Good location . Warm inspite of being older house. We all had our own spaces which is what we 3 needed.
Windows could do with a spring clean Maybe .

Easy check in. Host (Andrew) was lovely. Accommodation exceeded my expectations. Great location, close to the city centre, 3 min walk to beach and cafes. Heater in every room. Rooms are big, very spacious. It's feels like home away from home. Highly recommend.

Big rooms wifi good
Very cold house dust on curtains no smoke alarms on busy main road
Web site showed sea views but it was a street back !! False advertisement!

Very close to the beach with a park and an impressive sea wall. lots of cafes.
The older style of the house means the rooms are really spaceous and even the hallway feels open and big.
The kids and hubby loved having a homely house to stay in rather than pokey hotel unit.
very clean, heaters in every room and the owner very kindly posted some things back to us that we had left there :)

Great location and spacious house.
Could have done with some TLC, no dishcloth or sponge to wash and wipe surfaces. Old shabby sofa.

We ended up with a couple of extras at short notice and Andrew was happy for us to accommodate them and add them to the bill.
We were advised of a forgotten pillow and pick up was sorted for that (we were still in Dunedin)

Communication with the hosts was great, house was warm, comfy and quiet. Reasonable rates, off street parking, good location - great for families, good experience thank you.

Perfect for larger families. With a king bed and four single beds split amongst three bedrooms, splitting up the kids becomes easy. Great value. Close to the beach and a cluster of restaurants. Clean and full of all the things you'd expect of a house this size. Just a short drive from central Dunedin. We only stayed a night so weren't able to make much use of all it offers, but this would be a awesome option for longer stays and one we'll certainly make use of.
Master bedroom gets a bit of road noise but this didn't affect the kids and we probably only noticed it because we ordinarily live in a cul de sac.

The whole house was spotless, lots of space, in a great quiet location, close to restaurants and the beach and tastefully decorated. There were heaters in every room, a very effective heat pump in kitchen/living area, lots of hot water for showers & a parking space on property. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was very comfortable and family orientated.
I hate to complain but we were asked to remove sheets from beds before we left and I was uncomfortable finding that there were no mattress protectors, woolrest or something similar between the sheets and mattresses. This didn't feel very hygienic. Also, our apologies but we had lit the fire (which we were very excited about) before we found the note that we shouldn't be using the fire. Also noticed no smoke alarm in main bedroom.

We made this booking around an hour before we arrived and were absolutely stoked with the location (around 2 or 3 blocks from the beach) and close to St Clair cafes and playground which was perfect for our wee daughter. The house was perfect. When we arrived it was warm and the heat pump worked well at keeping the property warm. The hosts have also put in radiators and warm blankets in each room which was an added bonus (but as the duvet was so warm we didn't find we needed to use them). We loved this house and it was perfect for our wee daughter who is nearly two - lots of space to run around inside and there were even baby plates and spoons which was an added bonus. We had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay - the only thing we could have hoped for was extra time. We loved the location. It is close to the road but quiet and ideal for grabbing a morning coffee. We'll definitely be back!

Older but very nicely renovated house. Great location, pretty quiet and roomy.
Only comment around this would be only one queen size bed in one bedroom, other rooms only had single beds.

Real nice area to stay at and close to the water which was a cool site to be near.
That i didn't stay longer

We loved the location, so close to the beach and an easy stroll to 4 square for supplies. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I've looked to try and book again, it's a great place. Thank you 😊
There was a note asking us not to lean on the back of the dining chairs. So we didn't use the dining table in case we broke a chair. Would've preferred sitting at the table for meals.
