About this vacation rental
Sea View Mews is a semi-detached property, next to the owner's home, located well back from a B road and surrounded by fields. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The owner's friendly dogs live next door in their own secure area.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has ample storage, a fitted wardrobe and king size bed, with delightful rural views of the village and beyond. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin and is between the master bedroom and twin room. The latter has zip link single beds which can be made up into a large super king bed if two couples holiday together. The second bedroom has a large fitted cupboard and velux window with rural views.
The Mews has it's own entrance, porch and hall with a good sized dining kitchen off the hall. The kitchen has a table with four chairs, electric double oven, microwave, ample storage cupboards and drawers, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle and a sea view to enjoy whilst doing the washing up! There is a connecting door to the games room which has a table tennis table, pool table and table football. This also holds the washing machine, drier and ironing board with steam iron. Visitors may keep their bicycles in the games room.
Upstairs is the sitting room with a 40" smart tv, with complementary netflix, board games, books, two leather 3-seater settees and side tables. The large bay window shows off Filey Bay from The Brigg to Speeton Cliffs and you can watch the ships sail by! The two bedrooms and bathroom are located off the sitting room.
Outside Sea View Mews has off street, private parking at the front of the property with space for a maximum of two cars. There is a private patio to the side of the property which catches the sun for most of the day, with garden furniture, including two reclining chairs. There is a small lawn close to the patio which could be used for games such as badminton, croquet. or bowls. One dog is welcome and there is a small charge during low season.
If you like country properties containing a mix of vintage and modern furniture, with a seaside/rustic atmosphere then Sea View Mews will be perfect for you. Waking up, everyday, to the spectacular view of Filey Bay is reason enough!

Very clean and very comfortable a lovely welcome pack and the owner had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make our stay comfortable

We had a brilliant weekend here! The cottage is really cosy, and very well equipped, there's everything you need and also warm. The view from the window to the sea is absolutely stunning! The photos don't do this cottage justice to be honest. The owners are very welcoming and nice people. The local Chinese food takeaways also deliver to the property which is a good bonus. We would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you 😀

We received a very warm welcome from Zoe, whose house adjoins the rental property. Despite the houses being joined, guests access the rental via a different door so the property has the advantage of being private, whilst still having the benefit of the owner next door in case of any problems. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Zoe, who was an extremely accomodating host. The property has a nautical theme and the many homely touches meant we settled in and relaxed immediately. For us, two huge plus points were the outstanding sea view from the bay window and the games room. The property is well situated for visits to neighbouring seaside towns and you can walk down to the beach in Reighton in around 15 mins. There is a bus stop less than a minute walk from the property if you do not fancy driving - we made use of this after walking to Filey and then the weather turning on us! A great stay at this property, we would highly recommend it.

Great location for exploring the East Coast of Yorkshire. Lovely quaint cottage with a nautical feel, felt like a home from home. Clean & well equipt. The games room was a wonderful addition for entertaining our daughter and to top it off it had an amazing sea view. Would definitely recommend & will book again if visiting the area.

Our stay at Sea View Mews
Lovely little holiday accommodation. Spectacular views from the lounge window. Only drawback is there was nowhere to get a drink or meal out without having to drive. Other than that it was perfect!

Fantastic views enjoyed from the panoramic lounge window, great games room for older children, nice stroll down to the beach and along to Filey. Well located for exploring East Riding.

Think we upset owner by arriving to early (never spoke to us all week)
Property everything you would want ,but local amenities (pubs)poor out of three
1 full booked 1 not doing food and one closed due to illness. Guess we picked wrong week ,be prepared to travel for food ect .Otherwise very enjoyable break.

This was the first holiday we’ve had since 2019 and we only stayed here for 3 nights, but it was worth the wait! We were so lucky to find such a lovely property in such a great location! Our 2 year old loved visiting the seaside, and it was so convenient to be close enough to get back in time for an afternoon nap. I was slightly concerned about the stairs beforehand, as we live in a bungalow, but Zoe (the friendly owner) provided a stair gate, and it actually turned out to be good practice for our little one. We would love to return some time (although it unfortunately, and understandably looks to be fully booked for next year).

Thanks for a lovely short but sweet break. Everything was catered for and my boy loved all the toys!

Lovely place. We might come back next year if checking in time changed to at least 2pm and checking out of 12noon at least instead of 3pm -10am for overnight stay. 3 Hours is a great time for more fun in that place. Swimming pool and gym should be till 10pm so we can use it too after swimming in the beach. Just saying

The host Zoe was very welcoming and friendly. We loved where the property was situated and the fantastic views. The games room in the property was an added bonus and also been able to have use of a pool nearby was great.

A wonderful quiet location
Zoe the owner lives in the adjacent part of the building. Quiet location. Accommodation well equipped, clean and tidy. Lovely view of the sea and filey Bay from the 1st floor lounge. Just 1/2 mile walk down to the sea. Just 15mins drive South is RSPB Bempton cliffs , we visited several mornings in our May visit whilst thousands of birds were nesting. If you want more activities perhaps for kids, both Filey and Bridlington are nearby. Burton Agnes Hall is a delightful rare house with many Elizabethan features
furniture a 'family art collection' that spans centuries and styles, lots of knowledgeable guides, delightful gardens and stuff for the kids including adventure play area. Cliff walks near Flamborough head and woodland walks in places like Danes Duke. Sorry our holiday day was only 5 days, but at least going May /June we caught the magical breeding seabirds including a few puffins , garden and wild flowers.

We had a week in this very comfortable cottage, and were very lucky with the weather.Zoe had left us a pint of milk, bottle of wine, a large bottle of Elderflower presse and some cookies - all were very much appreciated. The cottage is spacious and well equipped and there were lots of cleaning products - important in these Covid times. There was also the added bonus of Netflix and the games room. Our attempts at snooker were woeful but it was great fun. The sea views were a real tonic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
