A lovely ski getaway for a decently sized family !
10.0
We had a great time at the cabin. We went with our kids and another family and enjoyed the set up with the bunk beds in one room and two other bedrooms for adults. Bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and downstairs playroom were all spacious and clean. About 45 min to Bear Valley and 7 minutes to "downtown" Arnold.

Great house!
We really enjoyed staying in this house. It was roomy (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 12). There is a downstairs basement game room with a TV and air hockey, which was fun. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We drove back and forth to Bear Valley for skiing. About a 45 min drive.

Cabin in the woods
We loved our stay in the cabin. It was quiet and comfortable. We had a problem with the coffee pot that was broken and Vacasa took care of the problem immediately. We highly recommend this house.

Dissappointed
There were lots of problems with this property. Some of the amenities listed were in poor repair - stove, refrigerator, barbecue. The Wi Fi network could not be accessed without the assistance of the property management after a day and a half in the residence. There were no instructions about the general use of the cabin. The deck was filthy and was very squeaky. Most of the closets were locked, and there was no broom to be found. We loved the area, but guest passes for the resort use could not be found. Take your proof of rental address and you will be okay.

Overall a good house
Overall, this house was good and was really too big for our little family, but most rentals in Arnold are this size, so knew what we were getting into. Location was nice and quiet but a little ways to get in and out into the main road. Also, a thing to note, some may not feel the same, but I felt uncomfortable with having close neighbors displaying confederate flags.

Spacious, cute & convenient
Second time staying in this home. Everything was as listed. The wifi worked perfectly (the first time the wifi did not work). However, both times the fireplace had issues. The first time we stayed, it was completely full of ashes and there was no wood. This time, we brought our own wood and we walked in to a sign that said “out of order”. I think anyone going to the snow would consider a working fireplace a necessity. The central heat worked great but I would have loved the vibe of a fireplace. The home was very clean & welcoming and the location was perfect for my kids to play in the snow. Would book again!

Spacious and comfortable!
My family loved the spaciousness! It was a wonderful trip and we enjoyed the cabin with all its accommodations.

This was a great family cabin for our large family. Each couple had a large bedroom and the kids shared a large room with bunkbeds. There were plenty of nice quality towels and bedding for everyone. The heater worked really well and there were even small space heaters and fans in every room, including down in the playroom. It was very clean and liked the open concept to enjoy cooking, eating, and relaxing all together. The kitchen was well supplied with a variety of cooking utensils, plates, cups, glasses, extra paper supplies and cleaning supplies. The WiFi kept up with all the electronic devices and entertainment. It would be nice to have a TV on the main level to enjoy a movie or show with the entire family. The kids really enjoyed playing video games on the lower level and did not disturb anyone above taking naps or having conversations. The cabin is in a great location near town and still has a beautiful & quiet surrounding.

Mostly as pictured and described.
The good: Cabin was exactly as pictured inside. Very clean upon arrival.
The bad: (Mostly issues regarding winter weather). The 6 parking places? Only plowed for 3 cars. Not even a snow shovel provided....really? We had to dig out from almost 2 feet of snow. It would have also been useful to carve a foot path to the front door from the driveway. Thank goodness we brought plenty of our own firewood. The house's heating system really required the wood stove to work. (25 to 30 degrees outside). The tv is located on the bottom floor and was so cold, it was mostly unusable except for the air hocky table. The heating system duct down there was worthless and the wood stove heat never gets down there either. Popcorn and a movie went out the door. Not there to watch tv, but a tv on the main floor would make sense. Oh yeah, power was lost in the area for our last day there (its winter, I get it), but you were on your own to figure how to make-do. Stove is propane, thank goodness, but igniters are electric (fyi) Central heat is propane, but with electric igniter it was out of commission. Don't know if water heater is electric or gas, but it too was out. There was one candle, one gas lighter and a box of matches.
Recommendations: Have some winter instructions besides asking that boots be left at the door (we did religiously). Include some specific instructions regarding use of the wood stove (with pictures). The damper lever position on the side and the not obvious air flow lever in the back take some figuring. If you are not going to provide ANY emergency lighting or even a shovel, say so. I would have a winter contingency supply list that one should bring to this facility. Wood is not an option to the heating system. Really required to be warm. Do not think you are going to buy a couple of boxes of logs at the local market and get by (maybe for a few hours). Arrange for wood from someone local or bring your own like we did.
In conclusion, the cabin was fairly priced for the space, bedrooms, beds and baths. Kitchen utensils and amenities very adequate. Thank you for what was an enjoyable experience and stay.

Family winter stay
Cabin is exactly as pictured and described, except only space for 3 cars (plowed) not 6. W
Firewood is absolutely essential. Make sure you arrange for it or bring it along. No emergency essentials are included. Bring lights, etc. We had to borrow a snow shovel from a neighbor to get out.
Very family friendly. Perfect sledding spot next to cabin for the kids...okay, adults too. Very good value for the space and amenities.

Nothing works as advertised
Internet down for 2 days we had to stand outside and use our phones to do our work. NO BBQ, NO outside heater. NO extra toilet paper no paper towel. NO back up propane. Total let down. I have pictures if someone want to follow up.

Pass on this one.
Tv didn't work, unless you wanted to watch vhs movies. The light was not functioning outside the slider door, so you had to bbq dinner with a headlamp. The sliding glass door is so worn out the children couldn't hardly use it, ended up using the front door to access the deck. Check in time is three pm, with no exceptions.
