About this house rental
Located on beautiful Union Pass in Dubois, Wyoming, this home features a hand peeled log staircase ascending to a 1,500 square foot three bedroom, two bathroom home situated above a 1,500 square foot shop that is always open for your use. The master bedroom with king sized bed has a full private bathroom. The other two bedrooms feature twin over twin and twin over full sized bunk beds. The open kitchen/dining/living area can accommodate the entire family. You can sleep up to 12 people and is completely furnished with everything you need to make your family or group comfortable. The heated floors will keep you toasty and warm even on the coldest days.
The home features spectacular views of the valley below and mountain ranges in the distance. It is the perfect base camp for your adventures. Located less than a mile from the Shoshoni National Forest you never have to trailer your toys. From the Shoshoni National Forest, the Teton National Forest and the Continental Divide are just a short distance away for the most amazing adventures. Snowmobiling, four wheeling, hiking, fishing...whatever your heart desires is close at hand.

Overall our stay was fine. The listing is a little deceiving. The apartment is above a workshop - which was used everyday we were there. It also sits directly behind another big workshop which was a popular gathering spot for several people while they worked on their various utv's/vehicles. The driveway is odd - you can't park in front of the garage but also there were always several utvs/vehicles parked all around our car. The biggest issue we had - the neighbor's dogs were at our rental by 630 in the morning and spent over 2 hours tearing at the downspouts and banging them against the house. We told the neighbor and he told us he didn’t care and it was no big deal. The rental owner didn’t seem to care either. It wasn't the worst place we have ever rented, but it definitely wasn't accurately described. If you want quiet - this is probably not for you.

This is a beautifully built house/ cabin right on the edge of the mountain side. Incredible views out of the west side of the building and a lovely porch off the front entrance. There are a few cabins and a guest ranch right along the road, but it is still very remote. The only surprise was that it was about 10 miles outside DuBois and up a very steep 8ish mile windy dirt road. When there is bad weather, I think the road would be a bit dicey with a passenger car. And the altitude is about 8400 feet (1500' above DuBois) While cell service was sketchy all the way through the mountains, the house has awesome wifi. We did our own cooking and the kitchen served us well. Plan on bringing all your own condiments, but there are basic spices and cookware/ dishes. The master bed was very comfortable, but the bunk beds were a bit uncomfortable for adults. All in all this was a comfy homey place to return to after long days exploring Tetons and DuBois. Larry, the owner, mostly lives in the neighborhood and was super helpful. We will definitely try to stay here if we head through Wyoming again

This was our first time visiting Wyoming Very glad that we decided to rent from Larry as our entire family had an amazing time! The home is outside of town on a mountain top with amazing views, including some amazing sunsets right over the mountains, exactly what we wanted. It's right off of Union Pass which was an absolutely beautiful area to explore. It's also only a couple hour drive from Yellowstone if you wish to make a day trip to there as well.The entire little mountain top community in which the home is located was very peaceful. Larry and everyone we met were all very friendly. I highly recommend staying at Larryland, hopefully we will be back there someday!

Booked late (for me anyway) for family vacation, centered between Yellowstone and Jackson hole, so glad I did! Beautiful mountain setting, breathtaking vistas, wildlife and cozy house with all the furnishings. Pleasant host and great communication. Would definitely book this again! Thanks Larry!

Perfect for snowmobiling
Perfect facilities and location for our guys snowmobile trip, the heated garage is a bonus for thawing the sleds out every night!

Beautiful home and location
The experience way exceeded my expectations. The home is spacious and comfortable. The bedding, bath and kitchen utensils/wares afforded all the comforts of home. The house is atop a hill bordering unique Wyoming wilderness. Deer roamed through the yard every night. We rented a utv down the road and took a scenic river raft trip in Grand Teton Park. The house is remote. It’s a 5 mile drive up a gravel/dirt road. But there is a guest ranch about 1000 yards from the house. I loved the solitude and breeze. Hope to return again.

