Tucked away in a secluded residential community away from high-tourist areas, this bright and cheery home is perfect for your next visit to the Washington coast! A two-bedroom, one-bath home, this singular retreat is an ideal place for you to kick up your feet and enjoy the silence. You'll be able to take in the great Northwest views, rain or shine while grilling on the partially covered deck. The high tide nearly reaches the back of the deck which overlooks the harbor with views of the snow-capped Olympic mountains (and Mt. Rainier on clear days). Anyone wanting to see nature at its finest would love this location and birdwatching at this property is a dream, especially during migration periods. Lucky guests will even see a bald eagle in one of the nests located next to the house and there is a small landing strip behind the home where you can occasionally spy vintage planes taking off. You can also find sea lions, deer, and other wildlife, not to mention spectacular sunrises. At the end of the street, there is a small go-kart track for kids (seasonal) and near the docks, guests can buy fresh seafood directly from the fishing vessels that caught it. At small boutiques, people may purchase souvenirs, fresh-made fudge, saltwater taffy, ice cream, kites, and local artwork.
What's nearby:
If you want to enjoy more than the beach, this home is located near two state parks: Twins Harbor and Westport Light. There are also plenty of activities year-round including the Crab Races & Feed in April, Pirate Daze in June, and plenty to watch and see on the Fourth of July. You're also just a short drive from the gorgeous Westport Lighthouse as well as just two miles from the harbor. There, you can board your chartered boat for a day of fishing or grey whale-watching (in season) and get a post-boat dinner or drinks at one of the restaurants there. Finally, don't forget your surfboard as you'll want to hit Half Moon Bay - one of the very few spots in the Northwest where you can surf.

This was not the property that I reserved, but that property had some work being done that wasn't completed, so this property was an emergency substitute.
It's very nice and well maintained. The local rep was very helpful in getting us into the house.

When we drove up to the property, we thought we were at the wrong address. The outside appearance is concerning. A run down flat roof detached garage with faded worn off paint is the first thing you see. The paint on the house is in the same worn condition. Once inside it is much nicer. Although the cabinets seem to be original to the house it was clean and

I stayed here with my husband and 12yr old for 3 nights in June 2024. Deer were grazing off the porch as we pulled up and visited us again the next day. Views were stunning and the location was conveniently close to the docks and not a far drive from my favorite Grayland beaches. We also observed 2 bald eagles flying over the wetlands from the porch. The home was clean, comfortable and decorated with a very welcoming beach / surfer charm. My ONLY complaint with my stay, was the check in process and dealing with Vacasa. I will never book with them again after my experience. I was informed via text I could do an early check in so we headed over about 45 minutes early. There were two separate doors with 2 separate key pads and it was unclear which one was the main entry. When I called customer service for clarification, I was informed that because we were early she would need to reset the access code. A new access code was sent and did not work in either of the entrances. The representative accused me of being at the wrong property. I assured her it matched the pictures in the listing. She then instructed us to locate the lock box with keys that should be by the front door and gave us a code. That code did not work either. Eventually, we found a second lockbox with keys on the fencing of the patio, the code worked on this one, but the keys inside did not open the front door. I insisted she send somebody out for assistance and she agreed. We waited for an hour, help never came.

So nice and comfy and homey. I wish I could still be there! Great views and even a little airstrip! Close to the cutest little town of Westport. Really just lovely all around. We will be back!

Very homey feel; quiet; comfortable.

The wild life , we pulled in to three deer laying in front yard and sea loins out the back and lots of beautiful birds. And fun watching planes land and take off as the back deck is only 75feet or so from runway. And everything we needed but no grill but we didn’t ask if it was still available so something to ask if you are realizing before hand to ask about it. Great staff communication

This is the cutest older home. Lots of updates but it doesn't interfere with the charm of the original home. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the amazing views of the bay and the mountains. We had deer in the yard every morning and evening.

It was just what we needed. Had a few issues, but they were all reported. As some others mentioned, there is no BBQ grill outside, but the kitchen has every other appliance. It was very clean, which was important to us due to immune compromised. Note that I did not see any electrical outlet in the bedroom with the two separate beds until we stripped the beds for checkout. Outlet is right behind the headboard, just move the bedding.
Make sure to check the tide times. It is quite a sight to see the water flowing in the back yard just before high tide. Within a couple of hours it is all gone.
The beds were very comfortable for us. We got some very much needed sleep.

Good vibrational flow at this home !
I recommend taking pics outside without the barbecue so people will not be disappointed .
The only issue for me was the additional 30 added when my res was rerouted through Vacasa , but what are you going do.

