Beautiful place with great facilities. Enjoyed by all.

Best Christmas ever to have my whole family together all 32 of us at such a nice and spacious place. Kids enjoyed the bouncing house in garage, xbox games, marble wall, theater, pool table, fooshball while the adults enjoyed the large kitchen up stairs. Everybody also liked the hot tube. Also what a great view. The deer came and visited us on the last day.

While we have stayed at this location before because we have always enjoyed the view and quiet nature of the area.
Our complaints were the following:
many of the dishes were not clean. It is pretty gross to pull out silverware or serving utensils and find them with dried food still on them. This also includes several dishes we came across. Not good.
Next were the beds. the one in the main bedroom next to the kitchen needs a new mattress. It is too soft with no support. I wound up sleeping on the couch in the kitchen area to keep from having sever back issues each morning. Several other men complained about their beds as well, wish I knew which rooms are at fault.
Finally, the pool table and ques need major attention. Ques, several tips are broken and most of them are warped. As for the table itself, one cushion is about to fall off and the felt on the surface is extremely worn. The table itself is a fine piece of furniture, just needs some TLC.
On a lighter note, we love the house. It's beautiful and in a wonderful location. But it is getting older and needs some major renovations to make your customers feel comfortable and cared for.
Thank you for the stay and all the good you have done.

There was plenty of room for our group. The views were beautiful.

The property has a lot of potential, but needs some work.
1. The shelf in the kitchen came off the wall in the middle of the night. You can tell the shelf was not secured properly because the screws in the wall were smaller than the holes and were not anchored.
2. The legs on one of the tables into kitchen is cracked and broken. It has been zipped tied together by about 10 zip ties. The table is unstable and unsafe. It should be replaced.
3. The coffee table in the basement has a nail sticking out about 3 inches. This is a serious safety concern.
4. The fans in the basement rooms do not work.
5. The wifi is basically unusable when you book the home for its intended capacity, which makes the theatre room obsolete unless you bring downloaded content that does not need to stream.
6. The property owners only supplied a mini bar of soap and mini container of shampoo for each of the six bathrooms, even though it touts that it can accommodate 30 people.
7. Coaches and futons were stained and not clean.
8. When we arrived there were dirty dishes. We pulled out a pan and found someone else's cooked eggs on it.
9. The projector is held together by duck tape and is partially broken. When it displays an image there is significant discoloration in the center of the projection.
10. Small kitchen.
Positives -
Lots of rooms. The bunk rooms contain a queen and the bunk bed consists of three full beds. Bouncy house was fun. Six bathrooms.

Nice location, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, AC, and hot water. We had a wonderful time. Bounce house was very popular. Biggest issue is the kitchen's design. While it is a large room, the placement of the island is to the counter / refrigerator is too close. Walking is congested and when the dishwasher door is open the aisle is completely blocked. This made meal preparation & service very difficult for a large group.

Great property in a beautiful location. We had 31 of us, ages 6 mon to 75, and felt like there was a good amount of room and great things to do. We would come back.

It was great. Some unexpected things were broken like the microwave and ceiling fan and doorknob.

This house is large and well laid out so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. With that being said, we rented this house starting on a Wednesday (checking out on Sunday) and when we arrived there was no coffee maker as listed and seen in pictures we had looked at. I contacted Vacasa that day and they responded right away stating that they had contacted the local staff and I would be “contacted with feedback”. Needless to say, I never heard a word from anyone and we had to go get a coffee maker. I know it’s a small incident, but the fact that they said they would address it and I never heard a word was bothersome. The dishwasher is falling apart and is very hard to load/unload as the racks continually come off the tracks. Other than a few quirks, it has a nice location, plenty of parking, and a great view from the deck.

We loved the size of the home! It amply accomodated our large family! The kids loved the bounce house, magnetic wall, & game room. The furnishings in the home however are in serious need of some upgrading. Broken couches and futons, dirty cusihions on chairs, dangerous sofa table in front of the family room couches. (Rusty hinges pinched our babies fingers and a loose rusty screw hanging down from it) The master bedroom had blood splatters on the top comforter and sheets. A door knob was off one of the bathrooms and also a towel hook was loose and feel off. Inspite of all this, if upgrades were made we would consider going back again!

We loved the amount of room on the interior for our large group size.
BUT - a lot of the furniture was less than desirable and the beds are ALL terribly cheap/uncomfortable. Especially for the price paid.
There is no yard/grass or real area for gathering outside. There is a basketball court farther down but it’s not comfortable in the hot summer months.
Overall - a decent place but not worth the money paid. Would not be back to this particular house.
Bear Lake area is AWESOME as always.

We had a great time and the house fit our family. We wish that the communication was better about items not working in the home. But, luckily there were accommodations for them.
One thing in particular was the golf simulator. The description says that there is one in the home, but it doesn’t mention that you have to pay a fee.
Lastly, there needs to be a safer route down to the basketball court. It is loose gravel and rocks making it extremely unsafe for everyone. We enjoyed the house and would book again.
Other than that, the house was very clean, the area was well kept and it was stocked with everything that we needed.

The house is simply amazing. There was something for everyone in my family. There was space for everyone. Will definitely rent again.

