Solaris Beach House is a double-level luxury beachfront villa located on the beach between Holetown and the famous Mullins Beach. The villa is designed around outdoor living and has alfresco dining and living with a large private deck area. The deck has loungers, a cabana, a private bar, a games area with table tennis, and direct private access to the beach. International designer Celia Sawyer designed this modern eco-friendly villa.
Inside the villa are five en-suite double bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have direct sea views and a private balcony area.
Bedroom 1 has magnificent views over the sea. It has a super king bed, a large balcony area, a dressing room, a separate WC and a large modern bathroom with a shower bath and twin vanity units.
Bedroom 2, like bedroom 1, has superb sea views. It has a super king bed, a large balcony, a walk-in wardrobe, a large modern bathroom with twin vanity units, a large shower, and a WC.
Bedroom 3 is to the rear of the upper level and consists of a super king bed, a large cupboard with hanging and storage. There is a large bathroom with bath, shower and twin sinks.
Bedroom 4 is to the rear of the lower level and has a super king bed and a large cupboard with hanging and storage. There is a large modern bathroom with bath, shower and twin sinks.
Bedroom 5 is on the lower level to the rear of the house and has a super king bed. The modern bathroom consists of a shower, vanity unit and WC. There is hanging and storage space with a chest of draws.
Media Room. On the lower level to the front of the house is the interior living/media room. Designed for working or playing with a large screen, apple, and WD Live. There are also board games and a very comfortable sofa bed should it ever be needed. There is also a desk with a direct internet connection for those who need to work. The room benefits from the superb deck and sea views, so you need not miss looking at the sea even when working.
Gym / Fitness room located on the lower level; the gym offers a fitness bike, a treadmill, a selection of free weights, a bench, exercise mats, an exercise ball and a selection of fitness accessories.
Kitchen: Is very large and fully equipped with a reverse osmosis water supply, microwave, double oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, wine chiller, 240V toaster and Kettle, coffee percolator, and rice steamer.

Solaris is an awesome property, even more beautiful than captured in the on-ine pictures. Cheryl and her staff took wonderful care of us. (Ask Cheryl to make you some rum punch, or Bajun fish cakes, or to fry up some red snapper!) The property is convenient to Speightstown, other local shopping and Oistin's if your are inclined for some night life. But the home and grounds are so comfortable there is really no reason to do anything but kick back, and enjoy the beach and the sun (and Cheryl's rum punch!)

We had a wonderful time at Solaris. The property is as beautiful as it seems in the pictures. The View restaurant located about 5 minutes by car from the property was lovely. There is a wonderful public beach an easy 5 minute walk from the house. All the staff were terrific

A Barbados Beauty
Thank you for an amazing stay. Our family had a wonderful time. Cheryl is a gem, and we will truly miss her. Sadly the time flew by, but we definitely look forward to visiting again. I would highly recommend this property to any of my family and friends. On a side note… Nikita is also very sweet, but a little young and inexperienced for a villa of your standard. There were a few days that were hard to contact her. On our day of departure, she brought I believe to be the owners nieces to the villa to be show them around. We found it a bit awkward trying to settle up our stay while having them hovering about. It would have been more professional if she had brought them after we had checked out. All in all, we felt blessed being able to stay at your residence, and enjoy the kind and generous people of Barbados. Thank you again!

Platinum Coast Dream House
My family loved this home in Weston. It is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the location is accesible and easy to find. The backyard is gorgeous and feels out of a movie and it was lovely to be right on the water. The one downside is the gate and steps leading to the beach are quite worn and could use a refresh, however, that it to be expected of salt water exposure. As wonderful as the home is, Cheryl, the chef and housekeeper, is the true gem of the rental. Her cooking is only outdone by her warmth and kindness.

