About this villa rental
Located in the highly-popular coastal town of Fuengirola and very close to the magnificent 12th century Moorish castle and only 400 metres (5 minutes’ walk) from the widest and best beach in town, this stunning detached villa is also just 650 metres (7 minutes’ walk) to the Myramar shopping centre which has a huge supermarket, some 60 boutiques, restaurants, a cinema complex, Go Kart track on the roof and a super skateboard park. All of the town's amenities including countless bars, shops, restaurants, cafes, the port, BioPark (zoo) and so much more are all within walking distance.
This property is a fully-furnished, fully-equipped, beautiful, private, detached villa located at the end of a small cul de sac boasting 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and with fabulous panoramic sea views. There is a 32 m2 private swimming pool (8 metres by 4 metres) and beautiful mature private gardens, 5 delightful terraces and a fabulous brick and granite purpose-built gas-fired barbecue. The villa also has a private, enclosed off-street parking space and very fast fibre-optic private wifi. There are 3 distinct fully-equipped dining areas each with dining table and 6 chairs: in the dining room, on the lounge terrace and on the BBQ terrace. The Villa provides all UK TV channels including all BBC and ITV channels, Channels 4 and 5, Sky Sports, BT Sports as well as most European and North American TV channels including those of Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the US, Canada etc. as well as an extensive video library of films and TV series.
The Villa boasts private, secure and very fast fibre-optic Wi-Fi and there is air-conditioning/heating in all bedrooms.
The property is open-plan and split-levelled, with another lower floor for the master en suite bedroom, and is very spacious and bright, with high wood-beamed ceilings, air-conditioning in all bedrooms, large windows and 4 sets of French doors. From the living room, there is a beautiful large terrace with panoramic sea views and a retractable awning, making it a perfect place to sunbathe, eat and relax. The lower garden, porch/terrace and pool area are reminiscent of a Balinese style with wood-effect tiles, natural stone and marble. There are 5 terraced areas around the villa offering enough separate spaces for each guest to do their own thing.
The location, size, standard, equipment and range of amenities of this property are close to being unbeatable in Fuengirola, especially at the competitive weekly rates charged.
The Villa's capacity, based on three bedrooms, is set to 6. However, if your group is made up of 7, feel free to ask because a roll-up bed can also be provided. In addition, a travel cot and a highchair are also available for infants who are not, therefore, counted in the above-mentioned sleeping capacity of the property.
The Villa is located in a small cul-de-sac, just 7 minutes walk (650 metres) from the main shopping centre and the largest supermarket in town, and is only 1.6 km from the port area. Fuengirola is just 25 kms or less from Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banús, Torremolinos, many golf courses, the Mijas racecourse, 2 water parks (one is within walking distance), the Tivoli World amusement park and many other fun places and activities.
The town of Fuengirola is considered by many to have the most comprehensive infrastructure of all of the towns on the Costa del Sol and appeals to all ages and all tastes. In Fuengirola, you will find hundreds of bars, restaurants, night clubs/discos, shops and the biggest range of activities and amenities of all of the towns on the Costa del Sol. Apart from a full range of beach/sea activities including paddle-boats, jet-skis, parasailing, fishing, dolphin-watching etc, Fuengirola also has a skateboard park, go-kart track, a bioparc (zoo), some roman ruins, a children's funfair (Sould Park), equestrian centre, bull-ring, multi-screen cinema complex, several shopping centres and big supermarkets, a medieval castle and 7 kilometres of sea-front promenade.
The Villa is available for rental periods of a minimum of one week. However, if you are only able to stay for a slightly shorter period, please feel free to ask the owner for a price for a slightly shorter stay. All bookings in the busy season from May to September must run from a Saturday to Saturday for one week or two weeks etc.
In the winter months from November to March, generous discounts on the weekly rates are available for longer stays. Please ask the owner, David, for a quote for your dates.
Cancellation policy. If guests, for any reason, wish to cancel their reservation, I will fully refund all amounts paid if the dates are re-booked by another group. In addition, if you cancel more than 60 days prior to your arrival date, I will fully refund the amount paid.
Unlike many other properties advertised on this site for holiday rental on the Costa del Sol, this property meets all of the legal requirements in Spain, including air-conditioning in all bedrooms, and is registered, as required by law, as a holiday rental property with the Board of Andalusia under the number VFT / MA / 01325.
When choosing a Vacation Villa, it is imperative to check carefully the exact location for each one you are considering in order to be certain of its location in relation to the facilities and amenities you wish to have within walking distance. There are quite a few properties on the this site which are erroneously listed as being in Fuengirola but which are actually several kilometres away from the town, either further along the coast or actually much further inland well away from the beach and the town's amenities. Accordingly, always check carefully before booking that you will be located precisely where you want to be.
Please bear in mind that, as mentioned above, the villa internally, as well as the garden, are on more than one level so, if your mobility is quite limited, or it depends on the use of a wheelchair, then Villa Blanca is not ideally suited to you.

