Upon check-in, I was informed that I would receive an email with the pin code necessary for accessing my room. Unfortunately, I did not receive this email as promised. This left me in a difficult situation as I needed the pin code to enter my room.
To resolve the issue, I had to make a costly phone call using my roaming data at night, around 9 PM, to contact your hotel staff. Only after this phone call was made did I receive the email with the necessary instructions. This experience not only wasted my time but also resulted in additional expenses for me.
Also, the room is unclean. The floors in the room were sticky and had not been properly cleaned. It gave the impression that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were visible smudges and dust on these appliances, which made me question the overall cleanliness of the room.

The location was great
The bathroom was small, cold, and smelled because of the drainage. The sofa was also uncomfortable and broken.

You can have the luxury to be with your family / friends and share all the happiest moments after a long day or travel as the place is too big enough for that bonding. It’s also situated near the lake, convenience store and best of all, the scenic spot of Hakone.
None that I can think of.

The location is good. Walking distance to tourist spots.

Great location within the Hakone leisure circuit, well served by buses. Room was really good value and swallowed a family of six thanks to good design. Style “garage den turned AirBnB” may not suit some but we loved it. Good standard of interior fixtures and fittings blended with industrial feel.
Something to be aware of, because of the style of the property there is not much natural light, so when it is described as a city view it would be more accurate to say no view at all. Also, everything in the area seems to be geared around the tourist circuit so as soon as the boats stop running around 5pm everything closes down, so you need to be prepared for an evening in when it’s raining.

Exceptionally clean property. Very well equipped kitchen. Loved the capsule coffee machine! Shower room had shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryer and pyjamas to borrow. The double beds were very comfortable. Projector and screen were brilliant. Staff were very helpful
It was a bit difficult at first to connect to projector screen.

Excellent location, very easy check-in, and out . Well equipped apparement
The apartment has a damp or musty smell.

Next to Lake Ashi, 2min walk to bus station, room with kitchen and 2 big sofa!!
If you have large luggage, then it is not easy to carry to level 3 as there are only stairs available.

Location close to Moto-Hakone Bus Terminal/Port made getting there to check in ourselves as a family convenient. Close to bus transport for other sightseeing spots around Hakone & Odawara. Only 1 or 2 streets away from Lake Ashi where there were an array of eateries & shops to browse, especially the Bakery.
The ground floor accomodation was unfinished, in that there were exposed concrete floors in the main living areas, exposed air-conditioning ducting, wood, plaster board panelling & wiring supposedly to give it a trendy/eclectic look. Wind out windows had pop out insect screen in bathroom only and surrounded by mould around the window & bathroom walls along the floor. Being next to a common walkway to a local kids' park playground higher up via a public staircase, public rubbish, brick a brac, tanks were disposed of outside the toilet window wall which has no fly screen. Toilet was very small, exposed concrete floor and floor drain smelled. There was mould, dusty, dampness smell throughout the unit and was worse when trying to sleep in the bunker bed areas. The bed sheets, bedding felt damp, the vinyl lounge sticky the backs of the lounge cushions uncleaned, stained. The feather stuffed bed pillows smelt of dampness, mould, dust, like a wet animal. I could not sleep on them and the filling had disintegrated to nothing, may as well not had a pillow at all. Had to use the couch pillows, but they didn't smell very clean either. The shelf in the toilet was barely held on by 1 screw which left it unstable to hold anything apart from the toilet roll on one side, otherwise it will tip crookedly making everything fall off, so was cautious not to touch it after making it straight. There were green mould/fungi patches around the rubbish bins, wood panelling on the kitchen cupboards had splatter marks on them. Although it accommodated 5 to 6 adults, there was nowhere to put luggage/suitcases because the wardrobe was full of store & cleaning products for the apartment? Therefore hardly anywhere to move/walk when all had checked in. Pyjamas & towels provided were kept in the bottom drawer of the bathroom which had poor ventilation, so steam made them damp & musky too.

Great view, overall clean
Couches were pretty heavily stained.
3.8
easy access with good location and furnitures are clean
the door lock seemed to be very difficult to use

location, spacious, convenient (washing machine, microwave, coffee machine etc)
nothing really, we had a great stay

It’s a stone’s throw away from the Motohakone port so it was easy for us to board the sightseeing cruise ship. The room had all the basic amenities to make our stay comfortable but it feels a bit expensive for a night’s stay
The interior seems and looks unfinished

The apartment had all facilities and was quite stylish. It was right in town across the road from the German sausage shop and central in the main shopping centre. It was a short walk one way to a large 7/11 and a short walk the other way to a Lawson convenience store. For around 2,000 yen you can get 2 hours in the onsen in the hotel across the road with the best view ever.
The floors and walls are not complete and look as though you are staying in a factory unit. I'm guessing the owner is a business that owns many of this style for a fast buck. The place is a great layout but needs floor coverings and a coat of paint on the walls to look finished and professional.

there is no private parking but thre is a free parking nearby

It was much better than we were expecting - it was like staying in someone’s home with a lot of personal touches. We were a group of 6 and felt well accommodated with sufficient bedding. We had pyjamas and sandals and full toiletries. There was a microwave and coffee machine too. The place is an older building but well kept inside. The heating was the best we have experienced so far - slept very well. The location is impeccable- right next to Lake Ashi and the dock for the pirate ship cruise. The bus from Odawara stopped right near it just a minute’s walk! It’s bustling in the day with souvenir shops and cafes but most are closed by 5 pm. We managed with instant foods from Lawson and a Chinese eatery nearby that served a cheap hearty meal. It’s really value of money!
Nothing

Good Location, clean room, recommend for family trip.
Car parking a bit far from accommodation.

The location of this place is great, so close the lake! You get an entire mini apartment, with small kitchen, 2 double bed bunk beds and a pull down projector screen. Clean, amenetities provided. Would stay again.
Since we went in February it was quite cold in side but the heaters worked well. But there is nothing to complain about this place, would stay again.
Do note that you cannot drop off your luggage early and go out for the day, same when you check out. You cannot leave your luggage for the day. Also no windows if you get the downstairsapartment, just so you're aware. I think the pictures show the upstairs apartment.
Pull down projector, only really works if your phone allows mirroring and you can projector Netflix. You can't watch Netflix or channels straight from the projector itself and I think it needed to be configured as slightly blurry at the top. But a great add on feature.

It was electric key with password, and was convenient

Location was PERFECT! just 1min walk from bus stations and a short enjoyable walk to the moto hakone port were we took the pirate cruise ship using our hakone free pass.. they provided good coffee pods and facilities were so clean and well thought off.. we are a family of 6 and we loved our stay here..
could have been better if there was a washing machine provided.. they have a great projector, but hope they could setup a netflix or disney+ account were we could enter/use our own accounts so we would have enjoyed more the use of the projector instead of Japanese Local Chanels only.. but still these things are all acceptable because we loved our comfortable stay in the property :)

The location was fantastic and the place itself was cozy and felt like home. The accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed.
We booked the room on the 2nd floor, but the stairs were a little steep and narrow. We had a little difficulty getting our baggage up but was not really a major issue. Overall, it was an amazing stay.

The location was excellent- close to the lake and boat port, lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were really helpful and the stay was fantastic. Really cosy apartment, comfy beds, coffee machine and movie projector screen. Can't wait to stay again!