The most wonderful stay at this beautiful villa
From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the House Keeper Cheryl to the moment we left we loved every single minute. The house is just as beautiful as the images online show if not even more so. The bedrooms are light and airy with fantastic air conditioning, the fully equipped kitchen is perfect and looks out on the spectacular view over the Caribbean Sea. Then the outside living area is just fabulous, there are so many areas to sit and enjoy the view, whether it be at the bar, the the hot tub and chilling in the sofa area. The location of the villa is perfect, the local beach, Reeds Bay is great for swimming and has a beautiful sandy beach. The villa is a great location for foodies, just a short drive to Lonestar and Seashed, as well as many of the other mut visit restaurants. We would have absolutely no doubt in booking this villa again, it is simply paradise and the perfect getaway location. Thanks again! The Grayson's x

Stunning Property
This is a truly lovely property with amazing outdoor space. While it is considered beachfront, the tide doesn’t allow for access much of the day. We didn’t intend to use the hot tub, but it was located in the perfect spot and was not heated, so it was very comfortable all times of the day. The openness of the living space made it ideal for being outside all day and evening without being in the direct sun. We didn’t ever use the indoor living room.
Property concierge was fantastic, as well as the housekeeper.
Would definitely return.

A perfect family holiday
The villa is in a ideal location for swimming off the beach at the bottom of the garden., and for visiting John Moores rum bar !! It is very modern , a great sonos sounds system very comfy beds , big bbq , and has the wow this is amazing factor. I loved sitting in the outdoor seating area listening to the sounds of the sea. Thank you Nick for being so helpful and Cheryl is a gem of a housekeeper , it was our first visit to Barbados and we absolutely loved it.

Breathtaking Villa
Breathtaking villa on the beautiful West Coast. The open plan exterior lounge and dining area leading to the sun terrace overlooking the ocean was simply incredible. Stunning interior design throughout made this a very special stay. Located by Reeds Bay, a really lovely quiet beach with a crystal clear sea, absolute paradise.
Well supported by the team from Young Estates who planned all of our dining and entertainment needs. Highly recommended

Veachfront Perfection!
We were the first guests at the newly renovated Solaris Beach House and were wowed by this property. It is even better than the pics and the housekeeper, Cheryl, is a treasure. Any need or want you can think of will be satisfied to perfection. It is such a relaxing place but close to great shopping, restaurants, and unexpectedly marvelous grocery store, Massy's. You will not be disappointed at Solaris Beach House and we will return.

More Than We Could Have Asked For!!!
Camden Nook was everything it was said to be and more! Beautiful house and views. The beach is perfection. Cheryl was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Really the only thing I would have changed was the work next door but not a big deal.

Lovely relaxed and stylish beachside villa with an amazing housekeeper
We have just returned from a wonderful 14-night stay at Camden Nook for our grown up family of 6 adults.
Having visited Barbados many times over the years and stayed in 5 different villas, I think that we all agreed that this was the best property we have rented yet and we have already booked for a 3-week return next year.
The villa is light and airy with plenty of room for everyone, furnishings are stylish and contemporary without feeling overly ostentatious, good aircon in the bedrooms that works properly, great outdoor space to eat and relax whilst looking at that great view of the Carribean only a few feet away, not many places where you get to lay in a hot tub and watch the sunset over the Carribean ocean every night!
But the very best thing about our stay was our wonderful housekeeper Cheryl, I don't know how much you guys pay her but she is worth her weight in gold!
Cheryl would arrive every morning with a bright cheery "Hello!!"and a big smile, if required she would cook all of our meals and whilst we didn't need her to cook all of our meals she did amaze us with her Bajan hot fishcakes, Chicken Roti wraps, Bajan bakes and chocolate mousse. As well as keeping the villa spotless and doing any washing twice a week her best attribute was just her lovely happy smiley nature, she was always happy to chat whilst she worked and felt like an extended family member come the end of the holiday.
Cheryl also had a friend with watersports eqt. and hired a couple of jetskis that were delivered to the beach, we also hired a couple of paddleboards from someone else for the duration as
we wanted to make full use of the big blue swimming pool at the bottom of the steps, word of caution here as dependant on the sea conditions that prevail , the height of the sand at the bottom of the steps to the beach can alter by as much as 2 foot, so when the sand is high it is a perfect step from the bottom step onto a lovely sandy beach, but when the sand is low there is a 2-foot drop onto a few small rocks that require careful navigation for a few steps until you reach the sand of the beach, no biggie but small kids would find it tricky.
See that the villa is up for sale so just waiting for that lottery win to roll in and we will be buying it !!

