Redtail Retreat: This lovely 2500 square foot three bedroom home, tucked into the trees of The Galena Territory, is a great place to retreat. The front door opens into a conversational gathering room with plenty of seating. Adjacent to the gathering room is the spacious kitchen area which is separated from the 8 person dining area by a counter with stools that enables the cooks to converse with those at the table. The screened porch is located just off the kitchen as well as the outside deck which is equipped with a gas BBQ grill. The main floor has the master bedroom with attached master bath. This bedroom has a king size bed with a flat screen smart TV, the adjoining bath has a shower stall, double sinks and Tub. Downstairs, in the lower level, there are two bedrooms and a Gathering/Media Room. The first bedroom has a Queen Size bed with an attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a King Size bed with an attached bath that is shared with the downstairs gathering/media room. This downstairs gathering/media room has a sectional couch with a lounge chair, large flat screen TV, gas fireplace that turns on with a flip of a switch and a wet bar. Outside on the lower level is the deck with a hot tub that accommodates 6 people.

The house was perfect for our 3 couples. Plenty of room for all of us and plenty of common areas for us to spend time. Not far from downtown galena, and the owners club pool was awesome. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend this home! Very easy to contact the manager also.

We enjoyed our stay very much. House is great and at a great location. We spent a lot of time sitting out on a porch just looking out in the woods, chatting. There’s plenty of space to do your own thing or enjoy the company. House is clean and well stocked. It is also short drive from most Galena attractions. We will definitely go back.

Nice layout, pretty backyard view, hot tub was great, strange smell we couldn’t get rid of, wasn’t the cleanest (cobwebs, dust and hair found in bathtub).

My Family recently stayed & enjoyed this house. Even though we had two days of solid rain. Thank goodness the hot tub was located under a covered porch. It was great sitting in the hot tub with the pouring rain very tranquil & relaxing. The bed were very comfortable, kitchen came with toaster, coffee maker (not Keurig), and blender. If you plan on cooking a lot here supplies are very basic (have had better stocked kitchen in other Vrbo rentals). Spacious and clean rental would not hesitate to rent again. Back yard with adirondack chairs to overlook quiet valley. Easy communication with host. Thank-you for the relaxing stay.

The home was very clean and orgainzed. Thank you. I would recommend a minor minor detail. Please clean or replace the coffee pot. It took almost 1 hour to make 6 cups of coffee. Thanks for providing a wonderful place for a moms group to relax and enjoy time away to refresh.

I recently stayed at this VRBO rental property, and it was a fantastic experience. The property was quiet, clean, and had great accommodations. The highlight for me was definitely the hot tub, which provided a relaxing escape after a day of exploring. The furniture in the property was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. However, there was one minor issue: the bed frame in the master bedroom was a bit creaky with normal use. It didn’t significantly impact my stay, but it’s worth noting. We also took advantage of the grill to cook some delicious burgers. Unfortunately, there were no grilling utensils specifically suited for hamburgers. It would be great if the property owner could provide some appropriate tools for future guests. While the kitchen was well stocked overall, I did notice that the knives were all quite dull and dangerous. As someone who enjoys cooking, this was a bit disappointing. A set of sharp knives would greatly enhance the culinary experience for guests. Despite these minor issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this VRBO rental. The positives far outweighed any negatives, and I would happily return for another getaway. Thank you for providing a lovely space for relaxation and exploration!

Really enjoyed all the elements of this property. This is a welcoming space perfect for six adults for a friends weekend. The upstairs living room is tranquil and comfortable. The kitchen well designed and ready to support what ever your meal needs. The view overlooking the ravine was perfect for watching squirrels frolic from branch to branch. The upstairs primary suite is wonderful with proper bathroom with walk in shower, jacuzzi tub and dual vanities. Downstairs you find a large family room, big screen TV and fireplace. Two more bedrooms with their own bathrooms and lower deck access to hot tube. We loved the house, it added to the specialness of the weekend for each of our guests. On winter weekends you will stay warm and cozy. Plus you can head out into Galena Territory for a variety of potential winter activities. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful place. Very comfortable. Note: made us believe there was a wood fireplace and to bring our own wood but there was not one to use. Kitchen cabinets need to be reorganized and dispose kettles etc that are no longer good. We enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back but this time will not haul our wood. :)

Our family was impressed with this home. This house had great natural views, good layout, and nice decor. Hot tub fit about 5 to 6 people and home had plenty of space for six people. Hot tub could use a little bit more maintenance.

We chose a home nestled in the woods that was technologically updated and offered a modern and warm environment, and this home was everything we hoped for and more. The property manager, Jolene, could not have been more helpful, efficient, and friendly. When we return, this will be our first choice!

We had such a great time at this place! The hot tub was our favorite. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. There was an odd smell that seemed to be coming from the kitchen sink, would recommend looking into that.

Accommodations were appropriate for the 6 of us. Temperature was great. Wish we had more time there. Would rent again. The half bath toilet had a smear of stool on the inside bowl when we arrived.

Red tail retreat was a perfect getaway for our family. It was immaculately clean, and had the perfect setup with two bedrooms and living area in the lower level, and the master upstairs. Our favorite places were the screened in porch and the bottom deck where we enjoyed chatting surrounded by nature. This is a beautiful, secluded home.

Redtail retreat is just that! We had a girls weekend here & loved the home - so comfortable! Nature is directly in the backyard - the birds greeted us each morning, and a cute toad joined the front porch one evening.! We loved seeing the wild turkeys!

Great property with wooded lot at the end of a quiet street with lots of wildlife. We loved the kitchen and 3-season room. Convenient to golf, wineries and downtown Galena. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the 5th time I've rented a place in the territory, each time staying at a different home. This home, by far was the best. Very clean. Nice, screened in porch, very clean hot tub, and comfortable beds. Perfect for 3 couples, families or girls weekend away. The only thing outdated were the appliances which worked fine. Nice size pub style kitchen table, perfect for playing games. We will definitely stay here again.
