About this apartment rental

The Caprice is located in a private, family oriented community three (3) miles north of Bethany Beach, DE and 1.5 miles south of Indian River Inlet and the Delaware State park. Easy access to Rehoboth and Ocean City and of course, the Inlet for fishing and recreational fishing. There is a large, wide beach, which is among the nicest, if not the nicest beach in the Delaware - Maryland area. You are literally steps from the beach. There is just one row of townhouses prior to the boardwalk crossing the dune. What this means is that when you have forgotten something or want to return to your unit for whatever reason, it is a very quick trip.

The Caprice, Unit 1E, itself is located on the first floor. You only have to climb one flight of steps and you arrive on a screened porch with a large sliding door which opens to the living room. The unit has an open floor plan, which provides comfortable seating for all the residents and guests.
GREAT DEALS FOR THE END OF AUGUST!!!

Its proximity to the beach and pleasant atmosphere provides a real 'at the beach' feeling. The neighborhood is populated mostly by families with children and the community atmosphere is enhanced by groups of kids playing and buying snow cones. A family restaurant at the end of the street provides a convenient spot for meals, particularly breakfast and lunch. Once you have arrived you can feel free of traffic and the hustle and bustle of crowds, and enjoy yourself at the beach.

We loved that the beach wasn’t too crowded here and it was just a short drive or bike ride to Downtown Bethany. Space was great for 6 of us.

This is an amazing location. The condo has had a remodel of kitchen and has 2 outdoor warm water private showers and an outdoor bathroom for quick trips back from the beach. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for our use. The carpet inside and outdoor porch furniture could use an upgrade. The shower liner needs to be replaced (moldy). The Wifi connection was terrible. It kept dropping off, making it impossible to work from this location. It wouldn't stay connected even on your phone. This is really the only complaint but would not rent here again for that reason unless something was done to fix this issue.

This is by far the best location if you want a quiet, close to the beach getaway. Can’t say enough about the owner’s attention and proximity to the beach. You can hear the waves from the front porch! Loved it and will book again!

The description on VRBO is spot on. Great place, super clean, great location and really close to everything. Property manager was easy to contact. Perfect for 6 or even 8 people. Will definitely be staying here every year.

Unit was very clean except food left in freezer from previous tenants. Communication with owner was outstanding. Kitchen and bathrooms are dated and could use some work. The unit is literally so close to the beach for a very fair price that the rest is minor!

The "condo" was only a two minute walk from the beach. It was clean and quiet. Really enjoyed the screened in porch with comfy chairs and sound of the surf could be heard. There was only one row of houses between ours and the beach. Located in a quiet private community. Very nice. Would return in future.

We rented the condo at the end of September and had a great vacation. The property was the perfect location just steps from a quiet private beach. The condo was great and the right size for my family of 4. We utilized the beach chairs that were provided and was very glad for the outdoor shower (with hot water). Ocean city was close enough that we went almost every day to walk the boardwalk. Would definitely stay at this place again

We really enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were as advertised, and we were pleased with the close distance to the beach. The only negative were some loud visitors outside, and people above us making noise in the middle of the night. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Beach is stunning and clean. Quick drive to boardwalks in Rehoboth and Bethany. All in all, a great place to stay.

Beach vacation: our party had five adults and two children. We enjoyed our stay at Caprice very much. The property was exactly what we needed. Being in a private community, we enjoyed the private beach and yet were able to travel to the commercial areas north and south easily. Kathy was great in helping us to arrange the details of our stay. When we go to the beach again we will consider this property; the price is right!
