Nice place 10min walking distance from the beach, great dinner and filling breakfast. Staff is super friendly. Internet working good, safe and calm environment, they organised a nice tour straight from the airport to Gorée Island for me (thanks Forrée!). In short, I can really recommend this place, loved it here.
Nothing.

Our stay was for only one night and due to rescheduling of our flight we did not arrive until 2am the following day. Nevertheless the staff were very helpful and welcoming. For the price we paid the value was fair.
The garden was lovely and the surroundings were peaceful and relaxing.
The location was quite a distance from the airport and the cost of taxis was 30000Cfa. Return to airport. Considering the short time we had three.

Not a good location
I would NOT recommend Ker Lep Jamm. Misleading advertisement on Booking.com. It said 11kms from the airport (AIBD ) to their place but it was actually 30kms. They did nothing to correct this..I declined their offer of a taxi/shuttle for €23 as I thought I could get cheaper for 11kms. They did say no local bus. The taxi driver quoted me a price of 3,000 CFA but when we eventually arrived after 30kms he demanded much more. We had a big argument and he got aggressive. The people at Ker Lepp Jamm refused to let me in until I paid the taxi driver despite being their fault 100%. Disgusted . The French (?) lady at Ker Lepp Jamm told me they had a lot of problems with taxi drivers and guests, even the night before a female guest was left crying after a dispute with the taxi driver. but still they didn't correct the misleading information ? 11kms instead of 30kms. They were very unhelpful to the point of putting me in danger with the driver. This was totally avoidable .Eventually I paid the driver £35.00 Sterling (about 42 or43 Euro). Not a good start to my holiday. The people at Ker Lep Jamm have no idea how to run a guest house or deal with people. Utterly hopeless. Very angry. Also, the location was not good, up a dirty, dusty path with half finished, unkempt buildings surrounding it. I didn't even see the beach.

The room was nice and quiet and we liked that the beds had mosquito nets. Room size was good and the bathroom clean and comfortable.
The Breakfast was tasty, french bread with different jams, coffee and tea.
It is possible to buy local produced jams there.
The small calm hotel is lead by a french expat and her partner from Senegal.
The beach is not far away (10min walk).
There is also a shuttle service with a taxi driver who takes you from the airport to the hotel, which is nice when you arrive late in the evening at 0:00 AM f.e. The drive from the Airport to the hotel is about 40min and the price is fixed by the hotel (so you pay at the hotel the hosts for it).
The hotel has a nice garden.
The rooms are clean but a little bit empty.
The price for the transfer from the airport to the hotel was a little bit much (when you know the fares for a local ride in Senegal), but ok in total. It was the best option in this case, especially when you arrive in the middle of the night.

I mean it’s a stretch from Dakar but very close to the new airport. but that’s not a deal breaker. it’s still an awesome place to stay.

If you are looking for a nice, conducive and friendly people closer to the airport in Dakar don't look nowhere but Kerr lep jam. The owners Musa, Cindy and their staffs Mareme and chat are amazing and welcoming.
Nothing to complain about. They will even share their food with you for free

Good option for tranzitimg, like in my case.
It was my second stay at Ker Lep.
The owners and the staff are very friendly and useful..
I belive that even a long stay (in the dry seazon ) would be nice and pleasant.
The transfer cost from and to the airport is much more expensive than the accommodation cost when you stay just one night.

The people were friendly
There was a massive dog at the place. They chain the dog during the day and at night they unchain the dog. I was incredibly scared of the dog