Fantastic relaxing holiday-would definitely like to go again
The house was immaculate, he setting picture perfect and our housekeeper, Cheryl, an absolute delight. From arriving in Barbados to sadly leaving we had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend Camden Nook asa place to stay. Easy access to Hometown and Speightstown, wonderful restaurants nearby and a beach at the "bottom of the garden".

A fantastic villa in a great location with service to match
Camden Nook was ideal for us and exceeded our expectations. The villa was beautifully presented and the welcome given by Cheryl, our housekeeper, was superb.
The location couldn't have been better and with two lovely bays to choose from when you walk out of the villa, you really are spoilt. Reeds Bay was however, our favourite with a superb beach and calm sea and very few people.
Cheryl really made our holiday thoroughly relaxing. She was so helpful and very happy to cook for us. It was great to get to know her whilst we all sat and enjoyed her local dishes. Fortunately our three children said that they would prefer that Cheryl cook for us rather than eat out and we couldn't disagree and were not going to argue!
There were plenty of watersports available and you could be picked up straight off the beach. We swam with the turtles and snorkelled reefs and the wreck on a couple of occaisions with Daniel (Summer Sports Watersports - 230 1673) who has a boat in the bay in front of the villa. He was excellent and we would certainly recommend him.
All in all a fantastic and memorable holiday that the whole family enjoyed. Nick and Celia thank you.

Everything we needed and more!
Comfortable beds, loved the water front, enjoyed walking along the beach ...you had to walk through some water to keep going but it felt like an adventure! Loved how only the bedrooms were air conditioned...we don’t like being cold in the house! Most beautiful sunsets!

Blue Ocean, Fish, and Rum..oh my!
Overall, my family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camden Nook. The location was magnificent- with the ocean at our backdoor and a local fish market and Rum bar just steps away. Our children enjoyed the many nearby beaches- all with beautiful, white sand and warm, blue water. Camdem Nook was well appointed and was suitable for the family. Melinda, the house "assistant" was also wonderful.
The only constructive criticism we have is that there were some items at the home that need attention and, had they been corrected, it would have given us an overall better experience. The main one is the hot tub, which was inoperable the entire week- none-the-less, it was still advertised as a nice feature of the property. Other small things like fallen down landscaping lights and general "quality" of the home. Nothing major...we could simply tell this was a rental property and not one's primary residence.
Again, this property and location worked for our family and we came away with a wonderful Barbados vacation experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

Beautiful beachfront Villa
Lovely beachfront Villa with plunge pool. This was our third stay at Camden Nook and it just keeps getting better. Lovely positioned plunge pool jacuzzi overlooking the sea. We had lovely lunches made for us and enjoyed the Sonos music facility.
Camden Nook is well placed for access to the main restaurants on the west coast and we visited Lone Star, the Cliff, Tides all being great beach front restaurants and Nishi in Holetown a fantastic Sushi and Pie restaurant!.
Also we liked Lemongrass (Asian/Thai) and Pepenero (Italian) in The Limegrove being great value.
We did water sports where we were picked up from villa.
Best trip being Calabaza catamaran cruise along with nights to Harbour lights.
1st street on Sundays being a great music street party night with street food also and one love bar serving very cheap drinks.
Tuesdays and Thursday band night at Bar in Chattel village.
Also went to Garrison savannah for races which was great.

Better than pictures!!
Camden nook is amazing! We just returned from a week visit. The home is much larger than the pictures appear. We walked the beach and our best snorkeling was done right outside our door. Had dinner almost every night on the large open private patio. Nick was so easy and great to work with. Wendy was our housekeeper and made our stay extra special with her island tour guide help. We hope to be back !

