Enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Cape Kiwanda, and Haystack Rock while you relax in this unique and beautiful oceanfront home. This property is set in the beachfront gated community of Kiwanda Shores in Pacific City. This home has 4-bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. The primary bedroom, guest bedroom, and two full bathrooms are located on the first floor and offer a quiet place to rest in this beautiful, open concept home. The upstairs features a reading nook, a kids room with a full bathroom, two bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa. The reading nook is the perfect place to drink your coffee in the morning or to enjoy consistent views of Haystack Rock any time of day. Also upstairs is another guest room with a queen bed with its own private bathroom.
This is the perfect place for a refreshing beach getaway with incredible ocean views. The house offers modern conveniences, such as free Wi-Fi, an outdoor grill, flat screens and DVD players in each bedroom, as well as a washing and drying machine.
The primary bedroom features a king bed with clean, fresh white bedding and a lovely view. A small desk offers room to work and allows guests to enjoy the flat screen TV and DVD. The master bathroom offers dual sinks and a walk-in shower.
The guest room is beautifully furnished with a queen bed and offers its own flat screen TV and DVD player. Next to the guest room, the guest bathrooms features beautiful tile work and a shower tub combo. Both bedrooms have noisemakers and alarm clocks.
The kids room has two sets of bunk beds along with a sleeper sofa featuring a queen bed. There is also a TV and DVD player and a X-Box with 5 remotes.
This spacious, open-concept layout of the main living area and kitchen allows for an ideal setting to cook together and entertain while enjoying ocean views. Guests can walk right out onto the dune from the main living area to enjoy whale watching, a walk down the beach, or a swim in the ocean. This portion of the house features beautiful wood beams and walls, a kitchen space with a full-sized fridge, stove/oven, and dining area. The living area offers comfortable seating on a new leather couch and two side chairs as well as a flat screen TV and DVD player. The outdoor grill is a few steps outside. A bonus feature is the ping pong table in the garage to add to the fun, family-friendly environment.
PARKING: General street parking in the area can be utilized for free. The beach house is in a gated community (which allows for a large amount of space for parking outside the house).
There is plenty of fun to be found in the surf and sand (surfing, Dory Boat fishing, hang gliding, horse riding, hiking, kayaking, bicycling, swimming, whale watching, golfing and many more family-friendly activities are nearby). We are only a 15-minute walk to the Pelican Brew Pub, a variety of nearby restaurants, and a local grocery store. Also we are only a short drive to Sand Lake. Bring your ATV out and spend the day riding around on the ocean front!
The neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a gated community which provides privacy and easy beach access for guests. No cars are allowed on the beach in front of the community - a nice plus!
Other things to note: No pets are allowed on the property. If we find that this was not followed we will utilize your security deposit in full for cleaning.
Please note that we have a family member that is severely allergic to animals. For their safety we ask that you respect the "no dogs allowed" policy.
We have cameras out side the home to be able to watch the perimeters while we are away. One in the front of the house and one in the back. They are on and recording 24/7.

Overall, this vacation rental was amazing. The views are priceless - we had a week of crystal clear weather with sunsets next to Chief Kiwanda Rock every night. The house was well appointed with all the necessary items in the kitchen and the beds were super comfy. If you like Pacific City, this house can’t be beat!

This house had many items we did not expect that was a surprise. The owners have given a lot of thought to make sure different guest will have what they want. The ability to exit right on the beach and get to the ocean was very easy. The kids could play in the sand right out the door where the parents could keep an eye on them. The house was very clean and the Kitchen had what ever one would need. The view of the ocean was there 24/7 with site of Hay Stack Rock and the rest of the ocean down to the sand dunes.I highly recommend this house.

This is a wonderful property in a fantastic location. The view is stunning and the way the house is set up with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for our 2 families with multiple kids. The walk to watch the dory boats and check out the tide pools, Pelican brewery is about mile walk on the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. We loved our time here and would definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We loved it!

