Could be a very nice property, but needs to address an ant situation in the downstairs. Patio had old flip-flops, hose not put away, turned over furniture, etc. Very well equipped kitchen and house was clean. Went out to the dock and the bench was broken.

Celebrated Thanksgiving holiday w/family and friends. Enjoyed our stay!!

Don’t hesitate to book. The pictures don’t do this property justice. Beautiful and serene

This house is the bomb. The photos do not do it justice. And a wonderful location with water view and places to walk around. We will be back!!!

We had a great stay. The house was just as described--neat, clean and stylish. We will definitely stay again.
4.8
THE PROS:
1. Located in a Private Golf Course Community
2. Big and Open Combined Living & Dining Space with High Ceilings
3. Beautiful Water Views from the Main Level and Two of the Upper Level Bedrooms
4. Private Dock (right behind the house; short walking distance)
5. Conveniently Located (close to grocery store, restaurants, and Annapolis)
6. Quick Response Time from the Homeowner (It was a little hard to lock the door from the inside.)
7. Large Windows
8. Early Check-in Time!
9. Lots of Recessed Lightning
10. Nice Outdoor Space
THE CONS:
1. There was a premium cleaning fee; however, we were responsible for stripping the beds and taking the trash to a community trash area.
2. The stove, microwave, and toaster oven were not clean. It reminded me of the time, I stayed at a friend's house in Maine. We bartered for my cleaning services. When paying a premium rate, this wasn’t expected.
3. The stairs are beautiful but on about the 12th step and up, the incline is not the same as the other stairs. Had to keep a keen eye out on the children. Not great for those with disabilities, or elderly people who may have trouble climbing regular stairs.
4. There is only one TV on the main floor living room that was not easy to operate. It would have been nice to have a TV in the game room.
5. One of the beds is very small. My guess is, it is a child's custom-made bed. My petite13-year-old and 8-year-old granddaughters could not sleep together. One slept sleep on the floor.
6. Two of the bathrooms were extremely cold even though the house temperature was set at 72 degrees.
7. There was no cabinet space to store our groceries or snacks.
8. The bench at the end of the dock is broken. A sign noting that would have been helpful. It's a bit of a hazard.
9. We were informed we could not enter or exit the from the main entrance; only the mudroom.
Overall we did have a lovely stay.

We rented this house because it was right down the road from our fishing charter in Stevensville. Great location, away from the bustle of Annapolis, but close enough to visit. It was quiet and sitting outside drinking coffee in the morning was amazing. It's a great find and would definitely recommend!

A very nice house tucked in a private neighborhood. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, and the home itself was clean, fun and perfect for our group. Would 100% recommend to others!

The photos give a sense of the dramatic architecture of this house with a focus on the staircase and the kitchen and main room. But our jaws still dropped when we first entered the house. Our family of 4 including 2 kids ages 9 and 11 thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. Given Covid, we ate at home (and had picnics at the various beaches/parks we visited) and made most meals in the beautiful kitchen that overlooks the main living area. (Curbside pick up of groceries from a nearby Safeway was pretty hasslefree.) We ate, read, sat by the gas fireplace, watched a couple movies on one of the big screens - all in the main area. We also had a blast playing pool and foosball in the entertainment room upstairs. Watched a DVD on the big screen there just to try out the theater experience. Bedrooms each had a private full bathroom. There's a small walkway behind the house that leads up to an estuary - not set up to use as a put in if you bring your own kayak/paddleboard. (Instead, can put in at the small community beach.)
The kids enjoyed riding their bikes and rollerblading on the bike paths in the community alongside the road and golf course. We spent some time most days at the small community beach with the kids playing in the sand. Given the season (end of March/early April), we were usually the only ones there. We also spent time at the nearby Terrapin Nature Park and made two outings to Ferry Point Park - highly recommend, especially around low tide when a massive inlet of the shallow beach is exposed.
We got take out a couple times from local restaurants (Kentmorr; Hemingways) for crab cakes, etc.
[Safety note: For the house, given the long, steep, curving staircase made of smooth wood (dramatic and beautiful as it is) and with the bedrooms all being upstairs, in addition to small children, I would not recommend that seniors who are concerned about their balance stay at this house.]
For all others, it's a gorgeous home to relax and play!

