About this apartment rental

Perfect location for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The unit is on the second story with great views of the beach and park. There is a dairy and cafe right across the road and the beach is only minutes away.
Onemana beach is patrolled during the summer holiday period and is a safe swimming beach. There is good surfing in the right conditions but most of the time it is pretty calm and better suited for kayaking, SUP and snorkelling. There are plenty of walking trails around including a great hike to secluded beaches that can be accessed directly from the unit. Whanagamata is about a 10min drive and about 10min in the other direction is Opoutere, both of which have a boat ramp (although Opoutere is tidal and not suitable for larger boats).
We have been coming here for years and highly recommend it!
The available cot is a camp cot which is folded away in the cupboard.
The unit is fully equipped for self-catering, and certain basics are provided for the first few days. After that, guests need to replenish their own supplies.

Just loved it! It's not often that places are better than you expect from the photos, but this is one of them. A small space but it's well laid out and the corner site is great. The location is fantastic, and Onemana is so wonderfully relaxing. Whangamata is just a short drive away if you fancy a bit more, so nice to come back to the peace and quiet of Onemana. We all had a great time - me, my teenage son and his friend - exploring, swimming, fishing, a bit of surfing and lots of chilling. Monika is a fantastic host! So helpful, friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

The Bach is very spacious, clean and comfortable with very good amenities. We loved the Onemana community and it is very conveniently located for visiting the Whangamata area. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Very quiet clean modernised apartment by the beach. Had everything we could possibly need and sea views! Monika and Neville are fantastic hosts. Photos on book a Bach were out of date - now 2 very comfy new beds in the 2nd bedroom in place of the bunks.

Had everything we needed and was great having full kitchen with decent oven. Loved been able to pop next door to cafe to get coffee and ice cream and having access to the local pools! We hope to see you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay at this Onemana holiday unit. Found the property to be as good if not better than advertised. The unit was well maintained & had everything we needed. We found it to be a very relaxing & quiet place to stay. Close & easy access to the beach, community pool, restaurant/bar & dairy. Will be staying again & fully recommend to others, you won’t be disappointed

We had a fantastic time away, shame about the weather but still recharged the batteries and had an awesome view from the deck to see the massive waves and moody weather. Grateful for the smart TV to watch a movie and the board games we were able to play. Unit was extremely clean and tidy. Hospitality was lovely. Fast communication. Awesome location. Will definitely come back.

The apartment is perfectly located with a short walk to the beach, tennis courts and swimming pool. Monika went out of her way to purchase board games for the unit in case we had a rainy day. There was something for everyone …. A perfect spot for a relaxing holiday

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even found the place to be nicer than shown in the display photos. One minute walking access to the Onemana beach with a beautiful view from the balcony. Hosts were so awesome and the place is so clean with many amenities. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again, thanks so much!

We wished we could have stayed longer in this very comfortable apartment. It had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. Parking so easy. Beautiful views to the beach and lovely peaceful Onemana. Perfect location for a stay to attend a wedding in nearby Opoutere. Monika was so welcoming and a fantastic communicator, a wonderful host. Great batch in an epic location. Monika who looks after the place is super friendly, let us check in early and very helpful. We would highly recommend this place and hopefully we will come back and stay in the future. Very high standard of cleanliness and even tea and coffee is provided for free at the property.

My family absolutely loved our stay. We are from Wellington and were craving a low key gorgeous holiday to regroup and relax and that is exactly what we got at this property. There was nothing missing, the location, facilities and hospitality from the hosts was so much more than we expected. It was amazing. We just hope we will be lucky enough to get this property again next year.

We wanted to stay close to a beach and that is what we got. A short walk and you were there. We had the best time. Unit was upstairs which meant the little kiddies could not run outside but otherwise it was just perfect. This is the first time we have not cleaned a property as the fee was inclusive. Apologies Monika we did not clean the bbq as was requested. Realised on our way home. Highly recommend this unit which had everything we needed.
