head not far away at all. Wifi works great, bed is comfy. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook whatever you want. You can hear people walking upstairs but it isn't too distracting.

This was a great find in my own neighborhood. My sister (and her dogs) stayed for a week during a visit, and she really enjoyed it. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the owners were wonderfully hospitable. It's a quiet neighborhood with a local park for walking the dogs. This is the second time she has stayed there. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay. Was here for the holidays visiting family in the area. Host was very responsive. Place is in great shape. A little bit of voice from upstairs but it was quit during quit hours. What you would expect when neighbors are being considerate to your me another. I would definitely stay again.

Unit wasn't ready on time. It was 1 1/2 hours over the time it was supposed to be ready so I had to revamp my plans. Noisy people upstairs with their shoes on so you can hear every footstep. No quiet times for the unit/s. I was awoken by the upstairs neighbor taking a shower well past 10pm. If you're looking for peace & quiet this wouldn't be the place. BUT...if you're looking for a cute, homey place with great walking areas in the neighboorhood you will be happy with the place.

Great place and location. Perfect for two with a dog. Quirky setup, bur worked perfectly. We would love to stay longer next time.

This property worked out perfectly for my wife and I. We were visiting our son who lives in the area and we found this gem located steps away from Wildcat Canyon. We walked with our dog every morning. The property was well equipped and larger than we expected. The bedroom is huge and has plenty of storage. We loved our stay and will visit again.

Cute and cozy, with all the amenities a traveler needs. Hosts very helpful and responsive to our needs. Appreciated the pet-friendly aspect. As for the neighborhood, streets in the area seriously need resurfacing.

We loved our stay here. It's so quiet and peaceful yet still in the city. It rained pretty much our entire stay but it didn't matter. We all had a great time.