I loved everything about this beachfront property. The kitchen amenities, comfy bedrooms, kids room, sand toys and a killer view. My only disappointment was the gas grill. It was buried in sand and not ready for use. After spending a half hour cleaning it I decided to bag it and broil my rib-eye steaks. Had I known I would have made a different dinner plan. Otherwise great place! Thanks for sharing this gem.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at your beautiful home. Spectacular sunsets, being steps to the ocean, having well-stocked kitchen/bathrooms, and plenty of space were some of the highlights of this trip! We had large enough spaces to hold everyone, and multiple smaller spaces for people to have quiet time. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen/dining room had plenty of space for multiple cooks. Absolutely stunning views through huge windows. Easy walk to Pelican Brewing. This is not your average Oregon Coast rental. It’s a beautiful home in the ultimate location. Can’t wait to return (with friends but also with family).

My family hadn’t been on a vacation together in over 12 years. We booked this house for my daughters second birthday and reunited as a family. The view and access to the beach right outside the kitchen doors was unbeatable. As a big family that still needed our own space, this house was perfect. Everyone had their own quarters to decompress and reset. Everyone had their own bathroom which was nice too. The pictures simply do not do it justice. We barely left the house. We will talk about this beach trip and the memories made for years to come.

This home is wonderful!! Out your sliding back door is the most spectacular view of the ocean and haystack rock. The home is done beautifully and has everything that you will need. The home is fantastic!
We visited with my brother, his wife and 5 year old; my family (teenage boys), my parents and my adult daughter — lots of people in one house (accustomed to having their own kitchen and space), and it is so well laid out that we didn’t ever step on toes or get in the way of one another.
The house is pretty quiet — even though the stairs creaked when I went down to make coffee in the morning it didn’t wake anyone else up (the downstairs bedrooms are located on the opposite side completely).
Well stocked with kitchen items (toaster, griddle, waffle maker, coffee maker, etc.); games (we did bring a lot of games of our own, but it was good to see that there were some fun ones there too); and lots of good spots to sit and hang out. Beds were pretty comfortable, couch was very comfortable.
We saw whales spouting every single day - so keep your eyes open and use the binocs! We had brought some with us, and there were 2 other sets in the house as well.
The only thing that was not quite what I expected was that in the pictures, it appears as though the beach is flat out to the ocean, but it’s actually about a 20’ drop, all in sand. We had picked this place because it looked like it would be easy to get my dad (mobility issues) down to the water. This was completely impossible, but it ended up ok because he could still have gotten his feet in the sand, and it didn’t change the view at all.

We’ve stayed in Pacific City many times and this was by far the best property. Not just because of the location (which was amazing!), but the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner. Loved that everyone had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The kids loved their room with bunk beds, couch and their own TV with gaming system. The living room was super comfortable and the dining table was great for card games. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Very nice place to stay. Location is perfect, especially for children. The sand is right out the door for the kids and just a little further to the beach. Loved the views out the kitchen and living room windows. It is a well stocked house and the ping pong table provided much fun. The bunks in the loft are great for the kids but the pull out bed is typical of that kind and not too comfortable for adults. It took awhile to find bedding for the loft beds. Otherwise we had a great stay and the homeowners were so easy to get ahold of and the response was quick. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This home was perfect for the 4 of us (2 couples). Incredibly clean! Absolutely stunning sunsets. Right on the beach. We drank our morning coffee watching the fog reveal Haystack. We sipped wine later in the day just watching the waves. You can walk to restaurants, store, wine! One of our favorite places for vacation now!

Location was ideal on a pristine and very private-feeling beach. Open floor plan and furniture layout were perfect for our group. Kitchen was well stocked and provided a fun venue for group cooking. Overall, we absolutely loved staying here. Beds in the loft aren't as comfortable as the ones downstairs (and weren't made up when we arrived).

The Perfect End to Summer
My family of four squeezed in one last weekend at the beach before school starts and this house was the perfect backdrop to a perfect send of to summer. We spent the entire weekend in the sand, mere steps from the sliding door overlooking the entire coast and cape. Rooms and beds were comfortable, house was pristine, and the view was amazing!
