Maison de la Tour is an entire town house located in the oldest part of Antibes were the Romans settled over 2000 years ago. The area is pedestrian and very residential, yet, just 3 minutes walks away from the Provencal market, restaurants, bars and of course the sea and public and private beaches.
From the exceptional sun kissed roof terrace, you will be able to enjoy a 360 degree view over Vieil Antibes, the sea , the mountains and even Nice and Cap Ferrat. The stylish lounge/dining area, which comfortably sits 6, has wonderful dim-able lighting for the evening and a large parasol to protect you from the sun during the hotter hours of the day. It is the perfect place to have breakfast, dine or just relax after a day on the beach away from the crowds. The large Weber gas barbecue allows you to have grill parties "with a view" and there is even an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Maison de la Tour retains many period features like white-washed wooden ceilings and beams, oak doors, terracotta and traditionally painted cement tiles. One of the rooms even has a vaulted ceiling and an antique fire place. This gives the house a wonderful Provencal and contemporary feeling.
Each of the double bedrooms is designed to accommodate your individual requirements (“chambre des drapeaux “ has 2 twin beds 90x200, “chambre des rames” has a brass king-size bed 160x200 and “chambre de l'ancre” has a brass super king-size bed 180-200). Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The one of the chambre des rames has a bathtub with a shower and a bidet, whilst the other two bathrooms have large shower cabins with rainwater showers. They all have retro-chrome fittings. The finest Egyptian cotton linen and high quality towels, including beach towels and beach bags have been chosen for your comfort and we provide complimentary luxury toiletries. Each bed room has a flat screen TV, a DVD player (multi-regional), Apple TV and a subscription to Netflix. Wifi is available throughout the house including the roof terrace.
The large modern living gourmet kitchen/dining room is situated on the 3rd floor, just below the roof terrace. It has been equipped with high end equipment and tools enabling a chef to prepare a perfect meal with local delicacies bought in the nearby Provençal market. It also includes 2 large fridges, one of them a Liebherr with an ice maker to ensure that you can enjoy properly chilled drinks.
Naturally every room has reversable air-conditioning and there is a laundry area with a large modern washing machine and a dryer.
Located 4 minutes walk from the house, a public parking offers 3 levels of parking space with prices that are tailored to your stay.

we spent 9 days at this lovely getaway. Interior - beds were perfect (and I'm very picky here), A/C present in every room and worked like a charm, kitchen well appointed and prepared. Stairs were not an issue for us although some might struggle with the 4 floors. Exterior - the outdoor patio was used each morning and evening and gave lovely views of the surrounds. Would have liked to turn off all the lights outside (Persied meteor showers were in full swing) but couldn't figure out how. Proximity to morning coffee and boulangeries and fresh market couldn't be closer and easy walk to two great beaches. Host provided beach towels and beach bags. Overall, cannot wait to return specifically to Antibes and this location. Relaxing and perfect.

Our stay was all about food, culture and beauty. This townhome made all of those so easy to enjoy. With the market & the beach just steps away, memorable dining in the town and museums such as the Picasso museum a 3 minute walk.
The home is well equipped for cooking the incredible foods from the market and the walkability made staying home bound more attractive than going on excursions most days!

This house is right in the middle of the old town yet in a quiet location. The house is perfect inside and has a gorgeous room terrace with amazing views. We stayed with our teenage daughters who loved being so close to town and also near the beach. Highly recommend it.

This place is magical. The location supreme, the house itself is appointed perfectly. Communication and assistance was excellent. My entire group did not wish to leave! I am definitely coming back. A fabulous trip!

Perfect place to stay in Antibes!
Book this place! This is probably the best vacation rental I have ever booked. Fantastic location (steps to Marche Provencal and to the sea), impeccably clean, well stocked kitchen, lovely terrace with a stunning view and comfortable beds. Ivan is a dream to work with, so kind and professional. The car park is maybe a 10 minute walk from the apartment
The first floor is the twin room with fireplace. The bathroom for this suite is downstairs with the washer and dryer. The next floor is the double bed with an en suite bathroom (tub, shower, toilet and bidet.) There are 3-4 steps up to the toilet/bidet/shower. The next floor is the master bedroom with a bathroom right next door (toilet and shower). The top floor is the kitchen and living area. with the stairs up to the terrace.
We didn't use the twin bedroom or downstairs bathroom, but the other beds were amazingly comfortable. The water pressure was great also. We didn't cook while there, but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked.
I can't say enough good things about this space and Ivan. If it's available, just book it! I hope to come back to Antibes in the future and will absolutely stay here again if I can.

