Met every expectation we had with our dog and pre-school grandaughter in tow: Sea, Sand and Sun.
Only 20m from the cottage to the sea inlet and moored boats. Peaceful and quiet. 5 minutes walk to the sea front shops and French's Fisg & Chips . Excellent fresh seafood stall, had large dressed crabs. A feeling of history, especially in the cottage. Some magnificent beaches; perfect for long walks when the tide is on the ebb.

Great location and lovely cottage.
The location was superb, right next to the quay but very quiet. Good parking space and the cottage had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We used it as a great base to explore the area. Would definitely stay there again. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Did not like having to leave so early on the last day!

Clean and comfortable cottage in an excellent location, but pets not allowed in the lounge/upstairs
Location was excellent within minutes of the main quay. Cottage was clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and spacious and shower was good. We couldn't get the tv to work properly on the first day but the host arranged for a man to come out to check it and fix it. The weather was brilliant and sea air amazing.
On the Bookings.com website, it said pets welcome, on the Cottages.com site it said pet welcome (please note the discrepancy) but when we got to the cottage, the instructions said no pets in the lounge or upstairs ! As you can imagine keeping a dog couped up in either of the kitchen or dining room, neither of which is the main living space, presented serious problems. I consider it absolutely and completely ridiculous to expect us to keep our dog in a little-lived in room during the whole holiday when you had not notified us of this and suggest this be brought to the attention of senior management to save me doing so and the situation can then be rectified. This spoilt our holiday a little. Whilst I am talking about the dog, you will be aware of the phone call to me on Monday 3 Aug when you notified us of a charge for the dog which had not been on the application. I suggest you review the Bookings.com register as this is how we booked and I was sure I included this. However, also equally frustrating, if not more so, was for 20 consecutive days after we paid the balance and received the note asking to phone a number if we were taking a pet, I did indeed try and phone you every day, sometimes several times. Each and every single time, I could not get through, just being put into a queue. Often waiting for up to an hour before giving up, certainly not much fun eh ? The lady who called me accepted this without question as she knew the phones had been that busy and waived out pet charge, thanks. On reflection, I consider that you needed to buy in extra staff to cope with being inundated with calls as soon as you realised this. As a business, how do you expect to continue providing good quality customer service if we cannot even get to speak to you ? Oh, I did also send an email but that was ignored as well. You need to do some serious thinking. It was a shame that all games/dvds/books etc had been removed although we understood why.