Guests enjoyed multiple terraces with stunning views, a spacious pool, and convenient location near amenities and the beach. The owner, David, provided helpful communication and a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Blanca. The property itself was really nice with spacious rooms, a lovely pool and garden and you can see over the sea. Also plenty of space to lie and sunbathe, and more than one outdoor terrace to eat on. The supermarket and beach are walking distance, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants around, which you can get to via very reliable local taxis if you don't want to walk.
David, the host, was great. Explained everything we needed to know, and was available by WhatsApp for any questions during the stay. We would absolutely recommend Villa Blanca if you're looking for a relaxing villa holiday in the sun.

Family holiday for 6 in Villa Blanca. Amazing location and the villa met all expectations. 3 large bedrooms and nice that the master bedroom is on a separate level to the other bedrooms. Huge living space which stayed cool with the lovely sea breeze on the terrace. Kitchen was fully equipped but we made the most of the location and walked to different restaurants everyday. Beach is less than a 10 minute walk away and plenty for all ages to stay occupied. Travelled with our 19 year old son and his partner along with our 16 year old daughter and her friend. Plenty of room for everyone, and lots of different areas to sit and enjoy the sun in peace.

Family holiday (3 couples) to stay in Villa Blanca … a lovely week in a property full of character and so convenient to walk into Fuengirola and get public transport to Mijas Pueblo.
Morning coffee on the lounge terrace to watch the sunrise, and after some hot walks around the area (Mad dogs and all that!) how lovely it was to relax in and around the pool.
3 comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made it our home from home for the week. With nice soft towels provided for bathrooms and sunloungers/pool area, we need not have taken any.
The aircon provided adequate cooling on the hotter nights
We tended to eat out but there are good cooking facilities…. We did have a barbeque on day 3.
Large supermarket is only 10 minutes walk away (downhill) …. We did a “main” food/drinks shop on day 1 and got taxi back as it was only €6 from outside shopping centre
David is communicative and very helpful, as are his team… Rosemary and gardener (sorry I did not ask name) We had pleasant chats with very friendly villa gardener.
Lovely views along local coastline.
Great week, Thanks David!! 😎

What a gorgeous unique property. We loved everything about it. There are so many levels, outside and inside areas, we could have gone all weekend without sitting in the same place twice. The views, the pool were just fantastic. And as for the host, David, he runs everything like clockwork. A fantastic time was had by us all. Can highly recommend.

Villa Blanca was exactly as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location and surroundings were great. The Miramar shopping centre, with a huge supermarket and many shops, is only 650 metres away (less than 10 minutes walk) and the beach just 400 metres away (6 minutes walk).
The property is large and very well-equipped. There are 5 terraces surrounding the villa and a large pool.
The owner was always friendly and helpful.
Fuengirola is 20 minutes by car from Malaga airport and 25 minutes from Marbella in the opposite direction. Next to Marbella is the beautiful Puerto Banus harbour. Gibraltar is just over an hour from the villa. Ronda is about 90 minutes drive up into the mountains.

