Myself, my adult daughter and my mum all stayed at Wisteria Cottage as our base for some trips around the area looking for the seasonal wildflowers that were out at the time. We very much enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The nights were quite cool but the reverse cycle ac did a great job keeping us warm, as did the flannelette sheets! The location was also perfect. Very quiet but still close enough to town and the things we wanted to see and do. The cottage itself was clean and well provisioned, with our host very happy to resupply something when we had run out. Definitely on my list of places to return.

Our family ( with 2 kids aged 6 and 11) had a wonderful week! Everything has been thought of at Wisteria cottage - fully self contained with kitchen, BBQ and washing machine. It was quiet with beautiful gardens and within very easy walking distance to the water. It was a great base to explore Albany and the Porongurups.

Wisteria Cottage was an absolute treat. We loved the garden and would have really appreciated a few more days to spend some more hours sitting in one of the many cosy seating areas listening to birds and watching the plants grow! The cottage is not in Albany the town and for us that made it even more perfect. We loved having the quiet and calm of Bayonet Point as our base with an easy drive into town when we wanted to avail ourselves of what it offered. The kitchen was well equipped and a really excellent gas barbecue is provided. Our hostess, Angela, was really sweet - not in your face at all but responding quickly to any questions and available nearby if needed. The access process was exceptionally easy which we loved as we thought we would be arriving quite late. The photos of this cottage may make it seem a little worn, but truly its not - its spotlessly clean and in excellent decorative order. We would return anytime...indeed would probably plan our next travel to ensure we can spend a few days here again. By the way, you will regret it if you only plan for one night; this home away from home truly deserves more than that. Thank you Angela! Regards, Kerry and Steen.

Nice gorgeous surprise. Excellent garden and house. Accommodating host who answered our myriad curious questions and tolerated the kid using the basketball hoop at different hours of the day. From the first day kids were all about a repeat visit and we look forward to seeing Angela and Dion at subsequent bookings. Highly recommend.

Wisteria Cottage is a fabulous place, far better than the impression given on the website. We felt like had taken up residence in one of the Kew glasshouses in West London. It suited us just fine because we had hired a car and could get into Albany very easily. We really didn't want to be in central Albany with noise from traffic and trains. The only sound at Wisteria Cottage is the lovely chirping of birds and one night the thrum of the wind through the trees. Just idyllic! The coast is only just down the hill and great for walking. We're sorry we weren't more communicative with Janet but we were intensely involved with researching family history in the area and Janet's place was perfect for that. Spacious and well-equipped and the best place we stayed in in Australia.

We loved the house, Angela was wonderful as I got my dates mixed up but was ok to stay the extra night without any problems. I was so embarrassed, but this is my frost time booking online and I am over seventy year old so I appreciate her understanding.

Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and really comfortable. A little too far from town for us, but we loved our stay nonetheless. Host was immediately responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Cottage is much nicer than shown in the photos, surrounded by lovely gardens.

We loved our Albany break at Wisteria Cottage. Everything was homely and comfortable. The cottage is in a beautiful rural location. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a pleasant get away. We would happily book this property again.

I have no words when we all see the property because it was very clean and tidy. Because this is our first trip in albany and we are scared about the house but when we visit all are very happy. Because super friendly and quiet environment. Service was really nice. House is very clean. They provide you everything. These things are super handy for your stay. We are really happy to choose this house. The only suggestion is please add more and clear photos of property because its super nice. In photos it look like very old. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay. Beautiful cottage set in amongst an informal garden with places to sit to enjoy bird life. So quiet and peaceful and we had blue wrens joining us. Everything you needed is in the cottage, kitchen well equipped for cooking your own meals. Breakfast goodies provided for your first morning was really handy. Angela was very thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble. Very easy check in and out. Very short drive or a relaxed walk to the water and a supermarket was close by also.

We reallly enjoyed our stay here. Its out of town but that suited us. Besides Albany town center and surounding areas are still easily reached within a few minutes drive. The cottage was simple but comfortable and suited our family of four perfectly. The garden was also really nice. Our girls loved exploring the back yard looking for critters. To top it off the fishing in the King river was really good, im pretty sure we will be back.

Wisteria Cottage is located in a quiet, secluded location on Bayonet Head. The two bedroom cottage is fully-equipped and is a home away from home. Beautiful gardens with lots of birds surround the cottage and it is a short, enjoyable walk to the waters edge or to bush reserves. I would highly recommend the property for anyone holidaying in Albany, as it is a great base to explore the surrounding area and national parks. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Albany.

Warm and cosy, beautiful gardens. Close to the river though no views. Very clean and comfortable, but disappointed with the old and thin scratchy towels. Nothing says welcome like a fluffy towel and a few bathroom supplies aside from tiny soaps. Good kitchen.

Lovey little cabin with gorgeous gardens and great location. Kids liked the tree house and we all enjoyed kayaking on oyster harbour and riding our bikes along the bike bath from Emu pt to Mt Clarence.

The pictures don’t do this cute cottage any justice. It is like walking into a cabin in the snow with slate floor, warm wood and stone features. It is out of town but for us that was fine. We are a family with older teens and they enjoyed being in a room together for a difference to home. Everything is there you need including snakes and ladders, milk on arrival and warm comfy beds. Easy walk to beach. Has a basketball hoop, swing and chooks. Highly recommend this property. We had a lovely stay.
