We’ve been visiting this lake house for four years with our family, which includes two children in wheelchairs. The property is incredibly accessible, and we’ve grown to love it so much. The amenities are fantastic—there’s a spacious doc overlooking the lake with great fishing, a cozy fireplace for chilly evenings, and a well-equipped kitchen perfect for family meals.

We really enjoyed our stay at La marina. It is a beautiful location . If privacy is important to you this is your spot.
The cabin/house is clean, spacious and well appointed.
There is room on the dock for all your water toys.
Madison the Host is a pleasure to deal every step of the way.

Madisons home is spectacular. Perftectly laid out, anything you need is there. Weather was a montage but there's plenty of space to play cards or build puzzles when the rain comes in, wait a moment, then it was nice again.
The boys loved rowing up and down the river in the provided row boat. They caught and released a lot of fish.
Great location, we went to the Tonasket fly in on a whim, fun, made friends with the coffee shop across the street, NAPA up the road will never forget my father inlaw (in there daily saving our boats), the grocery store and country store a block away, what a great community.
La Marina is such a welcoming place and will be forever in our heart, can't wait till next time.

Everything you need is close. Beautiful hikes close by. Back yard is perfect for outdoor fun on the water. Even some beach sand. Kitchen has everything you need for a big meal and view to the lake. We had a great time!

We truly enjoyed our stay, start to finish. The convenience of the grocery store a plus. We did wish for an umbrella for the deck tables as the morning sun was quite intense. Overall, we absolutely loved the property and the quiet peaceful nature and atmosphere.
Ice cream store nearby in town.

We just returned from our fifth year at LaMarina. This is a one of a kind property that is very private and yet close enough to walk to dinner in town. We spend most of our time fishing, but the lake is not crowded if you like water sports. We will certainly be back!

Had a great stay. House was spacious and very livable for 2 couples and 2 teens. Loved the large deck overlooking the water and easy access for paddle boards to come and go. Lots of fun wildlife watching — deer, beaver, birds kept us entertained. Great to be able to have our family dogs be able to join us. Madison was a very helpful and responsive host — though we didn’t really need much as the house was we’l equipped and the grocery store was 2 min away. Would love to visit again. Thanks!

Beautiful spot on the water, right in town and very convenient. The house worked out great for our family group, and being able to have our dog with us was a rare bonus. The deck on the water is a great feature and we all enjoyed fishing for bass right from the dock, as well as the lake and river. Thanks for having us! Good chance we will be back!

We had an amazing week at La Marina. We decided a couple days into our stay that we would book again next year. The view is beautiful, and the location is so peaceful. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, watching wildlife on the back deck, playing in the sand, swimming, and so much more. We loved the location and all the amenities that were minutes away - a grocery store, a boat rental company, the state park with a public beach. The house was lovely, had some fabulous updates to the kitchen and bathroom, had a large family room, and was stocked with all that we needed. Maddison was very accommodating and responded to any questions or requests almost immediately. This has been our best VRBO experience!

This is our fourth year at La Marina and we absolutely love it here.
La Marina is on the River, although for WDFW regulations it’s considered the lake down to Zosel Dam. There is little water traffic and no neighbors. Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of parking. Gas, groceries and restaurants are within an easy walk. The house is great with plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers.
Madison is very responsive if you need anything and they upgrade the property every year. This year it was a new door on the master bath, new BBQ, upgraded Wi Fi and a face lift for the kitchen.
We hope to continue vacationing here for as long as it’s available!

Weekend on the lake
The location and house was better then we expected. It’s across the street from the store for any items we forgot. The property was nicely taken care of with a nice lawn for kids and dogs to play. The water view was peaceful until the kids used the dock or beach access to play in the water. We will come back maybe during the summer months to enjoy the water more.

Beautiful Home with a ton of space
We stayed here with family and friends over Christmas. The rooms are spacious with a large dining table. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner provided a large roasting pan for our prime rib xmas dinner which was excellent. The view is unbelievable, we watched 6 bald eagles nesting on the river.
We can't wait to be back in the summer.

Excellent Location for families
We really enjoyed watching the wildlife go by from the deck and dock. This property far exceeded our expectations. The owner even gave us new pans, fresh cucumbers, and fresh farm eggs. The only drawback was the smoke from the wildfires.

Our third time at LaMarina
This place is great and the owners are wonderful people. The location is great because it’s within walking distance from shopping and restaurants and it’s off the main lake so it’s quiet and private.
You can walk right out to a private yard that is just a few feet above the River level with plenty of dock space for your boat. We are able to bring our dogs and there is plenty of space to play fetch and swim, for us and our pets.
We look forward to our next stay at LaMarina!

Waterfront Property?
If you or your family booked this trip based off of pictures of a house on a beautiful river with immediate access to Lake Osoyoos don't be fooled. Ask the home owner to send you pics off the dock before you go. You cannot swim around the house, there are 4' weeds surrounding it and no place to park a boat the water is so low. If you own a boat be prepared to fight with your outboard or worse, pull weeds out of your grate constantly if you own a jet boat. The house isn't special, it's a 3 bedroom rambler with hideabeds and the town is dead too. We wasted a lot of money on this vacation so don't rely on the pictures you see online to make a final decision. If you haven't booked this vaca already or can get a refund I would, the Canada Wild Fires are horrible right now too.

Relaxation Paradise
We had a wonderful time and were able to relax and unwind. The water so warm! Even though it was too hot for fishing we had a great time tubing on the lake and floating on the river.
The house was laid out perfectly for our group of 4 and the views are amazing!
Madison was quick to respond with any questions we had and it was a pleasure to meet her Dad Jerry, who lives on the property. He stayed to himself but was fun to visit with and had a vast knowledge and history in the area.
If you're looking for a quiet spot in a beautiful location this is the place for you.