The property was all it promised. It is large with 3 outdoor dining areas...a balcony and two terraces and 2 indoor dining areas. The pool is suitable for adults but also child- friendly. There is good security in and around the property. The property is thoughtfully furnished and equipped with all that anyone could want, away from home, including washing machine, dryer, microwave and dishwasher. A big draw is that it is 6 mins walk from the beach and about 8 mins walk from a big shopping centre with supermarket, restaurants etc.
The Landlord was pleasant, easily contactable and did everything to contribute to a pleasant and memorable stay.
I recommend it.

This was our first trip to Spain and our first Christmas away from home. David was very accommodating. He worked with us when we had complications that delayed our arrival. We loved that there was a Christmas tree and lights and ornaments for us to decorate. Rosemary was extremely helpful. She met with us on Noche Buena (Dec. 24) to get us settled in. We came home late one night to find that the power was out, Rosemary was there in 10 minutes and got the power up and going again. The house was beautiful, very clean, great views, convenient location BUT there must be an issue with the septic system because the house smells of poo. The smell came up through the toilets but we could smell it in all of the bedrooms. It did not go away the whole time we stayed. The beds are also uncomfortable. Due to these reasons we will not return unless we had assurances that something was done to remedy both of these. It is too bad because it is a great house in a fabulous location for touring around the Andalucia region.

The house was in a great location, with a nice view and easily walkable down to the beach. We were able to visit Malaga and Ronda, as the place was centrally located, and close to Marbella. Great experience and host!

A lovely proper Spanish villa, with wonderful views out over the sea, and everything we needed for our week stay. We needed the aircon in the bedrooms twice (in November!) and both bedrooms were cooled down within minutes. We hired a car for this trip, and spent a good portion of each day out and about in Mijas, Marbella, Estapona, etc., but each evening went out for dinner, either walking down to the beach and along towards the marina, or walking down to the shopping centre, which is open late and has a few restaurants. This is one of the few villas I have found where you can actually walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops without it being a chore. Some of the reviews mention a 'hill'. All I will say is that one of our party has issues with mobility, and the location of the villa, and the 'hill', did not cause them any problems. Communication with David was great, and Rosemary made check-in/out very easy. A fantastic week stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this villa.

The villa is beautiful with everything you need!
We have just returned from a week there with our 2 children it was in a good location and we had a great time
Will definitely be returning next year
Thank you David for great communication before our arrival and whilst we was at the villa

The villa is more spacious than pictures show. Rooms are on different levels which ensures that bedrooms are quiet. The noice from the motorway was less than what we expected and did not bother us at all. Open views to the sea and Sohail castle make the villa seem even more spacious. As there are several terraces, we could always find shade or sun. The bbq with flat surface was very nice. We had a larger wagon car which fitted just in the nice parking space. Miramar commercial center is quite close but it is uphill or almost 100 stairs back to the house so we used the car. The owner David was very good at communicating with us before and during the stay. We can warmly recommend this villa and would have liked to stay longer ourselves.

Beautiful stay, nice villa close to the beach. Not far to the center of Fuengirola. Owner really cares to his guests a real gentleman.

This villa is a rare find. We've been renting villas for nearly 20 years and have never found one so central and with such beautiful and panoramic (very close) sea views - and that's including the more expensive 'tour company' villa rentals. The villa is very large with generous rooms and the balconies are spacious with plenty of seating. May sound strange to say, but the bathrooms, especially two of the three are absolutely beautiful; one has a gorgeous sunken shower with spanish tiles. The kitchen is very well equipped and the TV carries every English channel you could hope for. The pool is large and set in a gorgeous garden (and not overlooked). Importantly, the air condition works very efficiently and there is a good standing fan for anyone who needs a little directed cooling (I took it onto the verander, getting the best of sun and salvation (being a woman of a certain age!) The most remarkable aspect of this villa is that it is literally round the corner from all the bars and restaurants and shops you would want; it's 400m from the beach and the bars, restaurants and shops only increase in number as you walk along the one mile strip that takes you into the port of Fuengirola ( I've been duped before into believing a villa is in 'close proximity to all the amenities' when it just wasn't; this villa is! I have no hesitation in recommending this villa.

