About this cabin rental
Welcome to River Run in Blue Ridge, Georgia! The perfect Blue Ridge Cabin for multi-family and friend's vacations! We are located in one of the most desirable areas on the North Tocca River in the Aska Adventure Area and less than 15 minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge. So close to the North Georgia Mountain wineries, breweries, dining, hiking and shopping!
Check out the new gourmet kitchen, dining and living room, wine & coffee bar, two dishwashers, Generac Generator, updated bathrooms, wood burning fireplace, level grass play yard, and 9 picture windows for viewing the river inside the cabin for cooler weather approaching this season. Not many cabins in the Aska Adventure area can boast a main floor entertainment open area with 1000 square feet on the river, plus another 2700 square feet in the cabin.
If you are a "Master Chef", "Sous Chef" or "Personal Family Chef", you all will be extremely pleased with this very well stocked, well planed and extra large kitchen and bar with dining seating for 14+ guests.
We are in a quiet fishing village along the fresh, natural flowing North Toccoa river feeding Lake Blue Ridge. This is where nature and modern comforts come together. Spacious yet cozy, this extra large cabin has three extra large bedrooms, each with a spectacular views of the river. We are comfortably situated for easy access on a moderately level, waterfront, river lot for all generations. Many cabins in the "Aska Adventure Area" have limited accessible access with a moderate level lot for parking, entering the cabin, and playing outdoor games. We are nestled at the end of the private neighborhood lane on the river and in a private fishing village.
The main floor includes an extra large living, dining and kitchen entertainment area, walk-in bathroom with laundry amenities, and a king master bedroom suite. The main level entertaining area is a 36’ by 34’ foot room and opens up to a large porch overlooking the river- a perfect place to relax, entertain, share meals, enjoy music, or just sit and listen to the river.
So much space for cooking, entertaining, games, Fall football games and reading. A new tv has been added for viewing football on the porch as well as the river at the same time. Want to play some Classic 80's music, we have an 80's Pioneer receiver step up with Apple Wifi to push with your phone’s music list and listen to some good old tunes that we played on turntables in last century! Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside the cabin. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and river which can disturb unseen guests.
The top floor suite has its own full private bathroom with walk-in shower, makeup/dressing area, a private deck, a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds(full size and twin size) overlooking the river.
The newly updated lower level walkout level has a private king bedroom facing the play yard and the river, with a full size bed nook right next door.
For recreation, the downstairs den has a pool table, foosball table, TV, outdoor covered ping pong table, karaoke machine, corn hole boards, a hot tub, a level grass lawn and seating area facing the river and on the river. There is also a pull-out couch and futon for those families needing more space for additional guests or those who gently purr late at night.
This Riverside Cabin provides an atmosphere that will be unforgettable overlooking 100 feet of waterfront. We have internet speeds with Fiber Extreme 300 Mbps, allowing "working from the river;" video calling, streaming movies, and playing online video games.
"A Whole-Home Generac Generator" is a must in the North Georgia Mountains to keep power on throughout the cabin with inclement weather and frequent power outages. One of the only rental cabins in our riverfront neighborhood offering this additional coverage. Unfortunately with large tree and power lines exposed, mountain areas have frequent power outages. Our cabin is prepared for continuing fun even when the rest of Blue Ridge has none!
We are a dog-friendly property- one of the few you will find in the area. We charge a $125 visit fee for up to two dogs allowed for the visit. Same fee for one or two dogs.
A neighborhood feeling with a private 1.6+ mile trail along the river, past a "Gem Mining and "Fishing Hole" experience and then circling back to the cabin with a mountain view of the river. We are on a private , quiet lane with only cars passing are to the three cabins past ours. We are almost a mile away from Aska road, so the water flowing over the river rocks is the only sounds heard. The cabin is situated in the Aska Adventure Area and less than a 15 minute drive to Downtown Blue Ridge shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, and outdoor activities. This is nature's tubing, kayaking and fishing paradise. It's a wonderful place in Blue Ridge to meet, relax, and enjoy!
Safety is a must, with multiple fire extinguishers, top floor fire ladder, CO/Propane/Fire detectors throughout the cabin. Spotlight ring cameras brighten the driveway and the back yard to provide safety illuminating the garbage bin and walkways and scare away those occasional mountain critters.
And remember the neighborhood was built in the 1980's and maintained by Fannin County, north of Atlanta in the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. We want everyone to go back in time to have fun in Blue Ridge with family & friends, but with the luxuries and modern conveniences of 2025! .....We would love to host your "Blue Ridge River Fun Memories!"
Please note the "Host Fee" within Vrbo Price Detail section. This includes the automatic $250 cleaning fee and/or the optional $125 pet fee of up to two dogs for only those guests bringing their dogs to visit the cabin.

