Beautiful, relaxing home, great accommodations for a large group. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. The canal provided boat travel along with visits from dolphin, manatee, and waterfowl. Sunsets are incredible.

The house was fantastic. Had most everything we needed in the kitchen and home. Very comfortable for our two families. We liked it so much we are returning next year

I understand that if the owners don’t have small children they wouldn’t think about it but… there was breakable decor everywhere. There was also a broken floor tile where my 2 year old sliced her finger open and one of the adults cut their foot open. At some point recently there had been a storm that broke out several windows and they were covered with plywood and the roof had a leak into one of the bathrooms. The property manager called at 9pm on check in day to tell us we would have to move to a different property but there wasn’t a comparable property available. So we stayed in the house with boarded up windows and a leak in the ceiling.

This was a very nice home in a nice area , but there were some under lying issue that need attention. The windows on to the pool area did not seal correctly and a lot of the tiles around the pool were loose and were a trip hazard.

What a wonderful house to spend a week in! This spacious house was perfect for three families and never felt crowded. The pool area was top notch and a huge hit with both the adults and the kids. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise from the dock behind the house. We would have liked to have a couple more pots and pans since we do like to doing our own cooking, but we loved the ability to be able to enjoy our meals together in the large dining area. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the beautiful home with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. Great pool. The pool was cold one day but a call to Vacasa was answered immediately and the pool heater was fixed the next morning.
Our entire family had a great time.

Ample room for family of 12
Beautiful, well appointed house with plenty of room for our family. Bedrooms are well placed in the house to avoid running into each other, and kept the house quiet when the little ones awoke early. Our only drawback was the pool area. It appeared it hadn’t been cleaned or taken care of before we arrived. Fortunately the pool service stopped in on day 2 of our visit and by day 5 most of the issues were resolved.
I would definitely recommend staying at this property if you have a large group.

My husband, 3 adult daughters, and their families stayed in this lovely home for over a week. The house was beautifully furnished, the amenities were just what we were looking for, and the entire family LOVED the pool. The space accommodated all 12 of us (7 adults and 5 children under 10) nicely. We felt close, but never cramped. Our ONLY complaint was the pool patio area. The pool is surrounded by paving stones rather than poured concrete. The stones have a tendency to pop up unevenly when water from the pool splashes out and puddles. The dry pavers were fine and caused no issues, but the ones directly beside the pool "floated" up creating a hazard. While I was walking across the pool area, I struck my toe on one of the up-ended pavers and broke it. One of my daughters is a nurse and was able to treat it and help me avoid seeking medical treatment, but I would hate to see it happen to anyone else-ESPECIALLY a child. That said, the pool was very nice; it was large enough for everyone to spread out and for the kids to play and was shallow enough for them to stand in more than half of it. The washer and dryer are front loader, high-efficiency models. The dryer did display an error message seeming to indicate there was a blockage in the drain. We were able to notify the owner quickly who arranged for a repair person to service the machine the following day. We had no issues after that. The dock just beyond the screened in pool was nice as well. My husband, sons-in-law, and grandchildren fished from the dock several times. One day, my daughter and her husband rented a boat; they were able to dock it here while they picked up some of the family and grabbed lunch. We were also fortunate enough to see 3 manatee in the canals one evening!
Here are a few pointers for future renters:
Front bedroom (by the front door): King bed, full bath (shower only) - this bedroom gets a lot of morning sun. The half-circle windows above the traditional windows lack any sort of shade. Put your early risers here.
Master bedroom (behind the front bedroom): King bed, full bath (soaker tub and shower), sitting area with sofa bed, pool access via sliding door. This room stays dark pretty late into the day. Very large, may be suitable for a family with young kids sleeping in the room.
Jack and Jill Suite: 2 twins in each room (4 total), full bath (shower only), double sinks. These rooms stay fairly dark throughout the day as well thanks in part to the blinds. We noticed these rooms were cooler than the other bedrooms. In addition to each room having a door, there is a pocket door to close off the entire suite.
Back bedroom (behind the Jack and Jill suite): King bed, full bath (shower only), pool access via door in the bathroom. This room stays very dark and due to its distance from the living room and pool, stays pretty quiet, also has a fireplace.
Kitchen: Fully equipped (pots/pans, flatware, dinnerware, etc.), in addition to standard kitchen appliances, there is also a warming drawer. 4 bar stools along the back kitchen counter, 6 bar stools around the large kitchen island.
Bar area: Wine fridge, Keurig, barware, stemware, 2 bar stools along the counter, small pool table.
Pool area: L-shaped pool, 3 ft by stair entrance, 2-person submerged seating area adjacent, closer to 4 ft by the bend, drops to maybe 8ft by the other side, 3-person submerged seating area along the deeper section. Waterfall at the bend, circular jacuzzi tub slightly elevated overlooking the 3ft pool area with a waterfall into the pool. Power for the jacuzzi jets is a white circular push-button on the brick surrounding the tub along the back near the lanai. Three (3) different seating areas around the pool: 2 person bistro table outside the master bedroom sliding door, large 8-10 person table under cover, slightly elevated over the pool patio, 4 person table under the lanai overlooking the deep end of the pool.