Great home for large families with kids. Plenty of seating for meals so we could all eat at the same time. The kids loved the bouncy house, magnet board, hot tub and movie theater room. Lots of space so everyone could have privacy when needed and also enjoy being together in the common living spaces. This home had most everything we needed. The beds were a little firm/hard for our taste, but we were usually so tired it didn't matter too much. With 10 kids 12 and under the double washer and dryer was much appreciated and well used during our week long stay. No one wanted to leave, the kids asked if we could make this our new home.
Thanks for the great accommodations!!! Would definitely rent again

As before, this is our second year with this house, the overall property is absolutely beautiful. Our group enjoyed the accommodations, the view, and the quaint atmosphere of Garden City. It is safe to say that there is very little missing from a time of rest, relaxation, and getting closer to God. Thank you once again, we should be back.

We loved the view of the lake from this home. The kids had a ball on the big blow up toy. The kitchen can fit us all for meals. We love this home!!

Had 30+ people (adults and kids) for a family reunion here. Everything was great! Enough fun for everyone including bounce house, pickle ball, theater room, pool table, Xbox, hot tub, and TVs (with rokus) galore. There was also a wall in the basement with a metal sheet on it with magnetic marble tracks that the kids loved. Found a few marbles but you may want to bring your own. We brought our own toys for toddlers to play with which was good. It's 20 minutes from Rendezvous Beach which was great. Also the Bridgerland adventure park was very close by. There were enough griddles, pots/pans, and utensils to make what we needed. Loved the views of the lake. Would definitely stay here again!

Plenty of open space for family to gather and still have private bedrooms. Love the covered deck, abundance of parking space, tetherball and pickleball court! Home is clean and well supplied with towels, linens and kitchen needs. Downstairs fridge and kitchenette are a bonus!

Our family of 29 had a great time. The property was clean and pleasant. every thing worked fine. The kids had a great time playing with the toys, the bounce house, the game room, and the theater room. We did run out of toilet paper and had to go buy some more. The property has six bath rooms but four of them are only accessed through a bedroom - which makes it difficult when the bedroom is being used.

Roberts Retreat
There were 33 of us and we really enjoyed our stay this Memorial weekend. We found the Elk Ridge Retreat in Garden City, Utah to be great for us. The cabin was clean and in good condition. There is one thing that would have been nice to have and that was a chair or bench in our bedrooms and a night stand. The Master bedroom had 2 nightstands, but no chair to sit on to help us while getting dressed. We are age 78 and 82, and we just couldn't sit on the floor to dress ourselves, and the bed was to high to sit on for this. Overall, the cabin was the perfect place for us. The games in the basement kept our teenagers very happy and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. It was a bit cold to go to the Lske, but that Cabin offered enough amenities to satisfy all of us. Thank you so much for helping us to have a great reunion.

Great Reunion House
We loved having our family reunion at Elks Ridge Retreat! There were 26 of us there and we all had our own space, which was so nice! The kids were constantly entertained...especially with the bounce house and basketball court! The views of the lake were stunning! We would stay here again.

Great Location for Family Fun
We had a blast here! Lots of indoor and outdoor recreation options besides the lake! We played pool, enjoyed the views, played pickleball, and the kids loved the bouncy house!
My only complaint is that the projector didn't seem to work on the theatre room. No great loss since there were streaming options on the other, multiple TVs.
Would definitely stay here again!

BIG house, plenty of space for all of us.
Great stay, we had 15 adults and 8 kids 3 months to 17 yrs. Bounce house was awesome for the littles and everyone else loved basketball court and theater room. Plenty of space for all! Large grill that made grilling easy, plenty of space for us to sit together. Kitchen definitely could use more mixing/serving bowls. A few areas seemed to be missed by housekeeping and house maintenance before we got there, but nothing huge. We enjoyed our stay and view was awesome!

Family Cabin experience
Lots of room for cooking, eating, playing and sleeping. Adults really liked the hot tub and movie room. Ran out of pellets for fire place but more promptly delivered. We all had a good time though some beds were not very comfortable. It's a beautiful spacious home.

Carbon Monoxide
The second day after we arrived the smoke alarm went off. Come to find out, it was actually the carbon monoxide detector. Due to the high levels in the home, we had to be moved. I greatly appreciate how well the move went and how our property manager handled the entire event. Thank you, we will book with you again.

Good but could have been better
Beautiful place great location! As pictured. The downside is the place is seriously dusty and there is only one sink in the kitchen which would be fine if the water dispenser on fridge worked. Very limited ventilation in downstairs bedrooms with 2 of the rooms not even seeming to have vents in them and getting very cold at night. No working vacuum. Anyways great view and not hard to get to great all in all for price

Perfect Get-away Place
We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful home. The scenery was breathtaking and there was plenty of space for all ages to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The bouncy house was definitely a HIT for the young children. We didn’t realize we had to pay extra to use the golf simulator, so we passed on that, and it would have been really nice to have cold water and ice from the fridge, but I’m sure that will be fixed soon. We didn’t find the basketball and pickle ball equipment until the last day (in a closet on the main floor) or we would have enjoyed being outdoors a little more. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed ourselves very much!

Beautiful home perfect for children and teens
We loved our stay here. We held a family reunion that was just under the max occupancy and the house worked perfect for us. The children and teens loved it and there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for the adults. Everything worked well and was better than described.

Fun
Lovely except for a few things. The kitchen needed more than one cutting board. The theater room needed directions for the projector. The triple bunk beds aren’t comfortable for adults. And we didn’t use the hot tub so I’d love a refund for the extra charge. $100 is a bit steep.

In a beautiful area, wish it was within walking distance to the lake, but it wasn't that far away.