Amazing
Everything we could want from a beach holiday

Location, Location, Location ...
The villa is located in the perfect position, five minutes from Speightstown to the north and Holetown to the south. All the best restaurant's are within a twenty minute drive, The Cliff, the Lone Star, Daphne's and Tides. The Limes shopping centre in Holetown is only a 5 minute drive, this is also the same for the Supercentre supermarket which is situated opposite the Limes. The villa is situated on one of the best beaches in Barbados, it is quiet and unspoilt , we were able to swim with turtles just outside the villa gates !! We also had regular early morning visits from green monkeys running along the fence and through the garden.
Not forgetting to mention the villa comes with the best housekeeper and cook. Rosemary is a truly remarkable lady and made our family feel very much at home from day one.

Paradise
Camden Nook ! What a place ! we had a fantastic time we swam and snorkelled on our own reef outside the villa from sunrise to sun set, the kids had the time of their lives just playing on the beach all day. The villa garden and deck area became our living room we sat out each evening and took in the tranquil sky's with the accompaniment of the the sea breaking on the beach at the bottom of the garden. We swam with the turtles and took jet skis along to Wholetown. The local fishermen and inhabitants where very friendly and kind to us and helped us with making deals on the boat trips and jet ski hire with the local beach vendors. We bought fish from there local market and fruit from the stall next door all at very reasonable prices.
At evening times we sat out on the porch drinking Rosemary's rum punch, which is the best and we drank many bottles.
Rosemary is the house matron and she makes the best rum punch in Barbados she is a very kind and thoughtful women who made our stay most happy and memorable, she invited us into her family and into her church and we took her into our hearts, she made the most fantastic evening meals which would have cost a fortune in the restaurants further down the beach.
The house manager Andrew is a very kind man who give us much information on where to go and to eat and he made sure we had everything we wanted and that our stay most pleasant.
We married on the beach just out side the garden gate

Rosemary is the house matron and she makes the best rum punch in Barbados she is a very kind and thoughtful women who made our stay most happy and memorable, she invited us into her family and into her church and we took her into our hearts, she made the most fantastic evening meals which would have cost a fortune in the restaurants further down the beach. The house manager Andrew is a very kind man who give us much information on where to go and to eat and he made sure we had everything we wanted and that our stay most pleasant.We married on the beach just out side the garden gate Thank you to Nick and Celia for allowing us to sample paradise.We will return soon Sonja and Norman

“An amazing, "like a local" experience in Barbados.”
We had a great stay at Camden Nook for our wedding and honeymoon. The house is ideally located on the west coast, north of Holetown. So you are close to all the good restaurants, bars, beaches and so on.
From the moment we arrived, we we extremely well taken care of by Rosemary, the housekeper. She was there to greet us upon arrival and was always around when we needed her...and not when we didn't. Her fresh grilled fish lunches and special rum punch were some of the highlights. Not to mention she was especially helpful to my wife and her girlfriends for their preparations on our wedding day. I can say that based on stories from our friends, none of their housekeepers came even close to being as welcoming and efficient.
Also, we took Nick, the owner's advice and got in touch with Trident Wines. Moment's after arriving, Emir had us stocked up with any kind of beverage we could possibly need. Also, they supplied the drinks for our wedding and even referred us to an amazing caterer/chef (Cressida Dawson).
So simply put, we were able to immediately kick back and enjoy the holiday and the beach - which is right out the door. We felt like locals from the first hour. That's how a holiday should be.

We have stayed at Camden Nook on many occasions over the past 4 years. We highly recommend this place to all. The house has all the amenities and for creature comforts you could wish for, and highly recommend car rental for Island and restaurant exploration. Very clean and comfortable, especially as wonderful maid, (Rosemary) always keeps it spotless. The beach at the back is great and the water is crystal clear. It is very private, enough so for all-over tanning, but not isolated to the point that you feel completely cut off from the world. It is very SAFE place, and as beautiful as it gets. Swimming is a joy and can get right out without concern. This place is great for groups, families and couples and anything inbetween, We are already booked for this year!! Nick and Michele