My stay was horrible, the pool did not work the entire time.
My experience with both vacasa and the local manager were horrible!! They ignored me and did not answer any of my issues. The pool was not working for the entirety of my stay. This entire house is false advertising do not stay here! There were bugs, clogged sinks, cold showers and NO pool. And what’s worse is this was a holiday weekend. Vacasa nor the local manager offered any help. The local manager started to ignore my phone calls until I called him from my sisters phone. He then said he would give me back 20% back!! 20% and we couldn’t use the pool the entire time!! I will never stay again, what’s worse is past complaints mention the pool and cleanliness of the home which means they know the issues and still rent this home. The tile around the pool is so loose it was coming up! Safety hazard. We ended up leaving two days early. What a waste!!

We arrived on Saturday and that evening we noticed water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Thinking someone did not let the cycle complete, we started it. The next morning, water was still in the bottom of the dishwasher.
We contacted Vacasa and we were informed they already knew about the problem. The dishwasher was still under warranty and the owner wanted a factory authorized repair person to fix it. On Monday morning, a Vacasa employee came and vacuumed the water out. We were told he checked the dishwasher’s filter and drain line and found no issues. They said they would contact a repair person. We asked to be notified later that day about the status of the repair.
On Tuesday we called Vacasa again and were informed that a repair person could not be there until Friday. We were also told, without asking, we would be issued a credit and would probably see it on our credit card before we left. On Friday we called to find out when the repair person would be arriving. We were then told that they now could not arrive until Wednesday (11 days after they knew about the problem) and were again told we would receive a credit. On Wednesday, the repair man cleared the dishwasher’s clogged drain line in less than 15 minutes.
It has now been four weeks since we departed and still have not seen a credit. We have contacted Vacasa numerous times and were told more than once they would look into it. During my phone call today, I was told they have to send me a check which will take another three to four weeks.

Perfect house for our trip!
The pool area and kitchen/bedrooms were fantastic!! The kitchen had plenty of seating, counter space and the double oven came in very handy! The loose tiles around the pool were a bit tedious and pinched a couple of feet. A few more basics upon arrival would have been helpful but we managed. Check in and check out processes were very efficient. We loved our time here and will definitely be back!!

Beautiful House
House is beautiful. Clean and ready upon check-in. As other reviews indicated, a few loose floor tiles in the pool area but didn’t cause any issues for us. A/C went out 1/2 way through stay and updated from the national Vacasa agency was poor but once I reached someone locally, the service communications and service was better. We’d stay here again.

TL/DR: House needs work/maintenance to reach potential.I would have actually rated this home even lower if it weren't for the help of the Vacasa team throughout our stay. This is great house with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the owners have not invested into maintenance/upkeep to realize and maintain that potential. The house needs a good amount of work for it to be worthy of the price tag, IMO. There are some more minor issues like a broken fan switch, to more medium ones like needing to be literally within an inch of a ceiling fan (requires a ladder) to operate via remote, broken deck chairs, or the absolutely filthy air filters/ducts/grates. To the bigger issues likely completely misaligned and uneven (jutting out 1/2 inch or more) pool stone tiles that create a huge safety hazard for anyone around the pool. We also didn't have any heat to most of the bedroom as it turned out there was no heating coil in the HVAC system (internal temp dropped down to 66 degrees). Thankfully now that's at least fixed. Pretty sure the pool pump was set to work at night and not during the day too.Cleaning was also sub-par. We needed to reclean all the tables, countertops, and shelves upon arrival. The kitchen and bathroom sinks were dirty with film/residue. Sinks don't seem to have been unclogged in ages, if ever. Basically, the cleaning crew seems to just quickly spray things down and move on. I was told upon inquiry that there just isn't enough time between guests to do an actual deep clean, which is surprising given Vacasa's Premium Clean promise. The only thing I can say is the at least James and Crystal from the local Vacasa team were very responsive and helped every way they could. But at the end of the day, the home owner needs to spend some time and money to bring this house to the right levels of safety and comfort.

Beautiful View - Spacious Home !
Roomy, tons of towels & linens, celling fan needs replaced in rear bedroom, silverware needs updated, washing machine leaks every 4th or 5th load (water on the floor), loose patio tiles are annoying to walk on (pinch your feet)...all in all, would stay here again.

Family Holiday
Lots of space for family gathering. We loved the huge lanai. Between the pool and large seating areas we spent most of our time out there. I read some bad reviews but booked anyway. So glad since in reality there were a few minor inconveniences. There are folding screens to cover glass doors in the master suite and bath for privacy, and there are loose tiles on lanai but no danger issues. The only thing that bothered us was paying so much to have heat for the pool and hot tub. Pool was okay but hot tub never got hot. Other than that we loved this vacation home and would definitely rent again.