We absolutely loved our stay at the townhouse. The location is perfect and the home itself is beautiful and has every amenity one can think of. The views from the roof terrace are spectacular. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent apartment in Old Antibes with boutique hotel type amenities!
Amazing apartment the Old Antibes! It felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel. Three big bedrooms each with full bathroom. We stayed there with 3 couples and everyone had their own level and was very comfortable. Each bathroom had hotel amenities (blow dryer, shampoo, shower gel). Beds were extremely comfortable and high quality linens. Fully equipped kitchen. Best part of the house is the amazing roof patio with views of Old Antibes and the water. Owners were very responsive and great to coordinate with. Were helpful during the stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Antibes. It is a very special and beautiful apartment!

We had a wonderful week in this fabulous home. Perhaps one of the highlights of our visit was dinner on the roof top terrace...the perfect place to spend an evening with family. A very special house
Our return to Maison de la Tour was as perfect as our first visit. Everything, the fixtures and fittings, the bed linen, towels and the outside furniture on the terrace is of the highest quality. Ivan, our host, is superb - his thoughtfulness and attention to detail is second to none, nothing is too much trouble. The beautifully furnished house is like a home from home - we settled back in immediately and can't wait to return next year!

A very special place
My sister and I have now enjoyed 5 wonderful holidays at Maison de la Tour. We love its location in the beautiful old town , where everything you need is just steps away and yet it is quiet.
It is very well furnished, equipped and maintained so is extremely comfortable. We especially love to spend time on the roof terrace enjoying the amazing view of mountains and sea.
Ivan is so welcoming, friendly, considerate and helpful. We can't wait to return...

Beautiful Place with Hidden Problems and a Bad Ending
This is a beautiful place in a great location with 3 bathrooms an a nice kitchen. On the outdoor deck at our first night dinner meal I sat down on a chair and fell back against the guard rail. Later when I took my shower the handle of the valve fell apart into the tub. And the next day my son mentioned his shower in another bathroom would not drain properly. On our last day we received a notice from our travel agency warning us of travel disruptions due to the rail strike. We were forced to leave early and were completely distracted by strike causing cancellations to most trains from Marseille that day. After later communicating with the property owner, he informed us he was charging us 600 euros for the broken chair which my family did not cause. I certainly feel he took advantage of us and warn others he can not be trusted.

Wonderful townhouse in perfect location
This house is beautiful! You could spend your whole time on the roof deck if there weren’t a million sights to see in the area. There are 5 floors total with the roof deck - so lots of stairs - but lots of space and everything you need for a perfect holiday. Ivan is a wonderful host - always got back to me quickly with any questions - and very helpful when half of our group got delayed checking in by travel mishaps - he made sure family members got checked in and settled. Don’t hesitate to book here! Antibes is a perfect base to explore the area.

Fabulous House in a Fabulous Location
We had a wonderful stay in Maison de la Tour. The location is fantastic, the house is clean and fabulously decorated, the many stairs a well-need "workout" with all the eating and drinking. I can't say enough about what a great place this is. We arrived to meet Hannah, who gave us a rundown of the place and left goodies, as well as grocery requests we made in advance. She had some great restaurant suggestions, as well as tips on the best mode of transportation for various day trips. Thanks, Hannah!
I wish I could rave about the weather, but, February in Antibes may not be the best time of year...
Would love to go back. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!
First of all, Ivan is a fantastic host. We arrived late, but he patiently waited for us. He helped us arrange transportation to the airport and checked in on us throughout our stay and is just extremely pleasant and caring. Upon our arrival he had a bottle of wine waiting for us along with a platter of local delicacies! The location of the apartment couldn't be better - close to beaches and the old market with lovely top floor views of the old town and the sea. The kitchen was well equipped as was the entire house. We had a great stay!

A beautiful place to relax in Antibes
My family and I had a lovely stay at Maison de la Tour. Ivan is a very gracious host who helped get our holiday started in just the right way with a welcome platter of savory and baked goods from a local Boulangerie. The townhouse is extremely well appointed with everything we needed for a week next to the Mediterranean. The sunsets from the top terrace are spectacular to watch. A local market and lovely shops are just steps away. Be sure to stop by Café Milano for a delicious meal. We loved our time in Antibes and Ivan went out of his way to make it feel special.

Beautiful home with an exceptional host.
The house is quite accurately pictured in the listing. What's not apparent until you get there is how thoroughly and beautifully equipped it is. The host spared no effort to make everything as perfect as possible to suit our changing configuration of guests. I have rented many charming places around the world through VRBO. None topped this for quality, completeness and ease of quickly addressing any issue that came up. Bravo Ivan for creating and caring for this exquisite seaside home. It's perfectly located near the daily market and close to a remarkable collection of wonderful small restuarants. We brought our sailboat to Port Vauban for our stay, so day sailing was a primary activity. It hardly gets better than having a lovely day on the water, capped with cocktails on the roof deck with its sensational view.