We had great communications with David the owner throughout the booking and the duration of the stay and after. As mentioned in his descriptions of the villa, there are a lot of stairs throughout the villa and down to the front door, so not great if you have any kind of mobility issues. You will see from reviews the mention of a ‘hill’, David will go on with great in-depth that this isn’t actually a hill. Whatever anyone thinks and everyone has their own option let me tell you, it’s steep especially when one has walked from the beach, up the walk way which has 3 steep sections, then walk up the hill to the villa and in heat.
The villa is in need of repairs, there are a lot of missing tiles from the pool floor and along the edging. There are very big gaps in the paving slabs surrounding the pool and our grandson got his finger caught between the gap when climbing out of the pool. The iron security bars outside windows are so rusty that some have come away from the cement. There is plaster coming away from sections of the walls inside the villa leading to the bedrooms. There is a very unpleasant smell of sewage when one is sitting at the pool and even when you are in the bathroom.
What isn’t mentioned in the description that during August to September there is music playing very close to the villa (you can see the stage from the villa), it starts with sound checks from the moment you arrive until 01:45 in the early hours of Sunday. This should be mentioned.

A very accurately described villa in the host’s descriptions and also previous reviews, not sure I can add anything. We had a lovely week, particularly enjoyed being able to walk to so many different amenities.
5.0 / 5.0
We stayed two weeks in the villa and enjoyed it a lot. The pool and area around it was perfect and the pool was deep enough for both playing and swimming. The house was well equipped and there are many places to sit outside in all directions. There is a big supermarket Carrefour in walking distance that has everything you need and lot more but be prepared for a lot of stairs or uphill on the way back. Good vacation exercise!
We can highly recommend Villa Blanca!

The villa is lovely with various patios and a fab balcony looking out to the ocean. It has everything you need for comfort and is a ten minute walk down to a major shopping centre. (Taxi back recommended if carrying groceries). We did feel that anyone with mobility issues would find both external and internal access at the villa somewhat problematic and that the 20+ steps leading down to the entrance door from street level would benefit from a handrail. That said, overall it's a wonderful place to stay and David's team of two were extremely pleasant and friendly.

Class Villa in a good location with Fabulous views.
It’s up a hill but not a problem for my family.
15 minutes to the main restaurants and 10 minutes
Walk to the shopping centre. Advise a taxi for shopping €6. The pool is great and great space to sunbath. We will definitely be going again. David made sure we had a fantastic time. The villa has all you need.

As my eldest daughter and her husband were invited to a wedding in Fuengirola we decided to take this opportunity to have a family holiday there and we rented Villa Blanca for a week.
The Villa was even nicer than expected we just loved it. All the different outdoor spaces were great as we did not have to be on top of each other. The pool area very well kept and the beautiful pool very clean as it was regularly taken care of and cleaned. We spent a lot of the evenings on the main balcony by the lounge enjoying the view with a glass of Sangria. A large shopping centre few minutes walk away. And the beach also in close proximity. The host David was very welcoming and gave us a full tour of the property on arrival explaining everything. All in all a five stars property!

We spent 8 weeks at David’s lovely villa in Fuengirola.
Everything was as advertised - close to the beach and the shopping mall and to the recently introduced free bus into the centre of Fuengirola. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t warm enough to tryout the private pool. The villa is spacious and comfortable and made a great base for a long stay for friends and family to visit. As David points out, the villa is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Hi
We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Blanca. Good size villa with all the amenities you need. The grounds were perfect for our two little dogs. The owner was most helpful, location superb just on the edge of town only 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Just back from a great week at David's villa. Communication with David was excellent before and throughout the holiday via VRBO and closer to arrival via WhatsApp.
From arrival at Malaga airport, we jumped on the C1 train to Fuengirola (33 minutes) where we could have taken a short taxi drive to the villa, but we walked it in 30 minutes. Getting to the villa couldn't be much easier. David met us and showed us around and was very helpful and friendly.
There is everything you would need for a self catering holiday including a dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster, TV with loads of choice, stereo, etc and all towels are provided.
There is excellent aircon in all rooms but we didn't use it much at all despite the hot weather, a quick blast cooled the room down perfectly.
The pool is a good size and the kids had a great time in it, although us adults found it to be a bit chilly but it was late October so it is to be expected.... Keep moving and it's fine.
The villa is about a 5 minute walk to the beach, and in my view, it's the best part of Fuengirola beach). There is a large shopping centre a few minutes walk from the villa or very short taxi ride away.
The 6 of us (4 adults, an 11 yr old and a 13yr old) had a great time and we would definitely return.