Fire Property Management Company
This house was filthy!!!!! Location was great, home was great... at one time. Upon arriving, the housekeeper was still on site (2 hrs past check in) and we're pretty certain she did not clean. The master toilet was clogged. The guest shower clogged. Food and coffee spills on the floor. Even a used band aid on the table. The pool was crusted with algae and at least 50+ of the tiles around the pool were loose and not safe for children.
The main number for the vacation provider was responsive and apologetic however there was very little follow up from the on site management. They did have someone come out on day 2 and fix the shower and make sure the toilet was working in the master. They offered to have someone come out and clean but at this point we had already cleaned to move in as we had 3 couples looking to have somewhat of a vacation.
I have to say the house was done right, in a great location, the canal was beautiful but I would make them meet you there for inspection to ensure it is clean and safe for you... that being said, we did kill a cockroach while there as well.
Great house... enter at your own risk until they find a reliable property management company.

A great house
The pool area is best part of house, nice pool, sitting area and tv outside. Inside has plenty of room. Kitchen is huge with plenty of tools to cook with. Nice bedrooms with comfortable beds.

Wonderful family sized residence.
1) The cleaning staff used would be a concern for the
owners and the clients. I saw another renter mention this in the book.
Floors very dirty. Drawers with foody material in them and dirty.
We found ant sand in windows in the bedroom with the twin beds and metal headboards. Tried to clean this up a bit.
Dishwasher did not fully drain out. The filter is clean, but I would assume there is some drainage issues.
Recommendations:
-Try to have some spices and condiments and paper products ( paper towels, garbage bags) that are basic, this might be too much to request but other rental properties I have rented did have some basic things to start with.
-Appreciated the toilet paper at arrival. I have no problems providing this but a roll in the bathrooms is appreciated.
-Recommend adding a griddle for family breakfasts, ? electric frying pan as the pots and pans are pretty limited and very over used with poor client care I would assume.
-4 slice toaster for such a large home.
- I contemplated purchase of a Swiffer sweeper/mop to clean up the floors as this would be helpful in keeping up the floors. It is a lot of traffic with 12 people, but the floors were so dirty at arrival that our feet were very dirty and we did try to keep shoes off the floor as requested.
*It was great for the amount of dishes, glass wear and towels supplied. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in and enjoyed it very much.
We did a lot of laundry to keep up the towels for 12 people and hope this helped your cleaning staff to try to do a better job.
We had little ones and lots of window smudges.
There is not much for cleaning products that the clients could help up keep a bit without purchasing so much. Like toilet cleaners, window cleaner and granite cleaning products.
Some home have a playpen and high chair available but not many. It is quite nice tho. Those materials are available for rent tho in the area which helps a lot.
Overall if there were a few small changes it is a wonderfully large, spacious and beautiful home to rent. The pool area is great. The heating of the pool is very nice and well worth the cost as the kids really spent a lot of time in the pool.
The other homes we rented had check in people and out as well to be sure the home was kept in good shape. I was surprised this home did not require much of that at all. It was fine for us, but I would probably not have such a check in/out just for my protection if I were an owner.
Thank you very much, Lori

BUT -outside grill did not work, had no power for a few days in 1/2 of house because of old electrical panel, fridge needs service
BUT the local VACASSA staff , especially Krystal, were superb and got everything fixed
quickly to our satisfaction.
I would book again with Vacassa because of the great and attentive service and I would book this home again.

Nice home/area
The home was a really nice place to spend the week in. The only downsides I can think of were that the widows and sliding doors to the pool area where difficult to use.

Beautiful and quiet! Needs To be more equipped
The home is stunning! We loved the property! We feel that when you rent a home it should have more amenities. For example if you have fishing rods to have a small tackle box. Supply some condiments in the fridge no one needs to buy a whole bottle of ketchup for one meal. Supply more trash bogs and dish soap. All the extra little things we had to buy cost so much more than I intended when I already paid a nice price for the home

Great Vacation home with a few flaws
We recently stayed here for 8 days and with 7 adults and 5 children. Overall we will absolutely stay here again, however I feel there a few things that should be mentioned for future renters. 1) The main master suite has NO curtains!! This could be okay if the bathroom did not have see through window doors and a see through shower straight in! So if you want to stay with more than a loved one, beware everyone can watch you shower!! You will need to hide in the closet to change your clothes. 2) The hot water heater was shut off or extremely low, which we didn't know until a couple really cold showers. 3) The pool has some flaws, the fountain/overflow does not work properly, the heater shuts off and flashes FLO. Overall a great size pool and kids thoroughly enjoyed. 4) Propane tank was very low, and ran out within 10 minutes of starting to cook dinner, unfortunately no spare was in the garage like we expected. Had to come up with a plan b last minute. 5) We went on vacation packing light knowing we had a washing machine, however the washing machine DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK!! Thankfully my husband was handy enough to find the problem, and constantly fix the flow valve to allow it to work properly. The washing machine may have been the biggest hassle, as we like to keep clothes and towels clean often.
Overall, the home has been beautifully updated, extremely spacious, gorgeous canal view, great location in the Cape, fantastic outdoor space. We really enjoyed our family vacation here and hope to make it a yearly trip!