It was a lovely home, quiet, peaceful and pleasant. The downfall was the mattresses were rock hard on all beds, which made sleeping well impossible and we both woke in back pain and left exhausted. We did enjoy lounging during the day though and saw a plane and some deer.

Nice house and awesome views. Very clean. Suggestions would be a marker of some kind at end of driveway as I drove past it the first time and hard to find at night. Also tv instructions for what remote is what. I would book again.

Very warm and comfortable home with plenty of space and amenities. Perfect for small family of 3-4 people. Very close to water and beautiful to watch the tide rise and fall right outside window. Love the location. Lots of great games and reading material to keep busy as well.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!! At first we didn't think we pulled up to the right location because the attached garage, but once we were on the porch, the pictures couldn't justify the amazing scenary! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. It's like a time capsule filled with books and I feel really shares the narrative for what it is like to live in West Port. The birds were quite a sight, and the small airport strip in front of the house is so neat. We did observe one plane take off. So appreciated! We hope to visit again soon ❤️ every amenity you could think of needing while out was provided. Uncle Tom's Cabin . Thank you Tom💜

This is a 5 star review on a 3 star house. It’s an older place that has seen wear on the outside and is aged without being vintage on the inside, but the vibe is fantastic. Once you’re in, you absorb the surfer feel and appreciate the meticulous cleanliness, the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable bed and recovered couch where you can relax. The view of a small airstrip right behind you and water beyond and the utter peacefulness of the place is great. There is a vast selection of surf DVDs that both took us down Bruce Brown memory lane and taught us about women in the sport after watching surfers at the nearby beach. Overall, a great stay!

Dishwasher full when we got there and garbage can not emptied. We enjoyed the stay and may be back. I recommend wiping the outdoor tables down and blowing the deck off but otherwise enjoyed the stay. Thank you

After trying to find a new place to stay, due to us having a boat, we found this gem. Beds and furniture were comfy and we enjoyed our freshly caught crab and variety of clam chowders as we like to taste test the local restaurants. Merino's hands down is the best clam chowder we have ever tasted! We have been up and down the Oregon Coast too. We saw a deer come through the yard which was totally cool. Got to see a small aircraft take off, and our boys enjoyed exploring the yard. The view is beautiful and neighborhood is quiet. The house is perfect sized. We were awoken in the middle of the night, thinking there was an intruder...Well, an opossum, who we think had been fed before at the house was knocking on the glass door and scratching at it and the deck. The opossum was super cute though.
The only drawback, was lots of cobwebs outside the house on the patio furniture and house.
The kitchen cabinets were in disarray, but I organized them for the next guest to easily find items they need for cooking.
We eventually found the lighter to light our outdoor burner.. Note, they are behind the silverware in the silverware drawer. Pull the drawer out further.
All in all, this house was great!

Run down property
Interior was sufficient for our weekend trip. The exterior of the house and property was terrible. Spider webs every where, gutters filled to the brim with debris, patio cover completely covered with tree branches and obviously zero effort to maintain this place. Patio furniture filthy as well. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Spacious, great deck and yard, quiet street and close to everything.

Great view and comfortable, warm home.
The interior of the house was clean, well equipped with a great view. The exterior really needed work, the gutters were overflowing, deck full of debris, exterior paint chipping away, grill needed cleaning, lawn needed mowing and mail box rotted out and fell over in the wind storm. The house also smelled of mold. Given the location, and the spring season, I can understand but not sure if there might be a more serious problem brewing. It is hard to battle the mold in this part of the state.

very relaxing
Excellent location, living room furniture could have been better. shower had black mold that is toxic and can be removed but was not and dishes had greasy fingerprints on them and dried food. property manager should make final inspection after cleaning crew leaves

Perfect getaway
This little cabin instantly makes you feel right at home. Has a beautiful view, spacious area for family dinners and dance parties in the living room. Warms up quickly with the woodstove, and not to far from anything you need or want to do. Been here now 3 times and it was perfect each time.

cozy cottage
My friend and I enjoyed our stay on a rainy weekend. The cottage living, dining areas are large and spacious with comfortable seating. The airport is between the cottage and ocean, but no planes arrived. Some reviews mentioned problems with locks, but we didn't have any problems--e-lock for deadbolt and door key inside lock box. Took a bit to figure TV had one remote to turn it on and a different remote for sound.

Adorable, comfortable cabin in quiet neighborhood. Would give it 5 stars but shower is bit small for us and we are normal sized.
