Fred’s a great, friendly, helpful host and we had some wonderful chats. Property was clean with everything you need, breakfast was tasty and plentiful and we enjoyed the cheese platter dinner. The apartment is in a nice location.

Amazing house, surrounded by nature

There was nothing to fault , Fred our host was utterly brilliant, an absolute gem of a place. Certainly the best place we have stayed in recently.
Can’t wait still the next adventure.

The room was good for the family and the host was very welcoming.
4.8
Fred is a fantastic host, very charismatic and invested. The place is quiet and picturesque, and the house is impressive. The breakfast was classical French, but you should also go for the dinner offer - you will not regret it. The stay was better than expected.
There was nothing really.
4.8
The surroundings, the comfort, the host (Fred), the room, the food and the drinks. All was high standard.
4.8
The evening meal was a wonderful experience.

Nice place in the country .Excellent and attentive hosts. The meal supplied for us and four other guests was lovely and particularly the array of cheeses on offer. all enjoyed by all.
only a minor comment, the advertising for our De Luxe room was a bit optimistic, a river and garden view as you had to have a long walk in the garden to even see the river view. but the ambience and hospitality far outweighed any criticism. Avery pleasant experience.

The accommodation is lovely, peaceful and a building full of character. Both our breakfast and evening meal were very good

Great service fred was warm welcoming kind and such a host of the most! Very helpful to us and the room was a sanctuary from the outside chaotic world. Highly recommend going to stay at his place. Not many people offer such wonderful care to their guests so I end it with five stars no seven stars! Cheers Sharon & Matt

Our host, Frédéric was a wealth of information on places to go local and around France, plus made suggestions for French food restaurants. We were not disappointed in his suggestions.
The accommodation was very good, clean, comfortable, quiet and enjoyable. Dinner on first night was very good. Breakfasts were also very good.
Accommodation was central for our needs to tour around the area, including Laon, Reims, and Verdun.

Great food (with a supplement but worth every penny) and the bed linen is top quality. A comfortable convivial and friendly stay, and I will certainly come again if I'm going in that direction. The perfect mix of Parisian style and relaxed countryside. Warm nourishing and restful.
My car was full of valuables and I would have been a little more comfortable to have been able to park it off the road, but this didn't impact my comfort or enjoyment as the little road is not busy.

A brilliant stay with fabulous French character. The dinner meal (CHEESE) was spectacular! The surrounding area was a joy to explore on hikes and the property itself breathtaking!

The house is completely charming with so many unique features like the exposed beams, paintings, fireplaces and beautiful bathrooms. Fred went out of his way to make us welcome and guided us to so many intimate off-the-beaten track places. He was so generous with his time and knowledge.0

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay en route from Switzerland to the U.K. Fred was an excellent host, the accommodation was charming and the dinner and company were delightful. Many thanks to Fred for all the local recommendations too.
Delightful

A most memorable stay at this beautiful B&B! The platter that Fred provided for our dining in was all locally sourced and the champagne too, which was excellent! Wonderful breakfast with so many choices of homemade jams and honey. Our dogs loved their stay too. We look forward to coming to visit again in the future but for a longer stay to explore this beautiful area. Fred is an excellent host!!

Beautiful house which has been carefully and lovingly restored. Warm welcome and wonderful breakfast.
Everything was lovely.

Fred was an incredibly gracious host that welcomed us to a charming Farm House. It felt like visiting family. Lovely place, lovely host, and beautiful location close to Chateau Thierry and American WWI monuments.
nothing. everything exceeded expectations!

A charming, typical french B&B with a very friendly and helpful host, Fred. We had the cold platter on the terrace for dinner which was delicious. The B&B is in a lovely quiet village but only minutes to the motorway , railway and town of Chateau Thierry. Breakfast was also delicious, vast choice of homemade jams and honey, fresh croissants and bread. A perfect place to stop over or base for travelling. Would definately return.

Frederic wants you to adore his place as much as he does and I did! I would move there but my wife was more enthusiastic about the beautiful old outside walls and the lovely round windows!
Room was quirky in lots of ways but has everything you need for a night's stay
It's an old country house so don't expect anything modern!
Peaceful setting in lovely countryside with lots of birdsong
Frederic is very organic and makes the breakfast jams etc
Right on the road which might appear quiet but everyone passing seemed to be in a hurry!
Be careful with your head if you're tall!
Strong "country" smell and all the flies
4.8
beautiful room, lovely big garden, comfortable bed, very clean, friendly host, very picturesque location, nice food
little choice of food at the breakfast, confusing description (there’s no restaurant at the place), located in the middle of nowhere, a little bit expensive for what it is
4.8
Lovely place with really nice and authentic rooms.
Tasteingmenu can also be recommended it was fantastic.

The host was wonderful! The included breakfast and the extra dinner and champagne we ordered were all delicious. Beautiful, quiet property near the autobahn.

Would be great if the place, was all non smoking as you could smell cigarette in the entrance of down stairnext to bedroom.
