A very aptly named property! The best views, a fabulous house and everything within easy reach. We had a fantastic family catch-up, with lovely communal areas, and excellent facilities for our 3 separate family groups. Thanks Reid, for everything. Hopefully, we'll be back again in the future!

We had a great time here. There was plenty of room for two families (couple with two kids and a couple with one child) all adults. Location was great. Kitchen worked well for when we wanted to cook. And communication was good.

This was our second trip to Queenstown and our 4 friends' first trip. Love the area and all of the things that you can do there. The house has a really great location within short walking distance to town. You can view the lake and the gondola ride easily. It has a lot of bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and multiple decks and two sets of washers/driers. It is quiet with a great kitchen. The owner is very easy to communicate with. Inside some items in need of a refresh. One bedroom had 2 pillows but no pillowcases and pillows were stained. All beds had one pillow per person and not 2. Bedspread in our bedroom had a large hole in it. Light fixtures had not been cleaned in a long time as well as some shelves, etc. Bedding needed a refresh and possibly carpet. Seating area in living room very good. The owner has 2 pages of detailed instructions for everything - be sure to read all of the details - it's important. WiFi works well. Also know that the walk back to the house is up a steep incline.

Our family had an unforgettable experience staying at this property and it exceeded all of our expectations. Fantastic communication, views beyond belief, ideal location, great for a large family groups (8 adults, a toddler and an infant for us) all catered too including a large loving and kitchen equipped with everything we needed and more. Very thoughtful touches including guest amenities, well stocked pantry staples and use of laundry facilities and a dishwasher all made for a hassle free stay. The fire place including wood, a spa and large balcony areas with spectacular views made relaxing easy. Incredible restaurants, coffee, supermarkets and all you could need in the main city in easy walking distance. We made memories to last a lifetime and cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you Reid for your flawless hospitality.

While a quirky floor plan, we were impressed with the spaciousness of the property - there were different zones for everyone to relax in, and good common areas when everyone was together. The view and location were outstanding, and the new Weber BBQ was a dream to cook on and easy to clean.
The entertainment value of watching people walk up the hill from the comfort of the balcony was pure gold, unless we were the ones trekking up it at the end of the day ☺️

Location, views, the layout of the house and not to mention the weather delivered us a great family venue for Brooke's one week long 21st birthday party.
Everything is so handy, walking distance to Queenstown center and a short drive to everything this holiday paradise offers.

Although the property is a little on the older side the location is fabulous, There is a steep hill to climb .. we used to get a taxi from town .. so prepare for this! Everything is provided in the home to make your meals but we couldn’t find an umbrella for the outside seating area. Although it was spring/summer season the weather was awesome and an umbrella would have been perfect. A few maintenance issues were reported but the owner will fix these in December including the sticky doors to the outside seating area off the kitchen area.

The property had the most fabulous view and we felt the accommodations were great for our group. Our walk to town was close and we managed "the hill." Our host, Reid, was very responsive if we had questions or issues with anything in the house. We would recommend this home to others.

If you are going to organise a meeting somewhere, Queenstown and this property is a great spot. Myself and 5 fellow directors shared the house, ran a couple of offsite strategy days, found some great restaurants and cooked up a storm on the the non restaurant nights.
Easy access to the city centre, very well appointed with great kitchen and utensils. Nice wood fire and good wifi - what more could you need. Oh, that is right, close to Ski fields.
A big thanks to the hosts for our stay, really enjoyed it and an great property

We stayed here for 9 nights and had a fantastic time. Mostly all adult children the 7 of us had plenty of room to hang out together or have some time to ourselves. The views here are beautiful and plenty of verandahs and big glass windows to enjoy them. Everything we needed to cook at home , grocery store in walking distance, or to go out, with just a short stroll into town and a quick steep hill to get back to our perch. Any issues were attended to and the host was very responsive. Would recommend this spot and would stay here again.

The house was well presented and in an amazing location. It had everything we required for a family catch up and was large enough that 4 adults and 2 children weren't on top of each other. The house was clean and had great facilities. We would happily stay there again in the future.

The house was spacious, with fantastic views from the living areas, the master bedroom and second bedroom. It was ideally set up for 3 adult couples, with separate bedrooms each with a bathroom. The kitchen was very well appointed. Good wifi. Communication with the host and check-in were excellent. We had a great week.

This was a fantastic place to spend a few days in Queenstown with a large group of friends and family. The place is spacious and extremely well equipped. Everything worked perfectly so that we could just sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing view! As others have said, the walk back up the hill after dinner is a bit of a challenge, but we soon got used to it and it was well worth it for the downtown location coupled with stunning views. A highlight of our trip to New Zealand.

Beautiful views. Lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. Close enough to everything. Single beds very narrow, pillows didn't suit us. No airconditioning. Very hot inside the house.

We stayed with another family over the busy New Years period. The house is really roomy so everyone had their own space (and bathroom) which we really appreciated. The views from the balcony are amazing, a fabulous place to sit and watch the sunset each night and see the changing colours of the mountains and lake. We also enjoyed the side paved area, also with great views, for a BBQ dinner. The walk to town was quick and easy, with a steep but short hill finish. The location overall was great with everything in Queenstown within easy access. Reid responded very quickly to all emails. We loved Queenstown and were glad to have chosen this great property for our stay.

We had a lovely week here, so central to all the activities and centre of town. The 3 storey appartments is large enough to comfortably house all 6 of us across 3 generations with ample personal space for teens and seniors to enjoy their time together or in the own space. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. 3 mins walk to supermarket and Main Street. Yet in a quiet part of town. We enjoyed watching all the adventure sports and stunning lake views from the balcony - felt part of the action. The view of the mountains never got tiring in any weather or time of day. Endless things to watch and enjoy. Reid was a great host- prompt communication and helpful with our early check in and luggage. Would definitely recommend

This amazing home accommodated me and my family perfectly. Beds were comfortable with gorgeous mountain views from most bedrooms. The kitchen was spacious and extremely well equipped with appliances and crockery. All basics were supplied such as toilet paper, sponges, detergent, salt, pepper and much more! Reid was exceptional with communication. We will definitely be recommending this places to family and friends. Thank you, Reid and Linda.

A large and roomy house with lake and mountain views from many of the rooms and a great ambience. Sometimes it was hard to wrench ourselves from those views to go out and discover Queenstown which is 2 minutes down the hill. All the beds were comfortable and attention to detail was appreciated. We will be definitely returning. Great communication with owner if there were any questions.
10.0 / 10.0
The house is huge with the bedrooms and baths split on three separate levels, making life quite easy and noise was never an issue. The views were spectacular the host Reid was fabulous and helpful throughout our 5 day stay. The location was spectacular. The book with instructions was particularly helpful. We called the hill to the house from town the “hill of death”…it’s steep but gave us the wonderful views.
The bookabach app is not available in the USA so communication was a bit difficult in the beginning. We would definitely stay here again.

Sensational home in the best spot in Queenstown. We had a special family celebration and we could not have asked for a better experience or host. We are already planning our next trip from Australia.