We booked this house for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. The house is breathtakingly stunning! We felt very luxurious staying there. They clearly still use the house, but were very communicative about what was available and what was off limits. We found everything as they described, with a few things not working, but supplemental items available. Tooba and her daughter were very east to communicate with and responsive to a variety of requests and questions. Loved not having to bring all of our own linens and things. We were happy to pay the cleaning fee to not have to deal with that annoyance. I would not hesitate to rebook this house!

A Dream Weekend
This property is exactly as advertised and we had a dream weekend! The best part was a day at the private community beach located in the community. The owner, Tooba, couldn't have been more warm and accommodating! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful unique home. The owner was very informative and accommodating to our needs. We had an issue with the low batteries on the home security alarm but the owner was able to correct the problem very quickly. The home was very lovely on the inside but a little disappointing on the outside. The landscaping was overgrown with weeds as well as the dock to the waterfront which was disappointing since our intent was to spent a lot of time by the water. There is a public beach near by which we used frequently also. The upstairs gets a little hot since the owner does not want the temperature to below 75 degrees which can make it a little hard to get to sleep. All-in-all our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property.

This property is beyond beautiful and unique.
Beautiful home, amazing community, truly enjoyed our stay. Home owner was very attentive and always responded immediately with any questions I had. My family truly enjoyed our visit.

Disappointing
The property is not waterfront. It’s not close to St. Michael’s. The beds are beyond uncomfortable and the appliances are difficult to use. Refrigerator and closets were full of owners’ things with little room to spare. Would not recommend.

25th Anniversary Getaway
We found retreat in this beautifully constructed home with all the amenities necessary to feel pampered. Beautiful views along the Chesapeake in a quiet golf community. We went to Annapolis and St Micheals from here for afternoon/evening outings. The owner, Toobah, was great about communicating and providing us with all the info we need for a wonderful stay. We would definitely book again for an elegant getaway.

Gorgeous design and gorgeous, relaxing location for our honeymoon plan B
We were supposed to get married over Memorial Day weekend, and while we were disappointed we couldn't have a big wedding with all of our friends and family, we still went ahead and had a private ceremony. We'd also planned to be in Paris for our honeymoon, and of course we couldn't do that, either.
Instead, we decided to make the short trip to the Eastern Shore, and we found Tooba's impressively designed and located house. If you appreciate design and architecture while you're vacationing, you should definitely check this place out. We enjoyed the nearby dock, where we watched ospreys diving for fish. The game room/theater room is another great feature. Last, but nowhere near least, Tooba was a very gracious host who left us a couple of treats that we really appreciated.
We wish we were able to take better advantage of downtown Stevensville, which is about a 15 minute drive away, where everything was still closed. It's also too bad the restaurants in the Kent Narrows are still closed. We couldn't get delivery from anywhere but KFC and a fro-yo place, so I drove to a few places to get food. Both restaurants (Knoxie's/The Market and Annie's) were very good.

Bright, Open Space in a Beautiful Setting
From check-in to departure, we felt "at home" and really enjoyed our stay. The setting is beautiful, and the architectural design of the house was very impressive. Our host was very kind and helpful...if we ever have a chance to stay in the area again, it will be here!

Church Leadership Retreat
Absolutely Fantastic! Beautiful home away from home! Serene atmosphere! Pleasant community!

Beautiful setting; clean home
This home had very comfortable bedrooms, quiet and peaceful location. There were not bicycles available that I saw as the listing shows, so bring your own- there is an amazing path to ride!
I would have felt more comfortable with using an empty closet to hang my items and fewer notes “do not open”- I felt I was really invading someone’s privacy.

Tooba was a welcoming and informative host throughout the entire booking and stay processes. The home is beautiful and very well equipped and maintained, the photos are spot on! The location was perfect for our needs.