Relaxing week on the lake
La Marina is a great property, nicely set up for a medium to large family. The house is well maintained and the floor plan is really great. The large family room with big windows facing the water is perfect for everyone to hang out, the bedrooms are nice sized and private from each other. The internet is slow but who cares, go enjoy the sun :)
The house is on the head of the okanogan river, right where it starts flowing from lake osoyoos. The water is nice and deep in front of the dock, but the depth varies greatly in the nearby water. This was great for paddle boarding, and is deep enough for jet skis, pontoon boats etc. However if you were going to bring a deeper hull ski boat I would be very careful as there are some very shallow parts between the house and the lake.
As nice as the property is, it's a shame the dock is in such sad shape. My kids both hurt their feet on the various screws/nails that are sticking up. Definitely bring some water socks or something to keep on your feet while you are on the dock. The swim ladder, fishing pole holders and little sandy beach were really great though.
It seems the pandemic hit Oroville pretty hard as most of the restaurants are closed. The burger joint across the street and the brewery were the only ones open when we visited in June 2021. We tried to eat twice at the brewery but they were full both times. Definitely plan on eating in most of your meals. The house was pretty sparsely supplied, we had to go buy toilet paper, paper towels etc. Not a big deal but these are things that are typically supplied with a vacation rental.
It was really great that the house is pet friendly, and we loved having our dog along with us. Do note that the house is on the main road in Oroville and there is no fence to stop Fido from getting into the road. The speed limit is low but traffic was fairly constant. The noise is minimal when you are on the lake side of the house, but pretty noisy if you go to the side or back.
Overall this is a good property that could become really great with a few small improvements. I would not hesitate to book another week!

Family Riverfront Fun!
This is a very unique waterfront property located at the headwaters of the Okanogan River at the south end of Lake Osoyoos. Looking out at the river is an incredible natural setting with tons of wildlife, yet you are only a short walk to restaurants and stores in Oroville. Great for family fun as long as your kids are safe around the huge, wrap around dock area. You might have good luck fishing off the dock! The house is pretty spacious for two families. Some updated finishes/furnishings but other elements are a bit dated and could use updates. We spent a lot of time outside and exploring the surrounding areas. I'm not sure how large of a boat you can tie up at the dock as from the park boat launch you have to pass over a stretch of river only 3' deep. We saw pontoon boats, large bass boats and jet skies pass through fine so know your boat draft. From the house dock you can travel up into Lake Osoyoos if you can navigate the shallows.

Beautiful scenery
This vrbo was beyond our our expectations, we have a annual Mother’s Day weekend and have stayed all over the place but I think this one is probably our favorite, plenty of room, walking distance to stores and completely private while in the house and enjoying the lake, we’ll be back!

Peaceful stay
We enjoyed our COVID safe trip to Oroville over Spring Break with our family of four. It was great to be able to cast right off the dock for fish. The house was clean and well equipped. Madison, the owner, was very responsive. Loved the view of the river from the home. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The house is close to the main road but is situated below the road so you wouldn't even know it when out in the backyard and on the waterfront.

Fabulous view, amazing dock!
This house is your ideal lake house. The house has such a wonderful bright view to watch the sunrise through the floor to ceiling windows each morning. The dock was great for relaxing and fishing, we caught Smallmouth Bass and Perch, most were too small to keep but it kept us busy.
The town of Oroville was very quiet, we did mostly all of our own grocery shopping and cooking since the restaurants were limited the summer of 2020.
The host was very helpful with any questions that came up during our stay.

Great location and relaxing vacation
This spacious comfortable house Is located right on the river and mouth of the Osoyoos lake. Quiet location but right in town close to a grocery store, a few restaurants and the local brewery. There is a tenant that lives on the property but he is in a separate building and gives you full privacy (however he will help with any questions). Madison is a great host and very attentive. We biked, water skied, hiked, and relaxed on the deck. Having our two boats docked right on the property was great. We will be back.

Summer Fun!
We have been vacationing with friends every summer for almost 20 years. We all agreed this was the best trip. The house is set up for great public space as well as privacy in the back bedrooms. It is right at the head of the Okanogan River, so swimming, floating, paddle boarding (and golfing off the dock!) were easy and safe. My trip highlight was morning coffee on the back deck watching the birds of the estuary. The house is situated in the best of both worlds- slow, warm river with a dock so you and kids can play all day AND you can get to Lake Osoyoos by boat in a minute as it is the first house on the river away from Lake Osoyoos. Communication with the owner was easy and immediate (and friendly!). This house is set up for fun on the water, it is not high end luxury, but it is the best location for water fun from dawn to dusk. We will be back!

Great Stay
Madison set us up for a super visit. She explained all we needed to know. Jerry who lives on the back of the property was a fun person and we later learned it was Madison's father. He advised on fishing and gave us a history lesson about the area. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of chairs and kitchen furnishings. Everyone enjoyed the use of the row boat and paddle boat. Jerry surprised us with a large bucket of golf balls and all enjoyed hitting them off the dock. Caught a couple of bass adding to the fun. Plenty of wild life to watch.. This is a super place that one can keep coming back to for enjoyment.

Relax and recharge at La Marina
Our family had a wonderful time at La Marina. It’s a very private spot and close to grocery store and downtown. We brought our river tubes and anchored them from the dock and enjoyed sitting in the warm water soaking up the sun. We also had fun fishing from the dock - bring your gear! Our dog loved the big yard to chase his tennis ball. A relaxing and quiet vacation, just what we needed. Thank you!

Another great year at Lamarina
Our family loves this place. We had our granddaughter, daughter and son in law, son and his friend. We also had four dogs. Relaxing, clean, close to supplies, away from water traffic so it’s quiet. We will be back again!