Don't hesitate to plan your vacation at this property! The house was exceptionally clean and stocked to the gills with everything you could possibly need or want. There's ample room for a large group or a smaller family (There were five in our party. My husband and I, my in-laws and a relative each had our own floor with room and bed spaces to spare!). This section of the river is beautiful. The river itself is easily accessible for wading or floating or just chilling on the bank and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the water from the main level bedroom as well as the porch where we spent most of our time. The access road makes for a perfect walking trail and the amenities and recreational opportunities are such that you really don't have to leave for entertainment! The owner is a great communicator and very responsive. The family that owns this rental spends time there as well and they obviously place high priority on comfort, cleanliness and convenience. This is a pet friendly home but you would never know there have been any staying there! The location itself provides a relatively short trip into Blue Ridge. They have done a lot of renovations and I understand there are more to come. We slept great and woke up refreshed and relaxed every day during our trip. Definitely a home away from home!

Not much to say except the listing is exactly as presented online. Beautiful home, beautiful location. Perfect communication. Excellent “extras” including dog beds for my huge fur babies. Only wonderful memories from this stay. I LOVE the mountains and this house just made them even more perfect!

We come to Blue Ridge every year. We discovered one of our favorite activities is tubing on the Taccoa. This home was perfect! My Daddy was able to sit and watch the grandkids playing and tubing. The kitchen was a cooks dream and outfitted with anything you could think of! It was beautiful, peaceful and a week of bliss even with the rain!! I hope we will return next year!!

We had a great stay with family and loved tubing down the river. The great room was a perfect to gather and visit with everyone. There was plenty of room to eat and hang out. We dropped the tubes in at the Shallowford Bridge and it was a lovely ride. Blue Ridge was about 10 minutes away and it such a cute town. Would certainly return here again.

We have stayed in this property 10+ years ago and Tara has remodeled this property since. It is absolutely beautiful. Tara has thought of everything from a fully stocked kitchen with every pot and pan you could think of to plug with multiple outlets right next to the beds to be able to plug in all your devices. There is a big front yard for the kids to play in and a great entrance into the river. Our family had so much fun being all together and staying in Tara's cabin. 10/10 recommend.

We loved our time at River Run! The home was beautiful, spacious, and had everything you could need. The kitchen was so beautiful and perfect. The river and tubing right out of the door was so fun! Close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge for shopping/dining. Would come back and stay again.

Our first impression of the home was beautiful and the amenities were amazing. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and we loved having the two dishwashers! The sounds of the river and the wildlife were soothing and relaxing. The fire pit was a great way to end the night! The space really met our needs and we were comfortable. Having the second deck really allowed for our dog to stay in a safe place while we socialized. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Tara for being a great host making sure everything was in order.

This is a beautiful home and location!! We stayed during the winter, and I would LOVE to come back in the warmer months to tube down the river to the property :) There were 14 of us, and plenty of room for everyone. The main level is open, so we didn’t bump into each other all week, and there were plenty of places to sleep. There was plenty to do, even in the winter, with the pool table, foosball, ping pong, hot tub, games, and the river. We cooked 8 meals here and found everything we needed to make that happen.there are plenty of TVs and spacious bathrooms, and the WiFi was phenomenal. I did reach out to the owner when we first arrived because our code would not work, and got an IMMEDIATE response. While we were on the phone she was able to get us in in less than a couple of minutes. The owners are very friendly, and promptly answered my questions, and were eager to make sure that we were comfortable in their home. We enjoyed our stay so very much. Do not scroll past this place!

The owner was readily available and super kind! This house is stocked with things that I have at my own home. The location is quiet and peaceful and surrounded by trails.
We could also take a quick trip to gem mining and shopping or playing or a train ride downtown. We will be back!

Property was excellent, had nine family members. Some fished some shopped, all rode the train.
Had a physical plant issue upon arrival - host went above and beyond expectations to resolve the issue.

This beautiful property had plenty of space for our whole family to spend a few days on our fall break. There’s spacious river access and the house had lots of fun features to keep everyone entertained. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on the chilly evenings. The host was just wonderful and was readily available for help when needed. I would definitely recommend this property for a large family!

