About this apartment rental
Nature's Landing is one of Cedar Key's finest condos. With a communal pool, a balcony for every unit and amazing views this is sure to impress!
***IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to Hurricane Helene, the pool, hot tub, elevator, and dock are currently out of order. We are assessing the situation and will provide a repair timeline as soon as we have more information. ***
Cedar Key is one of the oldest ports in the state, and when Florida's first railroad connected it to the east coast, it became a major supplier of seafood and timber products to the northeast. Today it has become a haven for artists and writers who find the unspoiled environment inspirational to their work. Many people visit each year to walk the historic streets browse the shops and galleries, explore the back bayous and enjoy the world-famous restaurants featuring seafood fresh from local waters. Annually, about 100,000 visitors come to enjoy the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts in April, the Fourth of July Celebration and the October Seafood Festival, as well as our Christmas Celebration, and recently Annual Pirate Invasions!
In addition to excellent fishing, bird-watching and nearby nature trails, guides are available to take parties for off-shore trips to the outer islands. A public marina with boat docking is available.
Federally protected sanctuaries, the Cedar Keys form a chain of barrier islands ideally suited to a vast range of migratory and shore birds, including the elusive white pelican, roseate spoonbill and bald eagle. The variety of natural habitats, from salt marshes to Indian shell mounds, makes this truly a nature lover's paradise.
Visit us in the Heart of Florida's Nature Coast, a recreational paradise. We are a small, relaxed, island community located three miles out in the Gulf of Mexico. Rich in small town flavor, it is said Cedar Key is the Island community where time stands still. Cedar Key is located on Way Key, the largest island in the "Cedar Keys".
The Cedar Keys make up one of the oldest bird and wildlife refuges in the United States. With its rich history and natural beauty, you may not want to leave!

We enjoyed our time in Cedar Key. The unit is really nice and found ourselves using the stairs because of convince. The internet access was better than expected and kitchen dishes were well stocked. No soaps and minimal paper products we were able in unit. Solved by a quick run to local grocery store just down the street.

Enjoyed our stay!
Short stay but enjoyed the condo very much! The unit was clean, the view was beautiful, and the location was great! We were able to walk to the small park and beach, the stores and restaurants. Also did an easy 45 minute drive to Manatee Springs and Fanning State Parks. Would recommend and stay again.

Clean, convenient, perfect
We've done weekend stays at Cedar Key several times with my family and this rental was our favorite. Location just perfect for a family with small kids (mine 6 and 8) because you're a short walk to the playground. Also love that it's tucked away slightly. View off balcony amazing, had everything else you need for a perfect stay. Thumbs up from all of us.

Nature-lover's Delight
We could not have had a more enjoyable week! Great view from the condo included birds of all kinds, low and high tide. The early morning walks on Nature's Landing's path/boardwalk, complete with resting benches, were the best - visits from roseate spoonbills, white pelicans, great blue herons, anhingas, doubled-crested cormorants and many more. The condo was wonderful - clean and comfortable, very nicely decorated, kitchen and baths well-stocked, king bed perfect, secured Wi-Fi, wide cable package, great view. We were an easy walk for good food and fun things to do in the little town with lots going on - 2 historical museums, watch and meet local boat builders, local art, Elvis impersonator performance benefiting dolphin project, boat tour of the Cedar Keys. A short drive to other nature attractions in the area added to our enjoyment. What a great week!

Fabulous location!
We had a great experience with this particular unit C304. Great views both front and rear, well stocked and comfy beds, including the pull out couch. We'd rent this unit again in a heartbeat and McCormick was very easy to work with. When checking in, grab the bottle of Skin So Soft from Pam! You'll want it to keep the no-see-ums at bay. Fishing from the very end of the old railroad bed behind the property is pretty good with live bait. We took our boat and parking was easy. There's a dedicated boat wash area that is great, but tends to become boat parking on the weekends, so access can be difficult at those times. Easy 5 minutes walk to Dock Street and downtown area. Really accessible and a great location overall. The pool is small but very clean, and the property is kept up well. You won't be steered wrong to rent one of these end units. This particular unit is on the far right end of the complex so very quiet with no noise from the pool area, and is beside a beautiful backyard of the adjacent home next door. Cooking utensils were plentiful although we never cooked. Towels were soft and plentiful, as were linens, etc.

Super location and a nicely furnished condo!
We attended the UF/Idaho game in Gainesville but it was an easy 1 hour drive there and then back. Rather than pay the high hotel costs, we enjoyed a spacious condo with top floor views of the estuary and within walking distance of the Cedar Key seafood restaurants and our favorite breakfast spot, Annie’s. Second time that we’ve done this trip - always worthwhile.
