This delightful Lakeland terraced cottage has very much the country chic feel about out.The owner has made great efforts to blend modern day living and quality furnishings together in this beautifully decorated cottage.
Tucked away in a quiet side street off the centre of the bustling village of Bowness, you will find Beaumont Cottage. This is a perfect place to base yourself for exploring all that the lake district has to offer and you could even leave the car and utilise the local transport services, with a bus stop just at the end of the street and Lake Windermere a short stroll away, where boats can be boarded for access to Ambleside and Lakeside as well as Hawkshead and beyond.

From the entrance you access the cosy lounge with sumptuous corner couch, electric fire and Smart TV. The hallway then leads you to a bright and modern dining room with quaint window seat, additional flat screen TV and comfortable dining for four on those evenings you choose to stay in and cook rather than be tempted out by the large selection of pubs and restaurants in the village. A modern and well equipped kitchen, with access to the rear enclosed courtyard which has secure bike storage and ample space to sit and enjoy dinner alfresco or a glass of wine on those warmer evenings.

Upstairs to both colourful and comfortable bedrooms, kingsize to the front with ample storage and flat screen TV and a cosy twin room to the rear, next to a bright and fully tiled bathroom with a full sized bath to soak away those aches after a long day on the fells or in the shops and shower unit above the bath.
Beaumont Cottage ticks all the boxes for comfort, coziness and location and the personal touches and attention to detail certainly make it a "Home from Home" here in the Lake District.

My family and I had a great time staying here. House was centrally located, near all the tourist attractions and hikes! The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Instructions were clear and wanted for nothing. Will definitely stay here again!

This little cottage was easy to find and is right amongst all the little shops and restaurants in Bowness. We found it to be a convenient location for everything we wanted to do in our short stay in the Lake District. The cottage itself is cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Unfortunately it was too cold and wet during our stay to use the small outdoor space, but we enjoyed the view out the back of the cottage over the little stone-walled yards of all the adjoining cottages.

Really enjoyed the stay, helped by lovely weather. Lots of road cycling around Langdale, the Struggle and Coniston. Lovely swim in Easedale Tarn. House was as described and the photos were accurate. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, Shower was fine, seating in lounge was great. Only downsides were - the curtains are the typical holiday home ones - thin as paper and don't keep out the 4:45am sunlight at all. The lounge TV is tiny. However apart from those two areas, that could be easily sorted out - I would give the house 10/10.

Originally booked for a sailing trip with my local club but my wife was not up to it. The location was good to get about with the wheelchair using local public transport and restaurants.

The cottage is immaculate and excellently presented with lovely decor. Although it has a town centre location the street is very quiet with no through traffic which makes its location perfect. It is very homely and well stocked with everything you need and more. It is maintained to a very high standard with everything working perfectly. We had an amazing stay and really didn’t want to leave which says it all.

We enjoyed a fantastic break in the Lakes, as a family and all communication with Tracy was perfect to set us up for a great few days. Her cottage is beautifully furnished and great for us a small family, with a lovely dining area and lounge to spread out. The board games were a great touch and provided entertainment when at home. We pretty much left the car in situ for a few days and enjoyed the buses and local amenities, so it is definitely in a perfect spot to explore. Plus, there are a lot of great restaurants just down the road. Will definitely be returning and already looking at calendar for next year. John

We found the cottage lovely, clean and comfortable. Location is excellent and just a short walk into town. You do get a parking permit which allows you to park on a few streets and there are other streets with non permit parking nearby but on the whole we found parking a bit difficult unless we got back early each day, but that's just because it's a busy town. Couldn't fault the cottage and had a lovely stay.

A great place to stay for three people. The location was excellent, while the cottage itself was clean and comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. Fresh bed linen and towels halfway through our stay were a particularly nice touch. Would happily recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Bowness!

We had a lovely stay in this traditional Lakeland cottage which was equipped beyond our expectations and very cosy and comfortable. Nice quiet location and a five minute walk at most to the centre of bowness. Would definitely recommend a stay here but just be mindful the parking can be tricky despite the permit. We had two occasions we couldn’t get parked but were able to park nearby on the main road and left it there overnight instead as this fell outside of the restricted hours . Would definitely return as the cottage itself was faultless.

The cottage is gorgeous, beautifully decorated to a high level and very modern. Beds are extremely comfortable, so always a good sleep. Kitchen full of modern appliances, beautiful, modern bathroom. Fantastic central location. Parking problematic on the same street but we parked in the other locations that were advised. Owner was lovely, great comms with Tracy. We had an amazing, restful stay and will definitely book this location again.

We had an amazing time whilst staying in Beaumont Cottage. It is ideally located and spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend this property. Unfortunately we forgot to close the windows when we left which was stated in the terms and conditions of the property. Any guests should remember to check the details relevant to the check out process as we missed this! Overall great stay

We have stayed previously in another of this agents properties and we went back because we knew they were good! Very clean and well kept. Really feels like home here, and no negatives really. The only slight pain on this street is parking as it’s almost impossible to get a space anywhere near the house, but if you like a short walk you will always find somewhere to dump the car! Highly recommend.

The house was in a good location, quiet and away from all the tourists. We were there to do some hiking in the lake district and found the location to be very good. The house was nice and had what we needed. Terrace could use some green plants. It had a magic washer/dryer in one machine. Magic.

The cottage is as how it was described. It has everything we needed in an accommodation. It’s very clean, comfortable and the location is very convenient if you want to explore the other parts of the Lakes. Booking process was also very swift. The only thing was our parking space got hijacked by other visitors when we went out for the day. We had no choice but park at the very end opposite the last car in front of cottage 22. Other than that, everything is perfect!

Very central to everything including several cafes, grocery stores, liquor store, restaurants yet very quiet. The cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything - nice dishes, pots, cutlery. Great to have some basics like spices, sugar, tea bags, laundry soap which I find rare for many Air b&b’s. Water pressure in shower is great! Lots of tv stations, books, games, nice decor, comfortable, warm. Nothing more to say. Thank you Tracey.

Lovely place, nice kitchen and living area. Mattresses are comfortable. Great location. Only comment (a small one) is bathroom faucet handles are difficult to use.