Beautifully renovated 17th century home, steps from the local food market and many great restaurants in Vieil Antibes. Rooftop terrace has phenomenal views of the Mediterranean and Antibes. Beds very comfortable! Ivan is extremely helpful and provided great recommendations for activities and assistance with reservations! Would definitely stay here again!
We've stayed in MANY holiday homes all around the world and this rates as one of the best we have experienced! Beyond the couldn't-be-better location (proximity and character) and lovely house, Ivan has provided so much attention to detail to make this the model for all rentals. Creature comforts abounded from Apple TV and Netflix in all rooms, to high end kitchen appliances and cutlerly. Even the shampoo and body wash in well designed bathrooms.

Charming, comfortable and well-equipped pied-a-terre in a wonderful location
We spent a week here enjoying Antibes and it's surrounds. This house is a charming base from which to do this. There are so many great things about it, it's hard to know where to start!
The location is superb. Within a couple of minutes walk you can be shopping the fabulous Provençal market, sipping a coffee or beer in a sidewalk cafe, picking up a great bottle of wine for dinner, or standing on the sea wall looking out at the waves.
The house is delightful, charmingly decorated throughout, comfortable and well equipped for gourmet cooking amazing meals with your market purchases. The roof terrace with its great views and comfortable seating is a great escape at the end of the day to relax in.
Antibes itself is great walking town, you really don't need a car here, and there is lots to do in walking range, or you can take the "petit train" to Juan-les-Pins for a change of scene. You'll be getting plenty of exercise between strolling around, and climbing the stairs of this house - from the basement to the roof terrace you'll be climbing five flights of stairs!
Finally, Ivan was a great host to us. He greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, with some thoughtful gifts, and lots of help.

Au coeur d'Antibes, a deux pas de la plage, dans un quartier calme, la maison est décorée avec goût, très fonctionnelle et pleine de petites attentions délicates: sacs et serviettes de plage a disposition par exemple, petites bougies pour dîner en amoureux ou produits pour la douche de bonne qualité. La literie est confortable et la cuisine très agréable pour les gens comme moi qui aiment cuisiner! Notre hôte est très sympathique et on a vraiment l'impression d'une maisons d'amis.

Tastefully decorated and imaginatively renovated
It has everything you look for: first, and most important, a helpful and friendly owner (well traveled, multi-lingual and interesting to talk with); second, a wonderful place, an old townhouse, completely renovated and imaginatively furnished with five floors (allowing privacy) and the best rooftop terrace in sight – an outdoor dining area with grill, giving a 360 degree view, over the Mediterranean, the rooftops of Antibes and the Alps in the distance: and third, the perfect location - on a quiet cobblestone pedestrian way in the center of old town - allowing you to explore every nook of old Antibes – two minutes from the central market, four minutes from the Cathedral, 3 minutes from the Picasso museum, 10 minutes from the beaches. (I joked with the owner that I was tempted to make a negative comment because I wanted to make sure it would not quickly become so popular that I would not be able to rent it again.) If the use of superlatives seems excessive, they are warranted. The stay was five star in every respect.

Perfect Location – Beautiful Home – Wonderful Views
What more could you ask more – positioned within the old town, this beautiful home is only a one minute walk to the covered markets, a few minutes to Antibes beach and a few more minutes to the Antibes shopping precinct. All three bedrooms have their own bathroom so whilst we were a family of four with grandparents, the home would work equally well for 3 couples. The beds are super comfortable and the linen and towels first class. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could want for and the dining/living area relaxing and very well decorated. As for the roof terrace: well we virtually lived there. Yes the views are fantastic but it has also been well equipped to make a very comfortable eating and relaxing area. It was just wonderful to go up there to watch the sunrise over the water and then return again at the end of the day to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset over the hills. We did of course get out during the day: there is so much to see on the Côte d'Azur by using Antibes as a base.
Ivan was the perfect host in every possible way, going above and beyond our expectations. Finally, there is secure covered parking available at a reasonable cost only a 5 minute walk away which if carparks were graded, is as good as they get.
We had a fabulous stay at Maison de la Tour and hope we may find the opportunity to return one day soon.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im schönen Maison de la Tour. Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen, um die Altstadt zu erkunden oder zum kleinen Strand zu gelangen. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen herrlichen Blick über die Dächer von Antibes bis hin zum Meer. Das Haus ist sehr stilsicher und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und es ist alles sehr gepflegt und sauber.
