Great stay at Amalia Cottages

Location was great, Amalia was very close to Agios Gordios beach with all the sea front restaurants. Lots of alleyways and shortcuts around the resort, a local map was provided. Large parking facilities right outside the gates (although we had taxi transfers, which took and collected you directly to and from the gates). We used the back gate and gate through Sea Breeze Hotel to access the beach and used their facilities too. Very friendly and great service in their restaurant, bar and beach sunbeds. Loved the large patio garden with sun-loungers, it was very hot and the owner bought us more umbrellas for shade. Kitchen facilities were good, large fridge freezer for all our provisions. Beds were very comfortable. Great Wi-Fi inside and out. Completely enjoyed our 4th stay in Agios Gordios at Amalia and would stay there again.

It was our third stay in Amalia and hopefully not the last!

The location is fantastic and the outside space is huge. The beds are comfy and the air con works.

There is hardly any worktop to prepare food on because the kitchen is so small.

Clean, comfortable, well kept house and surroundings. Hot water, air conditioning, beautiful terrace with a seaview. Good communication with owner. Very close to the beach which is perfect.

We cooked our meals in the kitchenette,. You have to be patient with the electric cooker and owen, but there are all the tools and kitchen items at yours disposal. An outdoor cooker could be useful in the evening.

Peaceful Amalia.

We loved the peaceful location, moments from the beach and bars.

Not enough room to prepare food, but tbh it was OK for us we ate out every night, so many amazing restaurants

amazing time, we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

location was amazing, minutes away from the beach and shops! super cute cottage, very clean when we arrived! very accommodating and great communication our entire stay.

instructions on a few minor things could have been a bit more clear, we didn’t realize the fob needed to be in its slot for many of the devices to work, and the hot water switch was not labeled clearly.

Amazing location near the beach with very responsive and helpful hosts.

Amazing location that is very quiet at night and we were always able to get a good night's sleep while also being able to be at the beach in 3 minutes.

The location near the sea is great, the resort with many restaurants is pleasant.

We visited this accommodation (Amalia House) between 29.8. to 6.9. and we must especially warn families with children to book this accommodation. There was an enormous amount of wasps in the garden. The accommodation agency refused to solve this problem. They said there was nothing they could do about it. They also said that 60 wasps per 3 square meters of garden is normal in Greece and that we should burn coffee. Believe me it doesn't work. Burning coffee works for a smaller number of wasps in the restaurant (we tried it that and it was ok). Using sun loungers and eating lunch in the garden are impossible in such an environment. Accommodation has other defects, which corresponds to the price, but the photos of the offered accommodation should be more current (there is not as much greenery in the garden as the photos show).