Three families stayed in the cabin, one on each floor. The kids, 10 & 12, couldn't get enough fishing in the river. Every waking moment during daylight was spent fishing, except for the time we went to my son's wedding. During the evening hours, they played pool in the basement.
The adults enjoyed coffee out on the screened in porch in the mornings, walking the road the runs along, or relaxing in the hammock beside the river. We wanted to enjoy a fire outside and make sommores, but we were tied up with wedding events during those times. The cleaning lady was so sweet. She left us the ingredients to make the sommores with a nice welcoming note.
We will stay again. It was incredible!

The girls from my Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Dept take girls trip when we all can and we got to stay here this year and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Tara has an amazing house with an amazing view, great location close to everything and when I say fully stocked with everything you need for an amazing stay, I’m understating it. Literally all we needed was food and drink! If in the area and need lots of space, this is it. Do NOT miss out on karaoke fun downstairs! Very clean, lots of fun and we will be back!

We love this house and it was even better this year. Tara has done a great job updating it and it was spotless when we arrived. Nothing compares to getting the family together for a delightful time on the river.

The house, location and owners are the best anyone could ask for. There is so much to do right there at the house and surrounding areas. The home is so well stocked with everything you can imagine. The bedrooms are huge. Such a great house especially if you have a very large group.
Thank you both so much once again for making all the amazing upgrades. We love it here and can't wait to come back.

This is our second time to stay at River Run. We have had a wonderful experience both times! This house is great for families. The kitchen is well stocked for the days we cooked at the cabin. One of our favorite things is tubing from the Shallowford area back to the cabin. Tara is very accommodating and easy to get in touch with regarding any concerns about the cabin. The cabin is in a great area on the river with close proximity to hiking, tubing and stores. We plan on returning!

Loved this home! EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING you need in a riverfront vacation home. Beautiful location, huge home, on the river! The home itself is super clean and FULL of everything you need for cooking, relaxing, and having fun. We wanted a place in the river with some entertainment features and we got so much more. Pool table, ping ping, corn hole, fire pit and more.
The River was better than expected, amazing weather, and made for a super fun, memorable family vacation.
Tara was great! We had a storm come through that knocked out the power grid in our area. Well, no worries! The full house generator kicked in and we almost didn't even realize it.
Just left today and already booked a longer stay for next year!

Wonderful experience. House is very well equipped and big enough for large family (we were 11 total ranging from toddler to grandparents). Something for all to do with games, pool table, foosball, ping pong and small yard for lawn games. Great location on river. Bring fishing pole and your own river float. Owner very responsive and helpful. Quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from town of Blue Ridge and all it has to offer. Highly recommend.

Excellent property for our family, 3 levels provided the separation while still being together. House is well stocked, kitchen appliances, soaps, paper products, trash bags, even baggies of all sizes. We were happy to restock. Host was quick to respond to our questions.
Loved the big play yard between house and river perfect for badminton, and the large fire pit with lots of chairs and roasting sticks. Tube floating, fishing, after dinner walks, hikes, river rock climbing, gem mining, miniature golf- all on property to within 1- 3 miles.
We will stay again and highly recommend.

It’s hard to describe how spacious this house really is. The proximity to Blue Ridge was great, having riverside access 20 yd’s off the property was awesome, a flat simple unloading process helped too. The property is very well appointed/stocked with all sorts of cooking utensils and was extremely clean. Tara was very responsive at all stages of the process- from initial booking, to pre check-in, to our arrival and checkout. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had.

We looked for a property that would accommodate our large group and this was a perfect fit! Tara provides everything you can imagine needing and was very easy to communicate with. Our power did go off but in about 90 seconds the generator kicked in and everything worked like normal. Temps were in the single digits and we were warm and comfortable in the house.
I highly recommend this property and would love to come back in warm weather!
5.0
Everyone in our family loved this beautiful home. Tara goes way above and beyond to make every room feel warm and welcoming. So many little extras, I couldn't possibly list them all. Anything and everything you could possibly need. In fact, when we book it again (and again and again), we'll fly in to Atlanta and just rent a car because the only thing you need to take is clothing and a few personal items.
The beds... ohhh those beautiful and super comfy beds... We didn't miss our own at all.
The setting is absolutely stunning! We were there in December so we didn't get to float the river but I can only imagine how fun that would be and to float right up to the front yard would be awesome. Our next trip will be in the summer.
Everything from the communications leading up to and during our visit, the wow factor when we arrived, the well appointed kitchen and the thoughtful details thoughout, exceeded our expectations.
We can't wait to visit this magical place again.