Mountain paradise!
We loved our stay at Larryland. It was so comfortable and Larry was so accommodating. I would describe it as one of our best getaways. Wildlife everywhere and amazing views, and a great home to stay in. Larry was there to welcome us and answered questions we had about the area and connected us to whomever we needed to make our mountain vacation the best it could be. Thank you Larry for everything, we will definitely come again.

Great getaway in the mountains
We had an amazing getaway. A little over an hour to Grand Teton but the drive was beautiful! It is a bit from town, but that's what we were looking for - a bit secluded. The owner was very friendly and great to work with!

Gorgeous place!
Place was absolutely beautiful with amazing views and great riding right down the trail from the cabin. Larry was very helpful and courteous of us and our stay. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be looking into going back next time we’re out that way!

Property was great owner Larry was amazing use of the shop and tools were unexpected but greatly appreciated cabin was well furnished and kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve 9 of us access was easy even with our 46ft trailer will defiantly stay again.

Fall Girls Getaway
We had a fabulous stay at Larry’s place! We missed some warmer weather but nevertheless had a great time! The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. Definitely coming back to Larryland!! Thank you so much!!

Quiet and Spacious
My wife and I were very happy with the cabin. It was great because the cabin was nestled on a large guest ranch that was situated on top of the mountain, so it provided amazing views of the valley. It was also really neat that there was a small community with a bar/restaurant but everyone was amazingly friendly and very quiet. The cabin itself had everything we needed and then some. Even though the WiFi had some problems on the first day, the owner promptly fixed it without further issue. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance.

Warm despite the storm!
Larry was a great host and made sure we had what we needed... even accommodating our late arrival due to a wild snowstorm that shut down the roads (65 degree drop in 24 hrs!).... able to enjoy those radiant heated floors... mmm! The weather turned fabulous just that fast. Excellent floor plan and a great master bed.

Union Pass Rd Getaway
We had a great time at this house. Perfect for us to get where we wanted to go and back before dark. Larry and his wife were great hosts...introduced us to the neighbors, who were very nice and we had a blast.The kitchen was well stocked for cooking everything we brought. Great views from the back of the house to see the valley and night sky. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed. We especially enjoyed seeing the stars at night. Very peaceful area to visit.

Me and Du-Boys
We stayed for one week in this clean and wonderful cabin! During this time we went to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, took a guided Wind River float trip and rode our ATVs on seemingly endless trails bordering this property WITHOUT having to trailer them...amen! The owner was friendly and quick to respond when we contacted him!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Great Visit to “Larry Land”
Larry was great, so was his place. Spacious, clean, accommodating and nestled well at the top of a mountain. Short walk to a local restaurant with good food and nice people.

Family trip to Wyoming
Thank you Larry! We absolutely LOVED our stay in Wyoming! The property was beautiful and very clean. Beds were comfy and we had more than enough towels and extra blankets. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would possible need and then some. The owner (Larry) as well as everyone at Crooked Creek were wonderful and we had a great time getting to know them. The restaurant/bar at Crooked Creek was very convenient (less than 2 min walk from house) to grab a bite to eat or buy ice for coolers. We would definitely stay here again when coming back to Wyoming and will recommend “Larryland” to our friends.

Wonderful Wyoming Experience!
Cabin was wonderful with an amazing view of the mountains and sunsets. Although we came with everything we would need for our 4 night stay, the cabin was completely stocked with any and everything you could imagine from hand soap and lotion to paper towels and laundry detergent. The beds were comfortable and the couch pull out bed was as well. There were plenty of clean linens and bath towels. We were so grateful to be so close to Crooked Creek Ranch Bar and Restaurant (2 minute walk).
We were able to grab ice from them for our coolers and we enjoyed great drinks, pizza and fantastic fellowship with the incredibly friendly staff.
Larry, the owner, was readily available for us when we needed him for smaller items (Plunger 8) and questions about local spots).
We would HIGHLY recommend you rent this cabin and enjoy the beautiful quietness and wildlife of the mountains. Thank you Larry for being so great!!