My wife and 2 grown up daughters have just spent 2weeks in this lovely villa And must say that the description is totally honest and accurate All you need to make this a home from home is there
The beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk away and a gentle stroll along the promenade will reveal a multitude of bars and restaurants.
The train station is nearby, which takes you to many places along the coast, and runs from the airport. The only slight downside is the hill up to the villa which quite steep
The rooms are spacious and David the owner is always available. The pool is superb, very clean with sun-beds and cushions and even a shower. All the bedrooms and lounge have air conditioning, and a table outside for dining if you wish, as well as one inside in the lounge. The lounge leads to a large patio area with lovely views across the seal and surrounding area
A lovely place for a family to spend a perfect holiday

Fabulous Location
Villa Blanca was perfect for our all adult family. Each couple had their own bathroom and shower and plenty of space outdoors for everyone to chill during the day.
It’s a short walk to the Miramar shopping centre and to a garage that sells fresh bread and a small variety of groceries.
The beach is a 5 minute walk and 30 minutes into the centre of Fuengirola.
It’s easy to get taxis back at night when we didn’t fell like walking.
The villa is old style, with several terraces all with stunning views of the sea and the castle.
Rosemary meet us on arrival and explained how everything works and had some very welcome cold beers for us.
David was an excellent host, he answered messages and phone calls without any delay and solved the few little issues we had instantly. 10 out of 10 for communication.
We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Blanca and would highly recommend it.

Good Villa
Overall, we were happy with the villa. There were a lot of positives, but also a few minor issues, especially with noise (which, to be fair, the owner can't control)
The positives - a nice, comfortable villa. Excellent pool and a nice little garden. Close to the beach and Miramar shopping centre (6 minutes walk to both). David gave us a good welcome brief and his comms were always prompt and clear.
The negatives (none of these were show-stoppers, but they were enough to prevent me giving 5 stars.)
- The BBQ isn't up to scratch. It is a small 2 burner, but only one burner works. The non-stick surface is also quite worn in places. I cooked for 5 on it one time, but it was just too much hassle to use again, which is a shame. It just needs replacing really, IMO.
- Noise. The villa is a little noisy. There is constant road noise from the coastal road. There is also a building site about 150 yards away. But the most intrusive noise is from the outdoor stage about 400 yards away. There were 3 concerts while we were there and two finished about 0045, the other went on until gone 0130. The music is VERY loud.
- The AC unit in the master bedroom is on the way out. It kinda works, but it doesn't cool properly and its noisy.
- If you are planning on walking to a nice restaurant for dinner, it is a bit of a hike to the 'strip'. A good 20-30 minute walk...
Like I said, none of the negatives was too serious on their own, but they add up to a slightly less than 5 star experience IMO. But overall a good experience and we would probably stay again.

Fabulous villa shame about the noise
This is a fabulous villa but for 2 nights festival music at the castle going on till the early hrs and on from April to September did ruin the stay somewhat. Even shutting all doors and windows it felt like you were at the festival... The castle itself is also closed during this period and this is one of the area big attractions.
On the positive side David the owner, Rosemary the cleaner and the gardener keep a very lovely property ideal for a family get away but if you have young children be warned if going during summer 2022......
Overall great holiday, great people and great villa just beaware of the festivals.

Fabulous Villa in a great location
The villa was fabulous with lots of Spanish rustic charm and fantastic views across the sea and the Castile. The villa is set over four split levels which creates a lot of space so you are not on top of each other and would very comfortably accommodate 6 people. However, probably not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The facilities were great and the swimming pool is a perfect size which kept our teenager occupied and happy. We loved just sitting and relaxing on the terrace and taking in the views. Our host was very friendly, helpful and contactable for any problems. The location was great with the Miramar shopping centre and buses close by but expect a long walk to get to the town centre. Unfortunately our stay was marred by noisy building works on new apartments behind the villa but they are almost finished and should hopefully not cause a nuisance for people staying later in the year. Road noise was a bit of an issue for us as we live in the country and not used to it but shouldn’t be a problem for townies. Despite that we would definitely stay at the villa again.

Fabulous villa and pool
We stayed here for five nights, my five friends and myself, the communication with David prior to us arriving was excellent, David met us on arrival and showed us everything, very thorough, we all loved the villa, very quirky and the pool is fabulous, kitchen equipped really well, spare beach towels and a washing machine (we only used this to wash the pool towels before we came back as didn’t want to leave them dirty). The villa is on three levels, we knew this before we went and it was no problem for us, in fact we liked this, the balcony terrace was great and we ate there most lunch times and evenings, lots of steps but again we knew this as it says in the description. Only 10 minutes to the beach. The beach was quiet and the sun beds were really comfortable. So all in all, very happy, we enjoyed ourselves very much. The only negative us girls wanted to mention was that the sun bed cushions are a little uncomfortable particularly the plastic ones x

Perfect !
We have just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Villa Blanca.
The Villa is set over several levels which was the biggest adventure for our children! They loved every minute of exploring the place.
It is impeccably clean and the owner has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable.
The pool was perfect for children and adults alike.
The location was perfect, just outside the busy area (10 minute walk along the promenade) but close enough to local bars, restaurants and shops.
The beach was a 5 minute walk away.
We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat !

Fabulous Villa
The internet pictures did not lie, Villa Blanca was as fabulous as expected and more than lived up to my expectations. The interior layout gave sufficient space to the whole family. Our granddaughter loved the pool which has given us special memories. David is a conscientious host and a great communicator. I would highly recommend Villa Blanca.

We enjoyed David’s Villa and hospitality during a couple of relaxing and sunny weeks in April. We used the pool, sun beds, barbecue and different terraces frequently and actually had all our meals outside enjoying the scenery and “warm” weather. The location was ideal for us with privacy, but yet close to the beach, city center and Miramar. We had a rental car (or rather a bus) and also enjoyed easy access to the highway and the cities nearby, as Malaga, Ronda and Marbella. We also visited the local gas station for fresh bread every morning. Thanks for a couple of really great weeks at Villa Blanca.

House was fine but being 73 years old found too many steps and hilly climbs

Family gathering at Villa Blanca
The property in Fuengirola has a spectacular view of the Mediterraneum while holding all of the conforts of a cozy house. Our family goup of 5 adults felt very confortable with the three bedrooms and bathrooms that allowed for privacy, while the common space was large enough to promote story telling and life experiences that will never be forgotten. Close to many facilites, within walking distance to the beach and the Sohail castle, it was very convenient to do some local touristing. Having a car does help, as public transportantion is limited. The private garage is good for one small vehicle and the construction going on in a large property in front of the house made for some difficulty getting in and out of it. Hopefully, this is going to be over soon.
Dave was extremely helpful, very professional and clear in his instructions. There was a bit of misleading information on the Website that was clarified by direct contact with Dave (the owner). Overall a nice property that I would rent again if the opportunity arises.

Lovely villa however not informed about building work
We arrived at the property which was lovely and the pool was amazing. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner only told us about the building work the day before and this unfortunately make the stay a bit uncomfortable as this is a full scale property development with builders there everyday. We had to walk past the builders everyday as we couldn’t park outside. We had to park the car in the next street. The other issue the main bedroom stunk of sewers for the whole week and there were no extra sheets to change any beds. We were also informed that if we went above 200khz on the electric we would be charged! I rent a villa every year in Spain and have never once come across this especially after the price we were charged! Nice villa but wouldn’t visit again
